Officiant Sarah Bunnett-Gibson

We wanted to choose an officiant for our wedding that would make the ceremony feel more personal, not just with chosen quotes and readings that have been overdone. Sarah not only exemplified this, but went above and beyond. Our ceremony could not have been any better. She wrote completely original and amazing words that was so "us" it felt like we have known her for many years. She also really helped us to prepare ourselves for the ceremony, with planning and how to do everything (we are young and haven't been to many weddings ourselves) so she really was a major part of feeling so calm and prepared for the day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone professional, original, and very easy to work with.

From the moment that we spoke to Sarah over the phone for the first time, we new that she would be perfect. There was something in her voice that just seemed so reassuring; it felt like she was an “old” friend. Sarah made us feel comfortable and relaxed right away, washing away all of the worry and anxiety that we had for our big day. The process begins with a detailed conversation about both of us – Sarah truly wants to get to know you so she can make the ceremony as personal as possible; she wants to ensure that she knows everything that we value and that is important to us. After “drafting” her ideas, Sarah literally held our hand and walked us through the entire ceremony step by step. Sarah wrote the most beautiful, personalized speech, combing our own words (from our initial meeting) with her own. And not only that, she took the time to ensure that every word she used was to out liking. The day of the ceremony was absolutely perfect – Sarah’s speech was eloquent and her voice tranquil. All of our guests praised her heartfelt speeches and the entire ceremony. We could not have imagined a more perfect day, and it would not have been the same without Sarah. We can’t begin to describe how thankful we are and how much Sarah’s efforts mean to us. We would definitely recommend Sarah to all our family and friends.

Sarah was an integral part of our wedding. She answered many of out questions we had about our veremony. She was also very organized and ensured that everyone was comfortable with the arrangements during the rehearsal.

On the day of the wedding, she was very accomodating given that we had to delay the ceremony a bit due to unforseen events.

She is a WONDERFUL choice for anyone that wants either a beautiful non-denominational ceremony or an interfaith ceremony. In our initial meeting with her, she took a lot of time to get to know us individually and as a couple. She writes ceremonies to a couple’s specifications. She is a writer, and writes many of her ceremonies and readings on the spot. She wrote a quick blessing to end the ceremony when we were there (literally in two minutes) and it was so beautiful I actually started crying on her couch! She injects such a personal feel into the ceremony, like she has known us for years. She brought that special touch to our special day.
