Sarah E.Hyde Hair and Makeup

Sarah Hyde did the wedding party make-up and hair for my four bridesmaids, my mother and myself (the bride). I was married at Beaulieu Garden in Rutherford this summer and felt so lucky to have Sarah to work with on my wedding day. We did a trial a few months beforehand, which I scheduled just before my engagement party. My bridesmaids got really excited when they saw the outcome of her work. She really understands color and texture. She is creative but also really listens to preferences. I truly feel that she is the best in the Bay Area and I would recommend her to anyone. I have to say that Sarah is not cheap and as I look back on the cost, I would do it all over again. It was really worth it and I have never felt so beautiful or seen my mother as happy as she was after getting her hair and make-up done. Anyway, here are a few points about Sarah and why I feel so lucky to have worked with her on the biggest day of my life.

1. She has great vision, is a true artist and listens to what you like
2. She has exceptional products and will give great tips for future
3. She is punctual and will work until she has exceeded expectations
4. She is fun to be around – which is important in the pre-wedding hype
5. She has the best reputation – I love to research this stuff and she lived up to her 5 star reviews

Sarah Hyde was absolutely fabulous! Spending hours getting ready with Sarah was fun and full of laughs! Sarah has a light-hearted personality which made me and all my maids feel at ease. Sarah made me look stunning...she succeeded in creating a very natural look, accentuating all my best features. I didn't look like I was caked with makeup at all...I hate when brides look great but not like themselves!! My hair was beautiful, and during my trial we experimented with several different styles and took pictures of each. I feel like I looked my absolute best on my wedding day...and so did all my bridesmaids. I highly recommend Sarah for her expertise and great sense of style as well as her fabulous personality!

Sarah was AMAZING!! I cannot say enough about her! We had the hair and makeup trial before the wedding and she listened to my concerns and put it all together. I was so excited to work with her on the wedding day. She did my wedding party and both moms with an assistant. The day of she was on time and a joy to work with. She was flexible and excited, my hair turned out AMAZING, i had so many compliments. She did a great job of keeping the makeup light on the eyes as I requested and I looked fabulous! I cannot recommend her enough!

Sarah is very professional and does a great job at making you look natural and not overly made-up on your wedding day. You look like you, just better! Her services are on the higher end but you get what you pay for. Sarah took in all my feedback from the trials I had with her and gave me beautiful hair and make-up on my big day!

I had hired Nam ages ago, and I was looking for a hair person. After a couple of not so good trials, I finally found Sarah. She does makeup also, in retrospect, it probably would have been smarter to have Sarah do my makeup and hair -- but I loved what Nam did too much. Sarah did a beautiful job. I don't have a picture of my back, unfortunately. The hair stayed in place the whole day and it didn't hurt one bit

We are just back from honeymoon last night. What an adventure!

I can't thank you enough for your amazing services. In all my life I have never felt so beautiful and I credit you for much of that. Thank you!! You were so perfect and fabulous. My bridesmaids felt so too; many of them told my mother during the wedding they had never felt so beautiful at a wedding. I think I need to come take a lesson from you on how to properly apply eye make-up. On my list of things to do today is to buy some falsies for my eyes.

Hi Sarah!

The wedding went so smoothly and both of us had the most amazing time. The hair and makeup was beautiful! I got so many compliments throughout the night and it held up through all the dancing:) It really wasn't tense at all- I think it went really smoothly and everyone was done on time which was great. I truly enjoyed chatting with you on the day of and the couple of times leading up to that! You did an amazing job keeping it organized and on schedule and I really appreciated that.

We are on the airporter on our way to our honeymoon but when I get back I'll send you over some pictures so you can see how it all turned out (I'm on my iPhone now and my computer has all the pictures).
