Scrumptious Wedding & Specialty Cakes

When we went for the cake testing I wasn't impressed. The samples were dry and just not very appealing, but I booked her just because she was recommended by the venue and didn't have any bad reviews. I'm glad I did. It turns out the samples were dry because they were pieces left over from the cakes she made the prior week. Our cake was moist, light, fluffy, beautiful and delicious . She was there when she said she would be and did what she promised. People are still telling me the cake was delicious. We were even surprised when we took our first bite! I also paid half of what Rossmoore bakeries quoted me(another recommended bakery). She is a little busy, but she does promptly return all calls & is on time for appointments.

We were running out of time (2 weeks before the wedding) and we had not done our cake. We were originally going to go to Albertson's to have them do our wedding cake. Regina came through for us and created a beautiful cake in just a short time. Everyone loved how the cake looked and TASTED. We even had extra cake we had to take home after the reception.

Typically wedding cakes don't always taste that great and they cost a fortune. This is not the case with Rowena's cakes. The cake was fantastic and the price was more than reasonable. People are still commenting on how great the cake was! I had three different flavors and all were spectacular. The tasting was very personal as it was one on one. It was not a group tasting. Aside from the taste the cake was absolutely gorgeous, and it wasn't even made with fondant! So many people took pictures of the cake. When I first got into the reception hall I spotted it from across the room. It was the first time I'd seen it in person. It brought a huge smile to my face and I only hoped it tasted as good as it looks. Trust me, it did! It was so delicious we couldn't wait a year to eat the top!

Rowena did an exceptional job on my cake! Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted amazing! I brought a picture to Rowena and she replicated the cake perfectly. My cake had snowflakes on it, and she went above and beyond to make the snowflakes out of white chocolate and even those were yummy to eat. I will definitely be coming back!

Our wedding cake is the most beautiful wedding cake. Rowena with her professionalism was able to create the cake of our dream. Very professional and her attention to details is remarkable. Not only did the cake look great but it also tasted good ... very SCRUMPTIOUS !!!

Awesome price for the awesome custom cake design! Hubby and I were looking for a baker who could make us a mango cake with fresh mango. Naturally, we tried to find someone Filipino (we are Filipino as well). To my delight, Rowena also made ube cake!

We scheduled a tasting with her and fell in love with how light and delicious everything was. When she asked for our cake design, we joked by showing her a cake that looked like a stack of luggage (we love to travel), not knowing that she would actually agree! Needless to say, we didn't need to visit other bakers, because Rowena was the one! She even told us to send her travel stickers that she could print on an edible printer and stick on our suitcases.

The day of the wedding, she delivered a flawless cake (see my profile picture) that our guests absolutely LOVED. In fact, hubby and I didn't even get to eat a slice. =( We got back and everything was GONE, since people had gone back for seconds and even thirds. We had 150 guests and ordered 190 portions; that should tell you how much people loved it!

Our flavors were mango and ube in different layers, with a white chocolate buttercream frosting, and fondant.

The next time I have a party or something, I'm ordering cake from her just because. :)

Rowena was absolutely wonderful! We made an appointment to talk with her and taste some of her cakes to decide which flavor to use. She had some good input and made a wonderful cake to fit our budget!

Rowena at Scrumptious wedding cakes did a wonderful job on our cake! I was referred to her by my sister who had used Scrumptious Wedding Cakes for her wedding in August and both cakes were delicious, moist and absolutely gorgeous. She does a good job of listening to what you want and making it even better. Best cake we tried and am so glad that we used her! Professional and decently priced. We had blue fondant icing and chocolate with raspberry filling alternating with lemon layers and got a lot of complements from our guests!

Rowena was personable, friendly and very willing to work with us. We gave her ideas and she flew with it. She made a gorgeous cake that fit us to a T.
