Susan and her staff at Scentsational Events made our wedding venue BEAUTIFUL! Her warm personality won me over from the very beginning. I loved the fact that shared how she's committed to making all of her brides' wedding visions come to life despite their budgets. She was incredibly flexible as my bridal party and number of guests changed throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, she brightened up the bridal suite with her great spirit and stayed around to make last minute adjustments. The bouquets were beautiful and the centerpieces wowed my guests. I'd use her again without hesitation!

Susan was amazing! She was very creative and enthusiastic. Even though I was up front about my limited budget, Susan treated me like a million dollar bride. The centerpieces were so beautiful. The bouquets were gorgeous. Also, she was about $1000 cheaper then another vendor I met with. If I ever need flowers again, Scentsational Events will be my first call!

Scentsational Events did an amazing job creating the perfect floral decorations for our wedding!! Susan was very responsive and easy to work with during the planning process. When we met to discuss our flower choices, she knew exactly what we wanted and was able to come up with some great ideas. We were very pleasantly surprised when she sent us the contract with costs...I don't think any other florist/decor vendors could have beat or come close to their price! On our wedding day we ended up having bad weather (a snowstorm in late October!) and we had to make several last minute changes. Susan and her staff were very flexible and creative in making everything look beautiful, all the while still fulfilling our vision of what we had planned months earlier. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we envisioned! I very highly recommend Scentsational Events to any couple looking for a creative, high quality, and affordable floral/decor vedor!!!

FANTASTIC! I am so so so pleased with everything she did for my wedding day. She took my visions and made them perfect. My MIL was due to pick up the bouquets the day of the wedding. She was running late, and Susan offered to drive my flowers an hour away to me. (We were under $500 so delivery wasn't an option) And her prices are VERY reasonable. Thank you, Susan!

Both Susan and Eddie are wonderful to work with. They listen to their customers and willing to work with you. We just had our wedding at Glenview Mansion on 09/25/2011. They did a amazing job.

Designer Eddie is a true designer. Since I am a designer myself, i am little more picky with the whole theme and look. We have visited several florists. None has met our expectation. Eddie understands the concept of design and coordinating of the overall look. In addition, the price is unbeatable compare with other shops also. We were really surprised with the size of the flowers and amount of flowers they have put in. Eddie has really go above and beyond. Our guests are so in love with the flowers. They took flowers home.

I hope this will help any future brides who seeks a great floral company and floral designer.

Susan (The owner) was great to work with. She can work with you no matter what your budget is. We had a very low floral budget considering the size of our bridal party and # of tables (14 attendants and 25 centerpieces). She worked with me to pick out flowers that would work with my budget and color scheme. She runs a very honest business. They publish prices on their website and in the sample book she brings to the initial appoinment so it's nice to know she is quoting you the same as another bride no matter how much money you have to spend. She responds very quickly to emails and is very accomodating. The day of everything went smoothly for delivery and my flowers were EXACTLY how they were described in the contract. I highly suggest working with them.

I loved working with Susan and Eddie at Scentsational Events. Susan is genuinely kind and caring and exceptionally hard-working. She went through quite a few versions of flowers until we got to the exact style that I wanted. I sent Susan pics of what I wanted for my bridal and bridesmaid bouquets and hoped for the best -- they made bouquets that were even more amazing than I ever could have dreamed! Everyone raved about how beautiful the centerpieces and aisle flowers were, it was all just gorgeous. They even added flowers to the cake, even though I forgot to ask her to do it...and it was exactly what I wanted! I feel like Susan really took the time to get to know me and understand my vision, and because of that extra effort she was able to make it perfect. The quality and quantity of flowers vs the price is exceptional. Overall, I am thrilled to have worked with Scentsational events, their quality, pricing and work was amazing and you really feel like they genuinely care about you and your wedding!

Susan Songy at Scentsational Events did a wonderful job with our flowers. While I'm sure many people are highly particular about having exact flowers - and therefore I'm sure many florists are expecting to fulfill precise orders - I went the other direction. I wanted wildflowers, a complete explosion of color. We got married in a garden and so didn't need large displays of flowers (there were some to be seen everywhere you turned!), but we did need many bunches of loose stems to poke into the loose antique bottles and in accent places where I wanted a little something. What we got was perfect and Susan was very accommodating. She even managed to match the dress of my sister (my only bridesmaid) in the flowers used in the men's boutonnieres! Perfect!

We used Scentsational Events for our 8/5/11 wedding ceremony and reception, and we're so incredibly happy we did! Before we met with Susan I asked her for a few people to contact for reviews, and she provided me with 2 email addresses for people she'd recently provided flowers for. These 2 people responded very promptly and were clearly thrilled with the services they received. We met with Susan to go over our ideas (which we had very few of), and she let us look through the company's portfolio. We picked out several things that we really liked and came up with an idea. Our wedding was sunset color-themed, so our bouquets and centerpieces were very colorful! I was a little worried that the flower colors might look like a chaotic mess because there was so much going on, but Susan and her team far exceeded my highest expectations. Our guests raved over all of our flowers, from the bouquets/boutonnieres, the center swag on the ceremony arch, the cake decorations and the centerpieces. I really couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful, tasteful, elegant and vibrant. It was really perfect. She sent a picture of my bouquet to me the night before, and followed up post wedding with an email that included pictures of all the flowers they provided - very special to have. On top of that, Susan always responded very promptly to my many emails, made changes quickly and with no argument, and she always kept in mind the price point I wanted to stay within. She even reminded me that it was our wedding and our budget so we should absolutely make sure we had what we wanted. And we did! I very highly recommend Scentsational Events. You really can't go wrong here.

My husband and I got our wedding flowers from Scentsational Events for our July 10, 2011 wedding and they were fabulous. The flowers themselves were gorgeous, and the floral designs were great. Everything was exactly what I wanted, and what we had previously discussed-- colors, designs, sizes, etc. Many people at our wedding commented on our beautiful flowers, even the baker who set up our cake and cupcakes. Also, Scentsational Events was very resonably priced. It is hard to believe we got such wonderful wedding flowers for so little money. I am sure they are the best deal all around, but I never felt like we compromised quality. They were also very nice and efficient to work with as a vendor. I would highly recommend Susan and Eddie for any of your floral or decorating needs. For our wedding, she created exactly what my wife and I needed and was 100% able to be flexible within a budget. Additionally, we mentioned we wanted the whole venue to be pink... Not a problem. Eddie was on the job and bathed our reception in a pink glow.

The best recommendations come from when things go wrong. One of the boutoneers was put on wrong and broke. Instead of my bride to be going crazy, again, it was Susan and Eddie and their No Problem attitude to the rescue. Within 5 minutes, my groomsmen was flowered and ready for the wedding.

I can't recommend these two enough. Please use them!

Susan did a beautiful job with our wedding floral and put up with my constant constant changes. Her prices were great and she is very creative.

Susan was WONDERFUL to work with! We had a modest floral budget and she really made it work for our needs! She incorporated my ideas and colors well and I was totally pleased with all of our floral accents. Susan was responsive and had great ideas to offer when I couldn't figure out what I wanted! We had one idea set for our ceremony decor but she was well-equipped with backup/alternative options which were needed once it became apparent that our "Plan A" wouldn't work well on the windy pier where our ceremony took place. Susan even crafted a gorgeous ceiling piece to hang over the dance floor which we requested 2 weeks!! before the wedding! I would recommend Scentsational Events to anyone as I know that they provide a high level of service will meet the needs/expectations of any potential client!

Susan was a pleasure to work with and provided us with amazing, beautiful flowers for our wedding. We booked her services a little late in the game - only about two months out from the wedding. I had assumed we could never afford professional flowers and had been sort of planning on trying to throw something together myself without giving it much thought. As the wedding neared I realized I just wouldn't be able to do that and still relax and have fun at my wedding. We met with two florists and the other gave us a quote that was almost twice Susan's for basically the same types of flowers!

The centerpieces, bouquets and boutonierres she created for us were stunning. They truly exceeded our expectations. The arrangements looked expensive, lavish and elegant. There was nothing "budget" about it! I would highly recommend Susan and Scentsational Events to any other bride.

Susan was AMAZING and i am so glad i found her and Eddie. Finding a vendor online especially cragislist was not on my initial list of ways to find vendors however i am glad i did because it worked out perfectly. I met with Susan for an initial meeting with all my ideas. She told me what i could do and coudln't do within my budget. I liked Susan right away because she was honest about what she could and couldn't do for me. After the meeting, she put together an initial contract for my fiance and i. Talk about being profressional and flexible, Susan was great, because i changed my mind a million different times about my flower choice and she responded with a smile, either through a phone call and or email, she was always responsive! I had read their reviews and looked on their website however i was still not sure what to expect. Imgaine my surprise when i received the flowers on my wedding day...i was BEYOND HAPPY! The flowers were beautiful and i was teary-eyed when i saw them. The flowers were fresh and vibrant and brought a level of sophistication to our wedding day. The flowers were yellow roses and cymbidium orchids and they were sooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL! The flowers for the bridesmaids and the rest of my family was so well done. They also made some pew flowers for me which was able to be repurposed for the reception which was awesome. I wish i had asked them to do center pieces for me too! Eddie and Susan did such a great job on all the flowers it was beyond what i was expecting. My groom did not want a boutinniere but Susan and Eddie completely surprised me and they ended up having one for him and he was made even more handsome with the bout! I am thankful beyond measure and so glad that i met and worked with Eddie and Susan. The morning before my wedding, i called Susan in a panic and she said "don't worry your flowers are going to be beautiful" and IT WAS!!!! The price, service and flowers were all so worth it!

Susan Songy and her team are a virtually perfect source for flowers and atmosphere. She did our wedding this past Sunday. I got her from the web, never met her, communicated only by email and phone, made zillions of changes and even had to remove a certain flower the day before due to someone's allergies. Everything was even lovelier than expected. Her price is good and the team that set up the floral design in the room did an immaculate, gorgeous job. Ten stars for Scentsational Events

I cannot recommend Susan Songy and Scentsational Events highly enough. Feel free to read the rest of this review, but my advice is to call Susan and reserve your date now. She is the best there is.

I booked Susan last minute because I had thought of DIYing my flowers or ordering through Costco. The florists I'd talked to all wanted to charge astronomical prices and were more interested in telling me what flowers I should have than listening to what I wanted. Susan allowed me to have flowers I never dreamed I could have on my budget, and made my wedding look much more expensive than it actually was (which I think is about the highest compliment a budget bride can give a vendor).

Susan was extremely easy to deal with. She was responsive, listened to what I had to say, and used her expertise to improve on my ideas, rather than trying to replace them. She was more than willing to work within my budget and explained clearly what substitutions could be made to lower the prices of centerpieces etc. She thought of ways to repurpose our ceremony flowers for the reception and even stayed to make sure everything was repurposed correctly. Our aisle pomanders became head table centerpieces, the bridesmaid bouquets adorned the cake and head tables, etc. We got double our money for only the cost of the additional vases needed.

The flowers themselves were gorgeous. I honestly never thought I could have such unique and beautiful arrangements on my budget, so I was overjoyed when I saw how stunning the bouquets were. When we got to the reception, I couldn't believe how lush and huge the centerpieces were. Susan found gorgeous compote dishes for the centerpieces, and our guests were thrilled to take them home. Best of all, there were flowers everywhere I looked. Susan used extra flowers from my order to place small arrangements at the bar, in the restrooms, etc. It was a wonderful surprise that made me feel even more that I had gotten my money's worth (and a lot more).

Scentsational Events exceeded my expectations in every way. If you want gorgeous, magazine-worthy flowers at a fraction of the cost other florists will quote you, book Scentsational Events ASAP!

She was extremely flexible and worked with me until we got everything just right, and the prices couldn't be beat! I couldn't get over how beautiful the bouquets and centerpieces were. Scentsational events did a spectacular job for us at our wedding this month. Susan really listened to what I was looking for and also took creative liberty to achieve that goal. The result was absolutely perfect. Their prices are unbeatable, and they are definitely willing to work with you to achieve whatever look you are going for. Susan was accessible to me when I needed her, and I would absolutely recommend Scentsational events to anyone in need of floral or event design services.

Where do I even start.... the star ratings don't go high enough - how about a 10 out of 5 for every single one of those categories. I'm not remotely joking.

I was in charge of planning a Bengali ceremony and reception for my brother's intercultural wedding weekend, which took place on a Sunday in Gettysburg, PA.

Our initial floral plans fell through and about 7 weeks before the 300ish guest wedding, I happened to come across their site on craigslist, was intrigued by their prices, and emailed an inquiry. Susan immediately responded, and we set up plans to meet for a consultation. I wasn't particularly picky about the arrangements - I just wanted something that went with the color scheme, made use of the materials previously purchased, and was interested in a few types of flowers. We were on a budget and were trying to save money by using a "freelance" florist. Many of the freelance florists we had met - had good ideas, but were just not impressive/business savvy enough for me to fully trust. This looked more like a proper floral/event shop, but I decided to give it a shot anyway considering the clearly competitive prices on their website.

Susan immediately impressed me by anticipating the feel of what we were going for as well as our cultural expectation, being upfront about their intriguing start up story and business/marketing strategy, and quickly providing the most competitive quote I had been offered, with the highest quality flowers listed in any of those quotes. The other higher quotes, used inexpensive "substitutions" for the typically lux flowers listed in the quote from Scentsational Events. I had mentally signed the contract before I had even left our meeting.

I pushed the limit of when they had to order the flowers because I had to update our contract for additional floral needs about a month before the wedding - again, extremely flexible and "got it" right away.

In all the hoopla of this wedding and concerns over our other vendors - I had all but forgotten about the florist; not an issue - because I was confident in their ability based on the level of professionalism and creativity already exhibited. They showed up on the morning of, set everything up, and absolutely DAZZLED everyone.

The flowers, by themselves, immediately elevated the wedding from 'above average considering the masses, the best bang for not the biggest budget, gets the job done w/o people judging us too much for it' to beyond elegant, ornate, and creatively customized. I gave them the creative license for this, and boy did they ever deliver. I'm talking jaw-dropping fabulous. They had gone above and beyond - made a few upgrades on their own to facilitate their creative vision. EVERYONE sang the praises of the lush, abundant, thoughtfully prepared, novel arrangements. I keep getting emails mentioning the "spectacular," "gorgeous," "awesome," "bad-freaking-ass (pardon my french lol)", and "phenomenal" arrangements.

I'll be honest - I repeatedly told people "Um, I don't think we paid enough for this... and/or maybe I didn't read the rest of the contract? I hope we don't have another payment due...?"

Looking at the old offers from competing florists - and what we could have had at higher prices - just makes me laugh now.

I am so incredibly grateful to Scentsational Events for helping make my brother's wedding an even more memorable event. As soon as I have pictures, I'll send them to Susan for their website.

But seriously, if you can book this fantastic family owned and operated business to upgrade your wedding at least a notch or two, definitely do so! You will not be disappointed!

Selecting flowers was harder than I'd thought it would be but, once again my amazing wedding planner came to my rescue! We were given a list of florists to contact and again only had to meet with one. Myself & my MOH went to meet with the owner, Susan Songy not knowing what to expect to get accomplished because I had absolutely no clue what flowers to pick. All I knew was my bouquet had to be fuchsia & ivory. Once Susan had shown me every shade of pink flower that she had, I saw the photo of a brides bouquet that Susan created a few weeks earlier & my heart was set on needing that bouquet as the final puzzle piece. Every flower arrangement that Susan & her staff created was absolutely breath taking. As a gift to me, Susan made a special memorial corsage as a dedication to my mom that rested in the seat that she would have held of she were still with us. She also placed a small personal sized picture of my mom on my bouquet handle surrounded by fuchsia & ivory lace wrapped around it. The finishing touch was the Swarovski crystals that were perfectly placed throughout the handle as well as the actual bouquet. Each of the 12 bouquets that were made were unique & beautiful. Everything was beyond perfect...100% recommend

The flowers were absolutely amazing. Susan took time to just look through photos and listen to what we wanted but also told us what would work for the price we wanted and the time of year of our wedding. Excellent job of back and forth communication. End result was absolutely beautiful!

I did not have a clear vision for my wedding flowers simply because I don't love flowers. We were going for a peach theme. Susan got peaches and buckets and peach flowers and created the most beautiful centerpieces for our wedding. The peaches made the room smell wonderful too and guests could have a healthy dessert too! Susan also reused our centerpieces for the ceremony as well to save on cost. Everything was beautiful and at a great price! Susan was awesome!

It was such a pleasure working with Susan and Scentsational Events! She took the time to really listen to what we wanted and to make suggestions we were happy with. When she sensed that I couldn't quite picture things, she also sent pictures of her ideas and gave me time to change my mind if I needed to. I didn't :-) What she put together was amazing and we're still receiving compliments about gorgeous, brightly colored and beautifully arranged flowers! Susan did a wonderful job providing great flowers for our low floral budget. She had lots of great suggestions to get more bang for our buck, like moving ceremony arrangements to the reception room and putting the bridesmaids' bouquets in vases to decorate the cake table. We had the ceremony at the hotel and I was worried it would look too stark and business-like. I picked ScentSational Events because of the great ceremony floral pictures on the website and they did not disappoint. My only complaint is that we had a little email trouble early on (due to some sort of server error) but we got that ironed out in the end.

My flowers, decor and floral arrangements were simply amazing! The decor of the flowers and arch helped create a magical atmosphere for my wedding. Susan was very easy to work with and very accomodating.
