We met Scott at my sister's wedding and we really liked working with him. Then her pictures came out amazing so he was the first vendor we booked after we picked a date. Scott was by far our favorite vendor throughout the whole process. He was so helpful! He scouted the locations for our engagement pictures and for our wedding photos before hand so he knew exactly where the best shots would be. My husband hates taking pictures, and made faces frequently, but Scott was really understanding and patient. When I wanted to take a picture with my 50 member extended family on the day of the wedding, he made it happen and somehow got pictures where everyone was smiling!

The result was also amazing. The photos were beautiful for both our engagement pictures and wedding. He put up the photos on a website nicely organized in folders and they were easy and free to download for our family and friends. People kept telling us that we looked like models and that our photos looked like they were from wedding magazines!

If you want to have absolutely beautiful photos and a photographer who makes your wedding day move very smoothly, you should definitely consider Scott.

We have known Scott for several years now. To start he is a great friend and such a good guy. We can vouch for his character, dedication and work ethic being above reproach. His personality is so perfect for photography. He is genuine, honest, and is not afraid to try anything to get the perfect shot. As for our specific experience with him shooting our wedding, we could not be happier. First of all he met with us in LA and drove around with us to find the perfect place to take bridals. Then, we flew him out to Utah to photograph our wedding even though he had to be very flexible with the dates. He takes his craft very seriously. He prepares at least a day in advance for the event and is absolutely professional. He carries multiple cameras and while he doesn't get in the way of the flow of the event, he somehow finds a way to get every shot multiple times. He was friendly and outgoing, and worked excellently with all the family/relatives in order to get the shots. The results are very telling - our pictures look professional and amazing. Somehow everyone looks good, and the colors/lighting are amazing. Not only would we recommend Scott to others, our family has already used him in two weddings and plan to use him in every future wedding.

Scott met and exceeded my expectations. Scott worked our wedding solo and you would never know it from the photos. It seemed as there were six of him. We have pictures from every angle at almost all moments. Scott was prepared and professional. We had small children in our wedding and yet they were smiling and happy in every picture, even at the end of the day when we went to the park. Scott did our wedding in a small town he was not very familiar with, in his spare time he got a map scoped out the location of the church, reception, and park to plan shots so that our wedding day would be as smooth as possible. In addition to being very prepared, Scott is very talented. My husband is very camera shy and I was very concerned that our wedding pictures would not be up to par because he would not cooperate. Scott made him feel very comfortable and was also keen about catching candid pictures where my husband looks wonderful. Our wedding pictures are the best pictures we have ever taken together. Even the guests at the wedding commented that they had never seen a photographer work so hard and be so friendly. His journalistic style was even more important to me, the bride, after the wedding because I was able to relive a day that went by too fast. I would recommend Scott for your special day, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I met Scott at a friend's wedding and were impressed on how many camreas he was carrying and how he always seemed to be at the right moment at the right time. at the same time he was really fun to be around and super professional when it came to group pictures and requiring people to get together. we contacted him for OUR wedding with a special idea for engagement pictures. he was really professional and super willing to go out of his way to make the engagement shoot and the wedding day super memorable. during the engagement shoot it was apparent that he had an amazing eye for artistic shots and looking at the pictures afterwards it definately showed. during the wedding he again came through and captured EVERY single moment that you could imagine. if there was something worth a picture....he was there. i definately recomend Scott to anybody looking for a photographer. he is super professional and his work is OUTSTANDING.....and he'll also become a great friend.

Coming from the East Coast to have an engagement ceremony in Northern California posed many challenges. One of these challenges was to find an excellent photographer. After spending days on the web searching for a photographer and viewing countless galleries, I decided to have Scott take pictures at our engagement ceremony. He was very honest and straightforward, unlike the other photographers I spoke with who had interesting pricing schemes. The minute I saw Scott at the event, I was confident he was going to do an excellent job. He had three cameras strapped around him and he took pictures non-stop throughout the evening. He took over 4,000 pictures during the two-day ceremony. Everybody was impressed with the quality of images. He has a story telling photographic style that captures every special moment. We were so happy with the engagement photographs that we asked him to shoot our wedding (and covered his travel expenses). Scott is an exceptional photographer that defines the moment. He is very dedicated, friendly, and humble. He is a professional that follows through with his commitments. My in-laws love Scott and they ensure their relatives hire Scott for their events. We booked Scott for both an engagement shoot and our wedding. From beginning to end Scott was genuinely excited about photography, he made sure we were happy, and, on several occasions, went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Everyone we've spoken with from the wedding loved Scott - one comment from my aunt was that it seemed like he was always around, but never in the way.

My wife and I love the photos. He took plenty of posed shots, but the candids are my favorites. He had a knack for capturing our guests - from a shot of my cousin slipping away from all the noise for a cigarette, to my college friend, several drinks into the night and without jacket and tie, dancing with my aunt. Since that day is already a blur, it's these candid shots that I'll turn to in the decades to come.

Scott was, by far, our absolute favorite vendor throughout our entire planning process! He was friendly, professional, fun and soooo easy to work with. I really felt like he was just as excited for our wedding as we were! We met for a consultation at a coffee shop and right away Scott seemed like an old friend- he was so genuine and down to earth. He didn't try to "sell" himself, but instead let his photography speak for itself- and it did! It was all beautiful and as soon as we (my soon to be hubby and I) got in the car, we both agreed Scott would photograph our wedding. From that point on he was nothing but an absolute pleasure to work with. Responsive to communication, creative in his suggestions and fun loving in his attitude, Scott is the best! The day of our wedding Scott was unbelievable- he was literally everywhere. At least 10 guests commented on his hard-work and great presence. He sent us DVDs of our pictures since my hubby is a designer and wants to do our album and he doesn't mark up prints- they are super affordable too! All around amazing!

We found Scott through the Wedding Photojournalism Association and chose him to shoot our wedding based on the style and professionalism of his photos. We had decided not to hire a videographer so a lot was riding on the outcome of our pictures. What we ended up with far surpassed our expectations. Scott's photos of our wedding told a story and he managed to capture all the important moments as well as the private moments that often go unnoticed. He stayed from beginning to end and even arrived a day early to scout out the location. If you want a professional experience with a true artist go with Scott.

The search for a great photographer is daunting task. My husband and I wanted someone professional, easy to work with, reasonably priced, and whose style is photojournalistic. Scott is all of these things. He has no ego and is extremely flexible. Upon meeting him, you will feel at ease. You'll trust him and you know he'll do a great job documenting your wedding.

This was all so much appreciated after countless calls to photographers who make demands up front (i.e. snooty photogs who are only available for certain hours and each hour is this amount more money, or they offer to send assistant, or they make you wait a year to get the cd of your pics etc).

Scott worked really hard to get great shots without being at all obtrusive. He's a genuine kind person with a calm demeanor and steady hand. He'll be one of your favorite vendors. After the wedding, you can expect on time delivery of your edited pictures. We used Scott during his busiest season of the year and he had our pictures to us a week earlier than promised.

Hire Scott because:
1) He takes great pics (he understands the balance of having natural uncanned pics with the must-have wedding shots that your mother will want
2) He's reliable
3) He's super easy to work with
4) He works with a range of budgets

We decided to use Scott's photography after we saw how great the photos turned out at my brother's wedding. He was friendly and easy to work with and we were quite pleased with the photographs. He not only took the standard photos asked for, but got quite a few beatiful and fun creative shots. He also edited quite a number of photos, and gave us both the unedited, edited and black and white versions of photos. We ended up with a very large collection of digital photos capturing each part of the entire day, from the salon, to my brother in law clipping his nails on the front lawn of the church before the guests arrived, to each word of the I DO's to the face expressions of those giving the toasts and the facial expressions of the bride and groom listening to the toasts. The edited really improved the photographs and saved me many hours if I had tried editing on my own. He also kept to the schedule and covered all the basis I asked for, plus some.

I just met up with Mr. Scott and was very impressed. He's very humble and friendly. I love his stlye of work and booked him on the spot. I found him on the www.wpja.com the wedding photo journalist association website. What I loved the most was the great price for Full Coverage. :D

Wow! I received my pictures and we were blown away. The pictures were beautifully done. I received all the pictures that was taken that day and wow there was alot. He took pictures of moments that I didn't even see. We were very happy!

My husband and I booked Scott for our engagement photos and for our wedding and we could not have been more pleased. We knew we wanted to book him within minutes of meeting him - he is humble, personable and clearly has a passion for what he does. We were looking for someone with a photojournalist style but were beginning to fear we couldn't afford that - we felt Scott's pricing was very reasonable so book him before he figures that out! :) He was happy to comply with any requests, but also just did his thing with great results. He somehow managed to be everywhere all at once before and during the wedding and during the reception and caught some amazing candid moments - just what we were hoping for. He captured many amazingly beautiful shots. He is easily accessible and even popped by the rehearsal since he happened to be in the area so he could scope everything out. Like I said - we couldn't be happier and we couldn't recommend Scott more highly.

I just wanted to update my review since our wedding (a year late - sorry Scott). Scott was the vendor we were the most excited about. He is humble yet confident in his work and knows how to get amazing shots. He's a genuinely nice person and a wonderful presence to have on your wedding day. We especially loved Scott's ability to capture emotion on film. He had never been to our venue so he went the day before to scout out awesome locations to shoot...Clearly an above and beyond move. The finished products are phenomenal and we are so thankful we chose Scott. Highly highly recommend (in fact, we recommended him to 2 seperate couples who booked him and are equally happy).

Scott Reynolds is incredible! After an entertaining engagement shoot to get to know him, we couldn't have been more excited about finding the perfect match for our wedding photographer. Scott was easy to talk to and was always willing to go the extra mile to ease our minds (he even went and scouted out our church and reception site before the big day to map out plans for getting the best shots). Then, Scott spent fourteen hours with us on our wedding day and captured the entire day piece by piece, step by step. Even more than a year later, when we look at our photos, we relive that special day with all of the emotions, anticipation, and happiness. He has a natural talent for photography and makes you feel so comfortable that sometimes you forget he’s even snapping away! He is dedicated, reliable, and easy going. Scott has done multiple projects for me. He did our wedding and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. He covered all the bases with the standard family pictures (you've got to keep the mother-in-law happy!) as well as getting creative pictures of those special moments. Scott's true eye for the perfect candid pictures comes through when you're lost in the moment and you don't know he's there. Those are the pictures my wife and I look at every day and those pictures take us back to that moment of absolute wedded bliss. HIGHLY Recommended. I've also purchased some of Scott's landscape/architectural photography in large format and I get compliments nearly every day on the photos. He is able to present transcendent images of familiar architecture. Again, HIGHLY recommended. To sum it up, if you are looking to have someone document the wedding from getting dressed to the ceremony to Uncle Frank dancing on the table with that purse on his head you'll love Scott's work! Scott is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He will work diligently to address your concerns and he will provide you with a lifetime of memories with his amazing work. My husband and I booked Scott as our photographer for our wedding in January 2007 after seeing him at our friends' wedding and seeing the photos he took that day. Not only is Scott EXTREMELY talented at what he does, but he's also an awesome person with whom to work. He is genuinely happy to be there and is flexible, kind, and very professional. His pictures are amazing. He has such an artistic eye to be able to see a photo opportunity that you would have never thought of and as a result, he produces photos that are professional and beautiful. Other brides who have seen my album have said that Scott was a much better photographer than the ones they booked for their weddings and wished they knew about him at the time they got married.
