Savvi Formalwear

We used Savvi Formalwear for our tuxes. The guys looked so sharp on the big day. There were some measurement malfunctions on the day of pickup but they were fixed there on the spot and everyone looked great!!

The service and selection for tuxes was superb at Savvi. My husband spent a little bit more for his tux and it came on time and fit perfectly. Best to go during the day when they're less busy.

My fiance used Savvi since his brother rented a tux there last year. The service was excellent and they had a good choice of tuxes to select from. Prices were good, too!

Savvi was great, the employee we dealt with went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was a huge success. We loved the tux's and even when one of the groomsmen split his pants, they sent a new pair of pants over right away! A+++

This was our third wedding and our first experience with Savvi, but it was very impressive! They know their products and do an outstanding job in sizing and fitting the tuxedos. The service provided was exceptional!

we loved the fact that we were able to get the great deal that we received at saavi, because not only did the groom get his tux free, the father of the bride, which my brother filled in for that, got his for free as well. the groomsmen also got really good deals on their attire as well as getting their shoes included. the junior groom and ring bearer also got their tux from their, so it was nice that they had their sizes. it was just great all around because everybody was able to get their attire at one place instead of going elsewhere to get different things to match the colors. what was also great was that the colors of the groomsmen's vest and ties matched perfectly to the bridesmaid's dresses that we got from David's Bridal. the customer service that we've received from Demar was fantastic! everytime we had a question he had no problem answering it and was very professional. we would recommend Savvi to anyone that was getting married because they would have a great experience.

This place is awesome. I got a $1,000 dress for only $600. They did not do my alterations for they were to pricey so I went to a small alteration place and she did a great job. Her name was Ivanna and she is located by Burger King on 76th street. She was very cheap and an amazing person. I would recommend the both of these companies to anyone! Good luck!

The guy looked so handsome. One groomsman shirt was to big but we made it work because he didn't try it on... No fault of Savvi.

Tuxes were in great condition. They looked very nice. Pick-up and return was very easy. Prices were reasonable.

I used the West County mall location and Tim was so helpful in picking out just the right style for my husband. He looked awesome in the cutaway tails. All of my guys looked great. I would highly recommend them over men's wearhouse. No group fees, cleaning fees, better selection, just cheaper altogether, and very professional.

Glenn at Savvi Formalwear was very knowledgeable and helpful. We selected the tuxedos in about 15 minutes, with his input, and everything was ready to be picked up 2 days before the wedding. All around a great experience!

Savvi at Cumberland Mall handled most of our business. The staff was always super friendly! In fact, one of the young ladies continued to assist us after the stores closing time. I was impressed time and time again with the thoroughness of this team. We were notified when one of the guys had not been in to get measured. And when the wrong design of handkerchiefs were delivered to the guys on pick-up day, the manager at Savvi made sure the right design handkerchiefs were delivered the following day.

My husband decided on Savvi because it was easy for his groomsmen to get measured and put their measurements in on-line. The men all wore morning coats to our daytime wedding and looked fabulous! (Savvi even had adequate samples in the store for my husband to try on prior to deciding) All of the suits fit well. We had no problems with the pick up or drop off. Further, the suits themselves were just beautiful. I am so glad my husband went the morning coat route!

Nothing but great things to say! Professional and easy to work with. We used the St. Charles location in Mid Rivers Mall and they were a dream!!

I got my wedding dress from Savvi and it was gorgeous!!! The staff was very nice and helpful too and were even willing to give me a discount if I had rented tuxes from there.(only reason I didn't was because I decided not to go with tuxes)

I really liked this location. All of the staff were very friendly and I felt important as soon as I walked in the door. They were very accommodating despite me having to go in to change the colors around a bit (which I’m soooo glad I did) and one of my GM did not get fitted until the Monday before the wedding (literally only 5 days before the wedding) and his tux fit and looked great!!! All the guys, especially DH looked amazing in their tuxes!

Savvi's was great. They gave us the best deal and the customer service was great. The guys in the wedding party were measured at three different stores and there were no problems with fit and everything came in on time. The staff at the Galleria location were especially patient with all the questions that my fiance and I asked them.

I actually used the Savvi's in Lawrence, KS. I was unaware that the local tux shop I had made all my choices at was bought out by Savvi's. The new staff at Savvi's was able to track down all my info from a sister store of the one they bought out and saved the day! Our tuxes looked awesome and we had no problems.

I looked at so many tuxedo places and not only did savvi provide the greatest customer service ever, they matched any other deal from any other tuxedo vendor. So, I could have gone with mens wearhouse because it was the same cost, but the woman from mens wearhouse was a nightmare!! The total experience with Savvi was fast ans so easy!! all example in the store, not just in a magazine. They were the best experience out of all the vendors.

We had originally planned on my husband's cousin being in the wedding, but come to find out, he wasn't going to be able to. He is in the Navy, and they were still going to be out at sea on our wedding day. However, two weeks before our big day, he called and said that he was going to be able to make it. I went to Savvi and they ordered us another tux in his measurements and gave us the same discount for him as they did for everyone else. They were great!!

We ordered tuxes and invitations from Savvi formalwear. It was a great experience for us. The tuxes looked great. We received 50% off our invitations for ordering tuxes there. The invitations were beautiful. The service was great.

Savvi Formal wear took all the worry about finding suits for tall men. My husband is very tall and so are his friends. They also wear a size 15 in shoes and Savvi had them available! It was very easy working with the people at Savvi and their prices were good. I liked their styles better than some of the other places out there.

These guys are awesome. As soon as we went in the first time, we knew we wanted to use them. They're very helpful and reasonably priced too.

Very impressed! The only issue was the form of payment. It wasn't a big deal, but the man ringing us out acted like we were stupid for not seeing the big sign. Quality and price made it all worth it!

I would definitely recommend Savvi Formalwear for your wedding attire. They were very helpful in choosing the tux that would be right for my husband who was very picky and unsure of what exactly he wanted. They were also able to outfit our entire wedding party very nicely even though we had quite a variety of sizes and shapes. I was particularly concerned about my husband who has had many issues with jacket sizes at other tuxedo locations (broad shoulers/athletic build) but my worries were unnecessary as they had a jacket that fit him perfectly! Savvi was also very flexible when I called a couple weeks before the wedding and requested a change in our pickup date (needed Wed pickup due to the Thurs night rehearsal). Even though we picked up tuxedos at 3 different locations everything was ready to go and perfect when we needed them.

The lady that worked with my husband helped us out greatly to find the right color ties for him and his groomsmen. It took a little longer then expected to receive my husbands vest, but we got it in enough time before the wedding.

Savvi was excellent and was able to do alterations on the spot to get the groomsmen in and out quickly. I would highly recommend Savvi not only because of the incredible customer service, but because of the quality of their menswear attire, as it easily exceeded anything else we looked at (including Men's Warehouse).

All of the guys looked great! Just make sure you return them in time to avoid an extra charge!

What can I say about Savvi? They were great. You have the men go in whenever they get around to it of course (at the last minute, stressing the bride out) and get measured. Two to four days before the wedding they go back to try on the tux (we got the George Clooney look). They turned out great. Of course one guy came from out of town and counln't get his tux until the last minute and his was the only pair of pants that werr to big. But we made it work and that's all that matters.

Savvi is great ! A couple of the guys needed different sizes and they were able to accomodate us with quickness.We had to change our colors and they were so willing and accommodating to out request. Their colors matched our dress vendors. Great service! Thanks!

Very helpful from day one. Great website to track who has been measured, really flexible since they have lots of locations.

I know that this is actually a tux rental place, but we did get our invitations through them too! In fact, by renting our tux's through them, we got 40% off of our invites! They were gorgeous and everything we wanted. Nobody ever even knew that we didn't pay an arm and a leg for them.

Great place to get your tux. We had to change our colors and they were so willing and accommodating to out request. Their colors matched our dress vendors. Great service!!

The guys at the store were great to work with. Our groomsmen had a good time with them. We have been in many weddings where the buttons fall off of tuxes so we came prepared and its a good thing we did. We had buttons falling off. We had a few miscues on shirt sizes when we picked everything up, but these were taken care of by the staff at the store. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

We had some issues with the Ridgedale mall location - some I"m sure were not their fault - We had some people calling in measurements due to being out of town - We sent the first three guys to get their tuxes on friday - one of the vests didn't fit right another had pants issues - and all three needed to be adjusted but all was fixed by the time we showed up with the 4th guy later on friday (my dad- who did not try on his outfit at the store) - day of the wedding my dad puts his tux on and his vest is too short - it fits just not nearly long enough - all rest assured called and sent someone over and got it switchedout in time - they were really help and efficient in fixing any arrising problems

The prices at Savvi Formalwear were lower than those of other similiar businesses. I'd gone to a bridal show and had recieved an awesome deal that gave me 2 free tuxes and $30 of each other rental. This really decreased the cost for our groomsmen and the styles were great!

I loved Savvi Formalwear! I was nervous about using a chain store to rent the tuxes for our wedding, but James made it so easy and really took time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We had them order two different tuxes for my fiance to try on (which they did for free) and ordered different colors of vests for us to try. They were also incredibly flexible since we had groomsmen who lived out of town and they had several options to get fitted. I especially loved the website where I could login and see which groomsmen had been sized, who had paid, and even their sizes! The day came and everyone looked wonderful--thanks Savvi and especially James!

It was a breeze working with Savvi. None of the snootiness we found at other tux rental places. Very easy, great prices, great service, great selection. We loved it.

We had a large bridal party and Savvi was able to accomodate everyone. We had someone from the reception who mistakenly picked up a groomsman's coat and was did not realize it until the returned home (out of state). Savvi assisted us in locating a Savvi store in their city so they could return the coat.

Savvi Formalwear was a decent choice to meet our tuxedo needs for the men in the wedding party. For the most part they were prompt, professional, and helpful. Groom's tuxedos are free with the rental of I believe 4 or more tuxes which is a nice break. Our full tuxedo + shoes were apprx. $145 each and they were in very good condition and looked great the day of the wedding. Our only complaint is that they called to tell us one of the tuxes was not returned, that we know was, and said the manager would call us to follow-up on it, and he never did? Other than that I would highly recommend Savvi to any future groom and men in a wedding party.

Our guys looked pretty good that day! Savvi has a great reputation, and they were very professional with us. Unforunately, when the guys went to get their tuxes the groom's shirt, vest, and tie were the wrong color. One of the groomsmen actually had cigarette butts in his jack that fell in a little hole in the pocket. But when they were told what happened, the employees were really nice and very apologetic about it. The colors weren't a big deal for us, but they were happy someone had told them what happened so they can correct that mistake in the future.
Despite the small problems, their courtesy and professionalism really won us over and we'd use them again in the future.

Savvi was a great value in terms of cost, and my groom and all his groomsmen were very dashing :)
We did have a little trouble with color orders being mixed up, but that was blamed on an employee "who is no longer" with the business. Luckily the week before the wedding a sales woman called to verify our order and was able to correct the mistake.
Overall I would definitely ust this service again.

Our experience at Savvi formalwear was overall a good one. We got our tuxes fine and they looked great! BUT, they offered us some promotional stuff saying that we could get 3 days, 2 nights free for having rented X amount of tuxes...so we did, but that offer was CRAP! It was not valid, and my husband was very close to suing them for having told us a lie...so if you go there, don't believe the stuff that they say about their free vacations...it's a SCAM!

it only cost 80 per tux and that included EVERYTHING. and we got two for free. very good deal.

They were pretty expensive but they were able to fix all of there mistakes when the tuxes were picked up. They were missing pieces, different sizes together...

Savvi was ok...We went to the one at Gwinett Place. Roderick was great. He was very professional ad friendly. My only issue was that they didnt have many variations of colors. I settled for ties in the color of BMs dresses because the vests were to far off color. but they way we did it was classy anyhow.

We had a good idea of what we were looking for before we walked into the store, so that made our experience go very smoothly. They were very helpful in putting the outfits together so we could see what the colors would really look like once put on. That was very helpful! They worked with the guys the day they picked up their tuxes and the return was quick and easy.

Ms. Gayle at Savvi was so wonderful! I think she could feel my fear over the phone when I told her I would be sending my future husband in by himself to pick out tuxedos for he and the groomsmen (he has a very vibrant taste in clothing). She told me to go to the website and pick out what I had in mind. When my husband got there, of course he picked out the most outrageous tuxedo imaginable. No fear! Gayle skillfully convinced him, without him even realizing, to choose the tuxedo I'd picked :) It was so hilarious because the day after the wedding, he said "I'm so glad I went with those tuxedos." I just smiled and gave him all the credit!

I cried the first time i saw all the boys in there tuxs. They did such a great job with all of the boys. We had a difficult wedding party and they accomidated them great!!

We used Savvi in Greenville for the tux rental for our 5/1/09 wedding. I would say that they were very pleasant to work with but we did seem to have some issues with "missing" information on some of the grooms who said that they sent their measurements in so, if you use them, stay right on top of everythign to make sure that all measurements are into Savvi in time. They were for the most part easy to work with, they ordered a special bow tie for my nephew who is two and they made sure they had something that would work for him on the big day. I would recommend them but would make sure that you stay in communication with them, since they are located in the mall it is convenient and their staff is nice to work with.

i got my girl dresses from here. they were cheaper than some other places and i just had to do what i had to do..... it was like 345 for all 3 of my girls!

The tuxes were a great value and the deal we received from the bridal show was what helped make the decision.

Great service, let me hem adn haw till I found what I liked :) Great with making sure that everything fit right and was steamed and ready to go on the big day :) Lots of options for differnt styles for the guys :)

We went with Savvi and were overall pleased. Some problems we encountered were: they d/c the vest color we wanted and we had to call them to find out; they tried to have my grandfather get a pair of pants that were too big for him and when he said he wanted a smaller size they just said "thats how they fit", he went back and get a different associate who gave him the pants he wanted. The price was right, all the wedding party recieved all the pieces to their outfits; and I was very happy with the end result.

My brother in law picked up the groom's father's tux for him the night before the wedding and didn't check it until they got home. It was a child's tux! But Savvi made it all good the next day and I believe they comped him because of it. Felt the tuxes were a little pricy, but we didn't really shop around.

Overall Savvi worked out pretty well for us. The tuxes looked great, and everyones fit well. There was a little confusion with one of the tuxes and we ended up getting it about an hour before pictures started, but it ended up being no big deal.

Most of the tuxes fit OK, had to send two whole suits back for refitting. I felt like the pants just fit weird all around, like the legs of the pants were just too big around for their waist sizes, looked like jnco pants or something.

We went with Savvi for the boys. There was a location down the street from my apartment and we got a lot of savings. I don't know if we would have been able to go with them if I hadn't gotten such a deal. I didn't want to go to bridal shows, but that was where I was able to snag such a great discount.

My now husband and our two groomsmen are a sweaty crew and we were able to get these goregeous, light-weight tuxes. Savvi was super flexible and let me change shoes and shirt colors pretty about 5 times. They assured me it happened all the time... it was nice of them to say that.

I got my dress off the internet, which I would not necessairly argue against. I'm not small and going to David's and places alike I was albe to try on maybe 15 dresses that would close up the back. It's lame to choose from so little when most every dress will come in larger sizes. I went online and found a beautiful dress at Sincerity Bridal that was perfect for my winter wedding. Just be sure to order it early so you can get it altered if it's too big and so you can get to the gym if it's not.

I used Savvi in Minnesota and they did a great job and had a good deal at the time. They were very good about fitting all the guys properly.

We originally came in, set up our preferences, got my future husband measured and gave all our information in with a young blond girl. dont remember her name, she was a little unsure, which is ok. What is not ok was the fact that she or someone else lost all of our information, when our groomsmen came in to get measured they wouldnt take their money because they said we never picked anything out. This forced us to come back, get him remeasured and reselect everything. This time I requested the lady who also works at lace and roses and helped me select my dress and she fixed everything and made sure my grooms tux was free with the groomsmans rentals, which the other lady didnt do- so iwas being overcharged. But this place had the largest selection of colors and styles in the area. And try on the tuxs before you take em home, two of my groomsmen had to swap out shirts, which wasnt a big deal cause they had replacements.

We ordered 13 tuxes. They doubled their offer and gave us 2 free tuxes. However sizes were still off for some.

About what you'd expect from a bunch of 16 year olds working the shop. But when all we needed was a few measurements and a tux, they completed their job. All the tuxes came in, there were some hiccups with my brother's pants and a few of the sizes wrong, everything was fixed immediately. This was a benefit of going to a tux rental place which stores its tuxes in the city, everything was rectified in time. The tuxes looked great and everyone seemed happy. That's all we could ask!

We had a tough time with Savvi. We didn't get the right sizes for everyone, we ordered suspenders for all the wedding party and many of the suspenders didn't fit, and all the buttons were different on the suits. There were some gold and some silver buttons and it was not all the same. It was very upsetting because we didn't realize the mix ups till we had the whole wedding party together.

Overall, I am not very pleased wtih Savvi formalwear.

I have to say that I LOVED the woman that helped us pick the tuxes and measure (Megan?). She was also pleasant on the phone and in person.

I am VERY dissapointed wtih several things. First of all, they moved less than a month before our wedding. We were not notified

Second- three days before the wedding, my groomsmen//fathers went back for their final fittings. Out of 7 people total, only ONE tux fit propperly. They re-assured us that they would rush them in time.

Third- The day of the wedding came- and some of the tuxes were still ill-fitting

FOURTH- Staff at Savvi encouraged me to get pocket squares for the men, instead of doing boutineres. Wish I went with the boutineres

Some of the men had pockets sewn shut with no pocket square. Others had white pocket squares (when they were supposed to be navy)

I just feel that for the price these tuxedos cost they should have fit AND been matching.

the groomsmen in my pictures now look ridiculous.


I guess I will remember them forever...every time I look at my wedding photos and see mismatched groomsman.

I would reccomend any place other than this! All of the people who work here are younger and have no manners what so ever. I think they were actually in the back doing drugs at the time of our initial consultation! They were very rude and snotty! If I had the extra money I would have gone anywhere else but they are definitely priced the best, their service just is terrible!!!!

Savvi is the best, Amanda in Springfield will size you up correctly. All my couples enjoy the first class treatment, respect and service. With suit in store they can correct some of those little things right then. If you want to have the best look, feel and comfort use Savvi.
