They helped us with our day of time line and details that we didn't even know we needed to decide on! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our wedding DJ, Keenan, did a great job DJing our wedding. He was very down to earth and fun to work with. We had a little snag with our processional song during the ceremony because the CD wouldn't play in the humidity, so after an awkward pause Keenan subbed in the bridal march. He explained the problem later, which was completely on their end since they made the CD and used their own equipment, but at that point it didn't really matter. Hopefully the company will rectify that problem. I did not get to meet our DJ before hand, and assumed Chris would be our DJ since that's who I talked to on the phone. That's the only thing I would have changed.

Schaffer Sound provided me with the absoute perfect DJ for my wedding. They're definitely pros at this and I completely believe their claim that a DJ needs to do something like 200 weddings as an assistant before they're sent off on their own. Everything ran incredibly smoothly, from the cocktail hour to the introductions and first dance. He kept everything moving through the scheduled events like speeches and cake cutting and kept the music at an appropriate level throughout dinner. He also kept to the "Do not play" list (no YMCA at this party) and was willing to take requests when some of the older folk wanted to get Motown going. A particularly special moment for me was when he played Pictures of You - The Cure. He came out on to the floor when it started and mentioned that it was a longer song. I told him to feel free to fade it out about halfway through. Well, this is a particularly special song for myself and my husband. So when all the other guests had left us to our "weird goth rock" and it was just the two of us dancing, he kept it going for the entire song. We call it our "second dance". What amazes me is that he then got everyone dancing again almost instantly. Really could not imagine someone who would be better at reading a crowd. Don't waste your time with other DJs. These guys are the end of the line.

We had no clue about anything. They took care of it all. They kept our wedding guest dancing all nite. We were so happy we used them and you will be too.

We had a wonderful DJ. He play everything I requested and even extras in the same style. He was great with our kids(twin 2 year olds) and the other kids at the wedding. I requested a few songs and he said no problem played the first one the floor was empty so I told him to just get everyone back on the dance floor by the next song everyone was back out there! I can not say enough good things about schaffer sound!

Our DJ did a fantastic job. He was always there if we needed him to play anything or change anything. Even the customer service reps were helpful with the planning. I really felt like they had our wedding at heart, which made me feel really good because it was one thing I had confidence in to not have to worry on that day.

Our DJ from Schaffer Sounds was awesome! The DJ that was supposed to play at our reception was unable to attend but the DJ that filled in was great! He played mostly every song from our play list. The DJ was very fun and energetic. We had a great time and everyone spent a majority of the reception on the dance floor!

Our son and DIL had their weddding on Aug 13, 2011 @ the Spring Hill Manor in Ivyland,PA. The DJ, Adam, was terrific andoutstanding,as well as professional !!! His mix of songs ~ before dinner, during dinner and the entire evening were fabulous. The dance floor was packed all night long! Ages ranged from 2 yrs old to 87 years old. In my family we always say there are three most important things in a wedding, the food- the booze and the music. Schaffer Sound really knocked the music out of the park! We have a lot of interests when it comes to music and Schaffer Sound really helped capture our favorites during both the cocktail and the ceremony! They didn't even flinch when I gave them a long list of "suggestions" of songs. In fact, Chris stated that he knew exactly what DJ to send us, and what style of music would best suit us. We were very happy with Chris Romanelli for our DJ at our 7/8 wedding. He was very professional, came up with tons of suggestions, and used his expertise in music to figure out what the crowd at our wedding liked. Several guests at our wedding commented on how great of a DJ he is- he met all of our requests and then some! We would highly recommend him for any event where you want to have a great time!!!

Schaffer was the best! We had a intimate wedding with 75 guests, but they treated us like V.I.P's throughout the whole process. The music was so important, and they NAILED it. We wanted music for everyone, a little Motown, Michael Jackson, and the music from today! To see my mom dancing to "Dynamite" and Lady Gaga made my day. Schaffer took the time to find out what we wanted, and they didn't tell us we had to do, that made me so at ease! We have been at other weddings and the DJ looked shoddy and their stuff looked old and ratty, the music was good the sound quality wasn't that great. We recently got married in July at the Mendenhall Inn and Chris was our DJ from Schaffer Sound. I can not say enough about how awesome Chris was and how happy we are we used Schaffer Sound for our wedding. We had 175 people and everyone was on the dance floor all night having a blast. Words cant describe how Chris and the Shaffer Sound team made our wedding dreams come true. Walking into our reception room literally took our breathe away with the beautiful lightning. It was the most amazing thing we have ever seen. Not only was the lightning amazing but the music that was played couldn't be any more perfect! The dance floor was never empty! We cant Thank Chris and the Shaffer Sound team enough!!!

My wife and I wanted to thank Pat for the nice job he did as DJ at our wedding and Chris for all his help prior to the event. Everyone loved the music as we knew they would and Pat kept them dancing until the end. We will be sure to call on Shaffer Sound again the next time we need a DJ. The DJ, Kevin, was the only disappointing part of our wedding. We still had a great wedding, and I don't think the guests noticed anything, so all's well that ends well. But still.First of all, the letters say they will call about 10 days before the wedding, and nobody called. We had to call them. Our DJ, Kevin, was really nice, and had a good sense of humor. He also performed his introduction duties properly. However, I'm not sure he read our preferences lists. For starters, he played a song by an artist that was on our "Do Not Play" list. Also, for cocktail hour, we had wanted jazz and had suggested Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Dave Brubeck, etc, but instead we got light modern rock like Jason Mraz. Again, not a party killer, and nobody else noticed, but considering we had tried to make this a very personal wedding in which our tastes were reflected, it was disappointing. Likewise with starting the dance set with a disco song... we didn't even get to all of the good dance songs on our "must play" list (which is ok because dinner went longer than we'd thought), but I still felt like many of our *requested* dance songs could have kicked off the dance section. That said, the actual dance portion was full of a lot of our requested songs, and was really fun. But there was one sour note toward the end... I asked Kevin to stall for time (by playing a song) while I asked the reception manager if we could extend the party another hour... but then Kevin played our last song! So we wrapped up the party! Still good to end on a high note, I guess, but it just seemed like another miscommunication.

The guys at Schaffer Sound are awesome! Always very polite and return phone calls or emails in a timely manner. We are still getting texts and phone calls 2 weeks later about how FUN our wedding was. I credit Chris and Schaffer Sound for keeping the fun going all night!! Thanks for an awesome night! :)

Schaffer Sound did a great job for my wedding. They were perfectly in our price range and asked us a lot of questions so that they could play music we wanted. I was really happy that we chose them.

They were great. The company was very accommodating, even as I made changes to the song selection a few days before the wedding. The DJ got everyone on the dance floor and was very entertaining. Many guests commented that this was one of the best DJ's they've seen at a wedding. A pleasure to work with.

We absolutely believe that a DJ can make or break your wedding. It was extremely important to use to find the perfect DJ and as soon as we met with Chris and Mike, we knew we found the one! We couldn't be happier about our decision to use Schaffer Sound! We worked with Chris to organize the details and he was so professional, friendly, and beyond flexible. Chris Romanelli did an excellent job of playing so many of the songs from our preferred list throughout the evening and what he added was perfecty. He also did a great job with the selection and timing of the Greek music we danced to. So happy with our choice!

Schaffer Sound just did my wedding this past Saturday and it was amazing!! I had so many of my guests tell me it was the best wedding they had been to. The music was great, they played everything I asked for and more. At one point during the week, Chris, our DJ, couldn't find a song that I wanted to be played and he called me right away with his concern. I thought this was great; we eventually found the song together, but he could have easily swept it under the carpet and just not played the song. I wanted one main thing for my reception and that was to get as many people on the dance floor as possible, and this is just what Chris did! I had someone say that at one point when they looked around the hall, there was not a sole sitting in their seats!! I had a great wedding, and I would recommend Schaffer Sound to anyone!!!

Dave Schaffer did a terrific job as my wedding DJ! I received so many compliments on the music. During a lot of weddings I have been to things start to die down and the dance floor starts to clear a bit as it's getting late and the reception draws to a close but not at my wedding. Everyone was having a great time and the dance floor was packed until the very end! I even extended the reception a half an hour because I could not bare to have it end when everyone was enjoying the music so much and filling up the dance floor! Dave was so accommodating and had no problem at all staying later after the midnight end time! I would highly recommend Schaffer sound!

The service we received from Shaffer Sound was outstanding. Dennis was our DJ and would couldn't have asked for a more professional DJ. We had some unusual requests which he took care of for us. My sister used Schaffer Sound 13 years ago so when it came to be my turn, I went right back to them. They responded to my inquiry immediately and sent me a well stocked package with a contract to fill out on my time. Everything was so well organized that I really felt well taken care of. They contacted me 2 weeks prior to the wedding to go over our fact & music sheets and they were extremely professional and genuinely interested in our event. At the actual reception our DJ was fabulous! He played all but 1 song from my must play & secondary list and he was actually upset he couldn't get to it! He had the right temperament for our group and had us on the dance floor from the minute it opened to the end of the last song. I would definitely recommend Schaffer Sound to anyone!

Our DJ kept the party going, stuck to the timeline, observed our specific requests, and worked very well with our other vendors.

We were very particular in selecting our DJ, because we wanted a DJ that would play our chosen genres of music, have a good knowledge of Latin music to be able to blend in, and would not talk/dance or "perform" otherwise. We got exactly what we wanted with Schaffer Sound Productions! Our dance floor was packed all night and the selection of music matched our vision exactly! The only "oops" of the night was that he forgot to announce our flower girl, and kind of tacked her on after we were announced. Slightly annoying at the time, but it is really funny on our wedding video! I would definitely recommend to all brides!

We booked Schaffer after hearing them at my cousin's wedding in 2006. We requested the same DJ, Mike, but are pretty sure we got a different Mike, which was disappointing. However, the Mike we did get played a great set of music and read the crowd very well. Our guests were not only dancing all night long, but they also seemed happy with how Mike handled their requests for songs. Schaffer worked with us on prices and definitely delivered in quality that day

AWESOME! Dave is the best DJ! Everything was perfect and he is so nice to work with. Everyone, and I mean guests of all ages, were on the dance floor all night. So many people have told me they have never been to a wedding where there was so many people dancing. He can really read a crowd and played a great mix of music. This company also had the best prices around, you can't beat it!

Dave Schaffer was the DJ at my wedding on July 24, 2010 and my husband and I could not have been happier with his services! Although he provided us with a list to fill out of what songs we wanted to hear and didn't want to hear, we pretty much left the music selections up to him and couldn't have been happier with his selections! He was always easy to get in touch with, was dressed professional and on-time the day of the wedding, kept the energy level up and the dance floor moving, and we felt comfortable with him from start to finish! We would certainly book him and Schaffer Sound Disc Jockey's for future events, and absolutely recommend him to our friends!

Schaffer Sound Productions provided us with a great DJ for our wedding. He was very articulate and engaging. My only complaint would be that he did not play the music we requested to be played during our cocktail hour. Otherwise, he played mostly all of the music we requested. I would have to say that Schaffer Sound Productions is very affordable and professional. I would definitely recommend them to future brides.

Schaffer was so easy to work with and the DJ that they provided was excellent. Due to an unforseen accident before the ceremony, the groom's grandmother got hurt and was not able to walk in with the bridal party or do the grandmother/son dance we had planned. The dj went out of his way to honor her during the announcements and during the dance. Rather than ignore the dance segment, the dj played the song they were going to dance to as the groom sat with his grandmom. There wasn't a dry eye in the place! He was very flexible and took several requests. He also went out of his way to check with me when a request was made that he was unsure of. I had a fantastic time and everyone enjoyed the music. Overall we werent disapointed. Had a few major concerns though. We chose Dave because he did a wedding for a relative and he was awesome. No corny games, just a straight up legit DJ. The day of our wedding they sent one of his collegues who turned out to be good. But he asked me, as the reception is about to start, if it was ok that they switched. Do I have a choice? Would have been respectful to be given the heads up instead of forced into it. His replacement ended up being just like Dave so I wasnt upset at the switch...just how it was handledA few days before the wedding I got a call from Schaffer sound. They had questions because I wanted each bridal party pair to be introduced to the reception to a different song. The guy told me I would have to make my own CD if I wanted that. Really?? Since I was already stressed beyond belief, I didnt argue and I just did it. A few days before my wedding I am spending time downloading songs and burning a CD. Something that still upsets me.The DJ overall was really good. He was just like Dave in the fact that he was very professional and didnt try to steal the show like a lot of DJ's. I was disapointed that he played very few of the songs we selected. We had spent a lot of time picking songs because they sent us a form to fill out. We had picked sentimental songs to be played during dinner that meant alot to us as a couple. He asked if it was ok if he changed some up to slow the tempo down and I said sure. But he ended up playing few if any of our songs durring dinner. He picked great songs to dance to. He also did a good job managing the speeches and keeping them from going too long which I am sure is tough for a DJ to do. Overall this is a very solid DJ group. They could probably do the corny stuff if you wanted them too but I like the classy professional DJ that isnt the center of attention the whole night and they do this as well as any DJ I have ever seen. Without the few major issues above, they easily get 5 stars. I would absolutely use them again. I would just be sure not to let these issues happen again.

We chose Schaffer Sound to be our DJ for our wedding. They were great, the dance floor was packed all night with both our young friends and older relatives. The sound was good, DJ was professional and the price was right!

I was extremely happy with the DJ, there were a few issues with getting our song ready for the first dance but overrall there were no problems. He played the songs that were requested and even our older guests enjoyed the music selections. I think he did a terrific job. I would recommend to anyone.

Our DJ was really great. He listened to everything we wanted/didn't want and he kept people on the dance floor all night long. The only downside was that we didn't know exactly who was going to be at our wedding until about 10 days before. Also the music went off for about 30 seconds during dinner. I think someone may have tripped on a cord but I never actually found out what happened. They are a great value for your money. We had them DJ the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and they were cheaper than many other DJs for just the reception. I would definitely go with them again.

Dave was our DJ and he did a GREAT job. He ran the entire reception and checked in with us periodically throughout the evening to see if we needed anything. He played all the songs we requested and did a great job coming up with songs that we liked based on our few suggestions. He was very personable and could read the crowd to keep the party going. Schaffer's prices were the lowest we found and were well worth their cost!

We chose Schaffer Sounds because of the glowing reviews we read, and because of the great price they offered us to DJ our ceremony and reception for our wedding. In the end, they came in cheaper than any of the other DJs in the area for our given date.Working with them was really easy as they were very easy to contact via email and phone, and we were even able to stop in the office a few times when we needed to. They provided us with lists of suggested songs for the different times of the evening (father/daughter dance, bridal party entrance, etc.), and were able to get us all of the music we wanted/requested (even though we didn’t submit the music forms until 3 days before the wedding)!The only thing that somewhat surprised us (although it did not end up being a bad thing) is that when we went in for our meeting, we met with a DJ and at that time he told us he would be the person who would DJ our wedding. All of our email contact, and office contact was with him. However, on our wedding day another DJ (whom we had never met) approached us to ask us a few questions. My husband and I were a little confused at first because we did not realize he was our DJ as he was not the person we met with/hired and no one contacted us to tell us an alternate DJ would be arriving. While this did not end up being a bad thing at all, as the DJ was great, and was everything we hoped for…it did catch us off guard. The DJ who did arrive was fantastic, knew everything about our wedding, and read the crowd to figure out exactly what to play and when. They did a fantastic job, and in the end we were very happy with their performance.

The DJ was the very last thing that I had to book. After striking out with most companies, I came upon Shaffer Sound Productions. They were really quick with responding and luckily were available on our day! I knew that I wanted specific songs played and were happy to find out they were able to accomodate all of my song choices! They even did our ceremony music and cocktail hour which were perfect as well! The dancefloor was full during the reception and everyone had such an amazing time! I've gotten many compliments about the DJ and music selection! I will definitely be referring Shaffer Sounds to everyone that I know!

Our wedding was exactly the lovely environment we envisioned thanks to Chris and Schaffer Sound. We give the highest compliments to Chris (et al) at Schaffer; he did a beautiful job playing the songs we requested while also filling in with songs that were perfectly matched and balanced to the ones we wanted. He respected our wishes to have slightly quieter music accompaniment which garnered many "thank you's" from our guests who travelled far and wide to have the chance to chat and catch up with family and not compete with a loud concert atmosphere. Chris himself was very punctual, organized, thorough, and a terrific presenter.

Dave was my DJ for my wedding and it was absolutely amazing! He made my wedding! I was 34 when I finally tied the knot and wanted everything perfect. Schaffer Sound Productions did a fantastic job at our wedding reception. The vast library of music gave us choices of all our favorite kinds of music. Our guests, as well as my husband and I, spent the entire night on the dance floor. They are professional and really did a wonderful job!

Schaffer Sounds does an amazing job and listens to what you want for your wedding. My guests had so much fun! They are professional and very attentive. They are also excellent with returning calls and answering emails which is always important as you get closer to your wedding day.

The DJ was the only stress we had the day of the wedding. Though my husband had sent several emails with the details of setup, my husband was the one that had to point out problems several times. The DJ also had to have employees from other vendors help him set up properly. Though it should have occured to us, I wish the company had asked about microphones for the ceremony. Afterwards, we realized that most of our guests were not able to hear the ceremony. Also, when a couple of friends requested a song during the ceremony (not from our "No play list") he rudely refused.Overall, everything was okay... But not as good as I would have liked.

He was my saving grace at our wedding. With all the little things that went wrong dave schaffer kept it going smoothling. He had total control over everything. They have been great to deal with. My brother used them at his wedding and my father at his Holiday Party. Everyone loved them and I was able to request the same person that my brother had for his reception! I'm looking forward to having them!

We went with Schaffer Sound and could not have been more pleased. Although this is not the way they normally do business, Dave assured me that we would have the dj of our choice and he did not disappoint. Schaeffer was very organized when requesting information from me for our music list. Our DJ was fabulous with playing what we requested but also working in requests from our guests. My new stepson wanted to do a dance for everyone and he worked it in for him. It was a crowd hit!! They did great!

Music can make or break the party, and I have been to too many weddings that were broken by unsatisfactory DJs. I was very meticulous in my search for a DJ, but Schaffer Sounds quickly became a clear frontrunner. They promptly responded to my barrage of emails and were perfectly accommodating of my special requests. On the big day our DJ, Kevin, was subtle and professional. We got tons of compliments on both his demeanor and his selections. It was clear that he kept our musical taste in mind. Our party rocked, and I definitely owe that to Schaffer Sounds. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We had a great experience from the very beginning with Schaffer Sounds. We were able to discuss all of our questions/concerns and musical choices over the phone which was incredibly convenient. Even when we made some last minute changes, all of our updates were incorporated into the evening at exactly the right time. Schaffer Sounds was everything I had heard and expected them to be. The honored my requests and made the night as fun as it could be. Kept the dance floor packed and worked well with some off the cuff and different requests I had dreamed up for the night. I can't thank them enough for make the night wonderful.

Our DJ was a lot of fun, kept the reception going, and played the best music during cocktail hour & dinner. During our reception, we lost power for about an hour, and he didn't have a back-up generator for power, so he didn't have much to do. But because we lost power, he stayed for an extra half hour after we were supposed to finish, free of charge since it was a natural disaster that caused the power outage. My only negative comment would be that he showed up in a t-shirt and jeans to set up the equipment, which was in the back of the same room as our ceremony (since the ceremony was moved indoors). He did not look very professional during set-up just before the ceremony, while our guests were coming in for the ceremony. He played all of the music that we had requested, and picked some very complementary music in between our requests. He was a lot of fun and kept the guests having fun too!2 suggestions - 1) have a back-up generator in cases of severely inclement weather (such as a hurricane or tropical storm); 2) show up dressed a little more professionally.

The DJ was so much fun. They gave us exactly what we asked for, and the music fit us perfectly.

Schaffer Sound were the only DJ's I considered bor my wedding. Their reputation is phenomenal in the Philadelphia area and they were extremely professional!

Simply the best. I've seen Schaffer Sound at many different weddings, and they always are top notch. I've also seen a few other companies, and they just don't measure up. I didn't consider any other DJ for my own wedding, and they again were fantastic. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Schaffer Sound Productions was AMAZING! I booked them on the recommendation of my friend, without even hearing them, because she had such wonderful things to say. She was right. We had a fantastic party with them. Not to mention their attention to details and service prior to the wedding day. The price was great and if you can afford to add the full lighting package, definitely go for it! It was great!

Schaffer Sound did a great job on music. The DJ wasn't all that nice. But his appearence was nice, and he played all the music we requested and played what others requested.

I loved this DJ company. I had heard great things abou them while planning my wedding. I actualyl had used them back in the day for my 21st birthday party too. The dj did a fabulous job and had the people on the floor the ENTIRE night. He followed our must play list exactly and our do not play list. The only complaint I would have, is that I booked them over a year before my wedding and put in a request for a specific DJ and he was not the dJ i received. I knew this before the day of the wedding, but it still sort of bothered me. THe dj Kevin, did a great job though. My dad was worried because he would prefer a band and didn't really like my music selections, but thought he did great.

Schaffer Sound DJ'd my wedding and they did a fantastic job! The dance floor was never empty! Our DJ was professional and courteous. He kept everything flowing nicely and I would reccommend them without a doubt.

Schaffer Sounds did a great job with the music for our wedding. They were very flexible and organized. The dj did very well with the crowd. The only thing I was disapointed with is they did not review the order of which the dances were going to be done. I had requested certain music for walking in and they played something completely different, and never informed me whether or not they were missing the music. Other then those minor details everything went well.

The only complaint I have is that the DJs did not show up until a half hour before the cocktail hour was supposed to start. I was told they would be there 2 hours before to set up. The customer service here is pretty good. They go over any needs that you may have about a week before the wedding.

We spent a little more than we had planned for our dj, because it was really important to us to have someone that would play the type of music we wanted. I loathe typical wedding music and really wanted to hear the music that we liked. Joe did a great job playing our music and still infusing music that got everyone up dancing. They were highly recommended by a co-worker and I see why. I loved their request forms and information forms.

Everything about Schaffer is professional. The DJ took care of everything and was effortless. When the catering staff tried to get him to play only slow songs to try to get people to leave toward the end of the night, he refused stating that he had plenty of upbeat music on his play list and that he was paid to play all night and would. He was loyal to us who hired him and was courteous but would not be bullied. I attended weddings with other DJs from Schaffer and they were all fabulous! You will not have to worry if you hire Schaffer. A++++

Schaffer was great - from planning our song lists, to easing my stress as the day approached. They were patient, responsive, and most of all, extremely friendly. The DJ provided on the day of was stellar - he did everything we asked of him, pronounced all the names correctly during announcements, and kept EVERYONE on the dance floor all night - young and old. They truly made the party - and we were thrilled.

To this day, people comment to me about my DJ...how fun he was, how great the selection, and how the volume didn't blow out your ear drums. I felt I wasn't rushed at all during the "traditional" portions of the reception. He would ask me when I wanted to do certain dances, and if I wasn't ready for it, he waited until I was. The songs played were exactly what I picked from my list, and there was no electric slide, which was quite important to me. They were great.

Schaffer Sound did an excellent job at our wedding. We had a unique set-up with dinner outside, they brought extra speakers to set up outside & inside. The music was great, they played everything I asked and the DJ (Joe) was so nice. I'd recommend them!

Words can not describe the amazing experience Schaffer sound provided for my wedding. Not only did Dave do a great job coordinating with the venue on a seamless reception, but even now 3 years later I am still hearing people rave about how much fun they had our wedding. I've been to dozens of weddings in my life and I have never seen a dance floor packed for 3 full hours. Dave knew not only what songs to play, but was great with timing to keep everyone engaged from our 20something friends up to and including our Grandparents in their 80's. I happily recommend Schaffer sound to everyone I know looking for a great DJ.

The DJ was pretty standard. He came, played a good variety of songs...but seemed to be a little rusty with some of the leadership roles a DJ should play during the reception. He started off strong...but kind of faded out towards the end. He also wasn't very responsive to on site song requests...which maybe he was using his best judgement...or he just didn't have the music on hand. But, overall, it was a good experience...because really its the people that set the atmosphere.
