Savoir Faire Events Hawaii

The day of the wedding was wonderful and Aubrey and her team surprised us on the amount of things they got done in one day. We were happy with her vision and the rustic set up of our eco-friendly outdoor wedding by the ocean. She was organized, thoughtful and planned everything to the tee. And Larissa and the Savoir Faire team were attentive, helpful and great with our guests. One of the best things about Aubrey was that when things got stressful, she was great at keeping her cool and being supportive. Her creativeness and knowledge of everything eco-friendly was impressive. Also, being a Hawaii local, we liked that she was very knowledgeable about Hawaii customs and traditions. We had several meetings throughout the term, and she was also good at listening to our needs, and helping to find vendors that matched our taste and style. Aubrey worked to be gentle on our budget and save where we reasonably could. She did many DIY eco-friendly projects to help, and she even found ways to throw in a few nice surprises for us the big day (which we were thrilled about). She had a great personality and I even saw her as a friend throughout the planning process. While Savoir Faire excelled to help us on many notes, we felt that one major thing for us, could have been better. We signed the "Ike", full-service contract, 9 months prior to the wedding because we wanted, "This FULL service is fit for the couple who would has limited time to devote to planning details of a wedding event and would prefer a professional coordinator to handle the organization & design element of it all. This amazing experience allows you time to truly enjoy the planning and day of your wedding with no worries". We did have busy schedules, and we made our schedules clear throughout the wedding process. And even though we booked months ahead, we felt that the actual full-fledged planning and finalization of vendor contracts didn't really start until a month or two before our wedding. While I understand that our wedding isn't the only one and the planner has other things too do, we wished that we didn't have to always worry when this or that was going to get done.It could be the New Yorker in us, but we felt that some things were booked last minute and we were very disappointed when a week before our wedding, we still did not have chairs, tables, or catering equipment confirmed on paper, and the florist was calling upset about payments. We had about 65+ guests fly in to see us from the east coast a week before the wedding and while we felt that we should have been spending time with them that week, we were busy worrying about things like this that needed to be done for the wedding.I am without a doubt that Savoir Faire would execute a flawless wedding. It depends on your personality it may be just “pre-wedding stress” that the above was a little frustrating. But all in all, as mentioned, the actual wedding day turned out great and we were happy. We didn't have to worry about one thing during the morning when getting ready or during the wedding, and I felt that she did go above and beyond in many aspects. There are far more positives than negatives and we still love Aubrey, and think she is an amazing person.

Attended a wedding of Aubrey's and it was beautiful. She was sooo nice and organized. Totally relieved the bride of stree the whole time. Thanks Aubrey!

First off, I'm probably like every other budget conscious bride....Initially, I was skeptical about hiring a planner because I thought I could do it all by myself and save the money... But I am SO SO SO happy and grateful my hubby convinced me! I think I am indebted to him FOREVER just for telling me "we need to hire a planner". It was the best $$ we ever spent!Aubrey and the team at Savoir Faire Events Hawaii are AWESOME!!!! Aubrey is an excellent planner/designer/coordinator/go-to-girl and a great friend! Once you meet this wonderful woman you will instantly just love her! Aubrey and Larissa and the ladies at Savoir Faire brought our "go-green"/re-use/recycle ideas to life with beauty and style. They took care of every little detail from start to finish and made our wedding day stress free and seamless! Since the wedding was in Hawaii and my daughter lives in Seattle, Aubrey was the vital link between us as well as the vendors. She did all the worrying for us. On the day of the wedding, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the experience and my daughter, who is normally a "worrier”, said that it was "the best wedding ever"! Her very detailed schedule kept us all on track. Aubrey is very personable and had the experience to foresee and take care of potential problems that could have come up… she had a good working relationship with my vendors, things went really smoothly. She even had new ideas about where I should shop for a dress and offered suggestions for gift baskets that we had planned. I especially liked the way that she charged a flat rate for the event and went out of her way to go the extra mile.

I am from Honolulu, but have been living on the mainland, so it was a destination wedding in a way. Having someone there was really an advantage in the planning…the knowledge she had about different vendors and locations, was invaluable. I had a great experience with Aubrey. She was always available to me for quick questions or advice... She recommended great vendors that I LOVED
and had great and unique ideas for our wedding…having her as my "day of" coordinator
relieved a lot of stress for me. I didn't want to burden any of my family members on my wedding day putting them in charge of anything. I wanted them to enjoy so having Aubrey there to take care of the
details made the day worry-free. She has such a calm personality and was very organized (essential on the hectic wedding day)…it was more than worth it to have hired Aubrey; she saved us money with her recommendations and tips. We really were able to take the entire day in, instead of worrying about if the centerpieces were delivered on time or if the programs were being passed out. I've been in, and attended other weddings in Hawaii that have used other local wedding coordinators since my own, none of them compared to Aubrey.

I would highly recommend Aubrey for your day-of wedding coordinator…I was very resistant to the idea of hiring a coordinator…with Aubrey, I was glad that I gave in to the idea of having a coordinator. She was warm yet professional. She seemed to easily gauge my level of stress and adapted accordingly. And she was very thorough. After all of the planning that I had already done, it was surprising to see how many things still remained on her to-do list. I also found her quite knowledgeable about my location and vendors, having worked with each of them before. I would guess that her established relationships with the hotel coordinator and vendors made the process run more smoothly. As for the day-of coordinating itself, I felt like that was where Aubrey really shined. From getting my dad to smile (it's totally not natural for him) while walking me down the aisle to ushering away my drunken emcee, I found she had a natural ability to handle a wide variety of personalities… she kept us all on schedule very well without making any of it seem rushed. My wedding day was my favorite day ever. And I wouldn't be sitting here at work on a Sunday taking the time out to write this email if I didn't think that Aubrey was worth every cent we spent on her services.

Aubrey and her company was a perfect match for our wedding. Not only is she very organized she was willing to help us through out our planning by meeting with us on her own time and giving us the best recommendations… The day of my wedding was SOOOOOOOO Stress free I could not believe it…My husband forgot to order a cake table, but Aubrey created a beautiful table with what we had. I didn’t even know it wasn’t part of the equipment order. What I really liked was that she didn’t let the bride know there was stress outside the bride chamber. My friends and I loved her. She was welcomed to our wedding as family and not a planner. The detail, the love, and the hard work it was so worth hiring her for the day. My wedding was the most wonderful experience I had EVER had, Aubrey has a lot to do with my happiness. Everyone would be so lucky to have her as a planner. The day I hired Aubrey, I met not only a talented planner, but a friend for life.

Our wedding day was everything I envisioned because of you [Aubrey]…you were able to make it all come to life. We don't know what we would have done without you!! You definitely made my day as stress free as you could…you were there to take the worry away and helped my day to flow freely. [My husband] and I enjoyed everything you did from the rehearsal to the organization of the wedding… I cannot express how grateful I was to have you be a part of our special day. I am sooooooo happy that I found you and you were available. [My husband] kept asking me why I needed to have you there that day, after it all; he was more than happy and finally understood why. We…are so happy that we have nothing but positive things to say about our wedding planner!! From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU so much Aubrey for helping us make our wedding day a beautiful, stress free, memorable, awesome, unforgettable day!!

We are still constantly talking about how much we enjoyed our wedding, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you!!! It being a destination wedding and only arriving in Honolulu less than a week before, I was going through so much stress with all the tiny little details... but, the day came and everything fell into place! There was never a time when I had to worry about anything, thanks to you for taking care of all the many things that could possibly go wrong. It was remarkable! It was definitely a detailed packed wedding and with just one meeting with you, you were able to tie everything together and made our day a perfect day! …It is because of you, we will have wonderful memories of our wedding!!!
