Sascha's Catering

I can't recommend Sascha's and Jane their manager enough. We had our wedding at the Corradetti Glass Gallery, a bit of a challenging venue, and they performed nothing short of spectacular. They were incredibly flexible, food was just fabulous, and they managed to be almost invisible in terms of how everything was executed and how they navigated a very crowded dance floor and venue. We had a big, live band they had to maneuver around and they did so flawlessly. They were on time, delivered exactly as promised, couldn't have been nicer to work with and most importantly this was clearly not their first rodeo, they were a well oiled machine and we did not spend on second of our special night worrying about anything.

It was a great experience working with Jane and every tasting and menu meeting was fun! The food was outstanding at our wedding and cocktail hour. I think our guests were impressed by the amount and quality of the food. Definitely was a great decision working with this caterer for our special day!

The food is absolutely delicious and their menu is extensive, which meant we weren't stuck with boring chicken and beef dishes like most wedding receptions. Jane will go above and beyond to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. I'd most definitely recommend using Sascha's!

3 months on we continue to get compliments on the food from our wedding. Sascha's did our wedding and the brunch the next day, complete with a crepe bar...yum!

Sascha was fabulous to work with--very flexible and open to feedback and changes throughout the process. She also knew when to step in and tell us we were over-thinking things and make suggestions about which way to go. She definitely helped us make all the right calls.

We really wanted to do a family style meal and Sascha worked with us to pick foods that would work well at room temperature. In the end it was all fabulous. Also, the kids meals worked great.

The servers all seemed great. The ones I interacted with were super nice, and more importantly everything just went seamlessly. We had lots of guests with allergies and dietary restrictions, which they were totally on top of. They were able to handle special requests without any problem--everything from getting my grandmother food before the ceremony so she could take medication to making sure the little ones had ice for their juice boxes.

We could not have been happier with our choice!

For our wedding, we went with bit of a Mexican vibe, and although Sascha's is not a Mexican restaurant, we chose them knowing what an important role a caterer has. This is one vendor that will really be running the course of the wedding. And they did not disappoint. The Mexican inspired menu that Tara and the team at Sascha's put together for us was delicious and unique! They did 3 different food stations which were just really fun to get guests moving around for our cocktail style reception. It was perfect!

Tara was also really helpful in helping me figure out a lot of other non-food related questions and issues I had for the day of.

Chris who was one of the catering managers during the event was also so helpful and accomodating. Without really having a sit down dinner, I was worried I would not get a chance to eat. He kept coming up to me, my husband and our parents throughout the event asking if he could personally put together a plate of food for us or a drink, which was really a nice touch. Additionally, it was realized later in the evening that our outside venue had no running water which made having coffee served impossible. Chris mentioned this and offered to run to Dunkin Donuts to get a couple boxes of coffee. At that point in the evening, guests were enjoying their delicious cocktails of sangria and guava margaritas too much to care about having coffee, so we decided it was not necessary. It was however, really appreciated by myself and my hard to please mom that the offer was even made to go out of his way for us.

We worked with Jane at Sascha's and we were so pleased with everything. People kept commenting after the wedding how good the food was. We presented Jane our budget and she stayed within it that budget while offering several different ideas. She let us be as hands on/hands off as we wanted. On the day of the wedding the head caterer, Chris, was ever present but not bothersome. He was very receptive to questions and he helped make the evening unforgettable. Even better is now we can go to Sasha's in Baltimore and sample even more of their wonderful menu.

Tara was a pleasure to work with even tho I changed the menu five times. The food was the best I've ever had and the sangria was to die for. The staff was friendly and on top of everything. It was perfect.

Our catering manager, Jane, was incredible! She helped us through the whole process. She was so patient and flexible even when I changed my mind about linens (twice) and when we decided to do a seated/served meal vs. buffet just one month ahead of time. The food was delicious - we have gotten lots of compliments from our family and friends about how great it was.

I wanted to let you know that your work & the staff's was just
exquisite for our wedding reception. From the quality of the food, to
the beautiful presentation, the attentiveness and politeness of the
staff, and the impeccable clean up job at the end of the day, we were
beyond happy. To have Lisa help with my dress for the ceremony and
having food in the cabin for us to enjoy after the ceremony was
another wonderful element.

We really appreciate all the hard work that went into making
our day such a success. Our guests can't stop raving about the food! I highly recommend your services!

We were engaged for 3 years and one of the first bridal shows we went to Sascha's was there. They were one of the only vendors that, at 3 years till the wedding, would even talk to us. Most told us to call when it was about a year to the wedding. They talked to us about what to expect and how and what they normally cover and the food they had (bacon wrapped around pretzels with drizzled honey) made them one of our favorites from the start. 2 years later when we started looking at caterer's, they were still our top choice.

Tara and her staff did a wonderful job the night of. When Tara realized that they had forgotten a specific drink we asked for, she ran out and got it for us.

The best thing I can say is that everyone I talked to complimented the food. Especially those bacon wrapped pretzels.

My one issue was that occasionally emails would go unanswered. This was normally solved with a quick phone call to check up on everything, and to ask anything else I had suddently come up with, but it was still a little annoying a couple of weeks out from the wedding.

We could not be more pleased with the majic of Sascha's!! Not only did they cater our wedding we got married there!!!! Sure did right under the quirky chandelier I fell in love with!!! Our guests raved about our food and still do for that matter!!! Our night could not have been more amazing, we will be forever fans of this place! Sascha's staff and food is superb! Our wedding was outdoors at our house so there was additional planning with the tables, chairs, china, glass wear, serving and set-up. Tara and her staff were very helpful with suggestions to organize and plan all of the details. Tara and staff also made a planning trip to the house to help us with the layout and menu selections. The staff was friendly and courteous and they kept the evening on schedule and flowing as planned. Setting up and serving from our kitchen the staff was very careful not to cause any damage. The employees really do enjoy what they do and they are ready and willing to assist in any way they can. Since the wedding we have had Sascha's cater several family events for us.

These guys were amazing! We tasted food from several other caterers and it was all so boring and bland. Then we went to Sasha's, met Jane, and tasted their food, and we were sold. They were so accomodating (I'm a vegetarian married to a total carnivore) and everything was excellent. We had a signature drink, and the bar staff was great with that too. We couldn't have been happier!

I'm quite torn about this review. Our food was delicious and our night ultimately went really well - but communication with Tara was difficult from the moment we signed our contract on as she is terrible about answering emails promptly (sometimes over a month would go by without a reply - perhaps she is easier to reach via phone but unfortunately email is our preferred form of communication) and we were very disappointed by the fact that the schedule and plan for the evening which we worked out with her before the event was not communicated to the event manager, Mark. He obviously did not know much about our wedding and was asking many questions of us and our families throughout the evening. These were questions that we had answered already with Tara just a week and a half before. Mark was doing his best but he was fairly clueless and it was frustrating for us and caused a lot of confusion for our DJ. The staff was wonderful and did an amazing job. I wish I could give a better review for Sascha's as our guests really loved the food. But as an overall catering service I felt that the quality was lacking.

We used Sascha's catering for our wedding and they were AWESOME! We worked with Jane and she helped us come up with a menu that all our guests loved. Sascha was actually there the day of, to make sure everything went smoothly. Everything was perfect and they were fantastic to work with.

Amazing food, amazing presentation, amazing catering manager - ask for Tara for sure! She will go above and beyond to meet your needs. We heard "best food I've had a wedding" countless times, what more can you ask for?

Sascha's has long been a favorite restaraunt of ours, and while the catering menu is completing separate it exceeded our expectations! Working with Jane during the planning process made us feel comfortable and confident in the quality of food and service that we would receive on our wedding day. Guests raved about our food, and the leftovers on Sunday were enjoyed again by our family. Jane and her staff took care of the entire set-up and when we arrived at the reception site everything was perfect. The staff kept the evening moving along, not rushing us but comfortably moving from one event to the next. It was perfect! If we had to do it again, we would definitely work with Jane at Sascha's! Fantastic!!!

I can't recommend Sascha's highly enough! I had been in a wedding that they catered years ago, and knew immediately that I'd go with them for my wedding just based on that experience. The staff was more helpful and friendly than I could say, always asking us if we needed anything and bringing us things before we even had thought of asking for them. The food was incredible! We had so much, and everyone commented on how delicious everything was. While we did not go with an inexpensive package, what we got was worth more than every penny!

We were extremely happy with our choice of Sascha's for the catering of our wedding. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented, without feeling pretentious. Our coordinator was very helpful in designing a menu to fit in our budget, and making sure all the details were ironed out. The on-site manager did a terrific job of making sure the entire reception ran smoothly and I really appreciate his attention to everything. They even provided our wedding cake, which was as tasty and beautiful as anything we could get from a specialist cake maker. We love Sascha's restaurant and their catering is equally good.

The food was wonderful. Professionalism left something to be desired. Friend of family and expected much more than what we recieved. Would not recommend and unfortunatly do not think we will do buisness with them again.

Sascha's has been an Approved Caterer at Chase Court for over ten years. We love them! Excellent, creative food, outstanding service, and reasonable prices that aren't over the top. They are a delight in every way. Jane and Sascha and their whole staff will take great care of you from your contact to your last. They are one of our favorites, and that's saying a lot.

Sasha's has been one of my favorite eateries since the 1990's when she started in Baltimore. Now also a wonderful catering establishment I was so excited when I found they were coming to La Banque de Fleuve to cater a rehearsal dinner. Jayne, the catering manager is a superb professional and brought with her an extraordinary staff. The food was delicious and the guests were treated like royalty.

Sascha's does such wonderful and creative work for events large and small. As a photographer covering so many venues throughout the years, I always love to see their presentations. Their food not only looks good but tastes exquisite. Great service too!

Fun and delicious food! Wonderful displays for the stations/buffets..... Great menus, always changing with the seasons.
