Scalped Salon and Spa

I LOVE Scalped. They listen to what you are looking for and also how you live your day to day life to better get a feel how much you like to work with your hair. I saw Kathleen for my wedding and she was like a artist perfecting her sculpture. She made sure every hair was where it should be and that everything looked just right. My hair lasted all day even with the rainy weather and the hundreds of hugs.

I have been going to Scalped for years and so it was an obvious choice for hair and make-up on my wedding day. I had both my hair and make-up done by Kathleen (my regular stylist) and my five bridesmaids plus to mothers had their hair done as well. Everyone was very happy with their hair (and I loved my make-up as well). I am never shy about reccomending all of the girls at Scalped. They make you feel comfortable and everything ran so smoothly. We also all had manicures and pedicures the day before the wedding and they were all perfect as well. I can't say enough about the service and staff at Scalped whether for a wedding, special occasion or just a haircut, color, waxing or any of their services. Highly reccomended!

This tranquil spa allowed my bridal party to select our own music while we were getting ready, and offered us free drinks including mimosas! They stayed open late and let us have the place to ourselves. I brought in pictures of what I sort of wanted, but wasn’t picky, and they blended the looks into one great one.

I was at first hesitant to use a makeup artist, but decided last minute it was worth the money, and I was right. Apparently they use professional makeup meant for cameras, and it looked great and upheld the summer heat. However, on several family members' cameras, you could see the foundation/ powder. But on the photographer's professional camera, the makeup looked great. In-person, the makeup gave me a flawless finish.
