When my husband, Anthony, and I first got engaged, we knew immediately how important quality photographs of our wedding were to us. My dress is something I will never wear again (unless I decide to do a trash-the-dress session), the location of ceremony and reception were lovely though absolutely trivial, but the photographs of our momentous day...that is what my husband, family, and myself will continue to look back on for years. Anthony and I did have our doubts, though, when it came to photographers who could understand the uniqueness of our wedding. We wanted to include various different themes and elements- the beatles, peacock feathers, our yorkie (hannibal), and hints of dia de los muertos and new mexican culture.
I came across Screaming Light during a web search for local photographers. Their work instantly caught my eye and their expertise combined with their affordable prices sealed the deal.
When Anthony and I met with Roz and Jason, it was love at first sight. Not only are their photographs mind blowing but their personalities are absolutely addicting. I never imagined that we could find photographers who not only understood and encouraged our offbeat wedding ideas, but they also contributed to them. When Anthony and I left that night, we knew we had found our perfect photographers.
On the day of the wedding, everything was as hectic as suspected. Roz showed up early to take photos of me getting ready and ended up helping me tie my corset-back dress. Later I found out that Jason, who was taking photos of Anthony, helped him get ready as well. Throughout the entire ceremony and reception, I never really saw Jason and Roz as they worked their magic, but whenever my veil needed adjustment, Jason was there to assist in a heartbeat.
All in all, their work was fabulous. The end result was jaw dropping and I am forever thankful for their beautiful photographs and amazing wedding helping skills. So I strongly suggest their services to anyone who wants quality work that cannot be matched anywhere in the state. Roz and Jason are far more than photographers, they are amazing people and we are lucky enough to call them friends.
An investment that my Fiance and I wanted to put emphasis on when planning our Wedding was the Photo's. We planned a small Wedding but wanted someone to capture the memories and enable us to share our big day with those who weren't with us on this special day. What drew us to Screaming Light Studios was their extraordinary photos and cool website. I have to tell you, if you poke around on their website a little, you find there is more to these photographers than meets the eye. They support our troops through a project called "Operation Love Reunited". They donate their talents to the hard working men and women who protect our country. Wow what a combo, talented photographers with big hearts.
After I met with Jason and Roz I was relieved. During our session they answered all my questions and really put me at ease. I walked out of their studio knowing they would be the perfect fit for capturing our special day. They are remarkable people, calm, easygoing and talented!
Our Wedding was the best day of my Husband and mine's life, it was so special to us. I have to be honest, I really wasn't cognizant of the photographers shooting the Wedding other than the formals, afterwords I was even a little worried. When they sent us the proofs we were amazed. They caught every highlight perfectly!!! They shot so many photos of special moments I'm convinced they made themselves invisible. We didn't know they were there capturing "That" special moment.
The photos are AMAZING, the emotions, personalities, highlights everything is on film. The details, colors, EVERYTHING!!!
We can't wait to expand our family and will continue our business with Sreaming Light Studios to capture our new life!
