I got my dress early and it was very very expencive gown. OOPs I gain 10 pounds and 2 sizes. I was heart broken and near hysterical, nothing fits anymore . Ana add the panel at the back , then hide the panel with the laces and take uot a kittle on the skirt - it's actually become even more impressive

Mansureh is AMAZING!!! I've been to a few "tailors" in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, and each time I felt as if I should have just done it myself. I googled "best tailor Albuquerque", read reviews, and took a chance with Mansureh. These weren't wedding dresses, but I thought if I was going to get pricey designer dresses altered, I better go to a tailor specializing in bridal wear.

Picked up my two of my dresses today, and I LOVE them! One dress had more details and seams, and needed to be taken down almost 2 sizes. She did such an amazing and professional job on both. They look as if they were never altered! WOW!!

I'll never trust anyone else with any of my clothing AGAIN!

Ana at Sew it Seams in The Woodlands is truly a gifted seamstress. She has a beautiful studio that makes you feel like a bride, and works tirelessly to make sure your dress fits like a glove. She totally re-worked my whole gown and made me realize how it was supposed to look! The pleats opened perfectly, the dress stood up, and I felt very comfortable in it on the day of. She gives the most precious etiquette lesson when your dress is finished about a week before your wedding, and, of course, cleans it as well. She also has a lingerie machine so she's able to customize any under the dress wear you may need. She is pricier than some other seamstresses in the area, but that's because she's an expert who leaves no stone unturned. She is detail oriented to the max and hilarious to boot. She'll keep you laughing while she's walking on her knees all around you pinning things like crazy and sticking her head up the gown to fix the layers! She really is talented, worth the money, and totally reliable. Your seamstress is not a vendor you want to guess on...go with someone tried and true--go with Ana.

Miss Ana loves working with brides and you can tell by the quality of her work. Everyone loved the dress and it fit perfectly. She is also a perfectionist and stands behind her work so that even small details are fixed so that I would be happy with the finished product. My dress was all lace and she really had a lot of work to do to it because of my body shape, but in the end it looked like it was made for me. Thank you Ana!

Not only is Miss Ana a great seamstress, she also shares several tips and tricks for the big day. She took in 6" on my dress and you would never know! The quality was amazing. She is a little quirky, but that is totally part of her charm.

Ana's work is amazing. It's pretty pricey--almost as much as my dress---but it was definitely worth it. This was the second dress I bought. I had the first one altered by a dry cleaners tailor and it was awful!

Having Ana as my alterationist for my wedding was by far the best decision I could have EVER made!! After meeting with her I knew that there was no other person that I could trust more with my wedding dress! She takes great pride in her work and you can tell that she truly LOVES her job! She is a perfectionist and really took the time to make sure my dress fit PERFECTLY! Yes, Ana's prices are a bit more than other alterationists but I promise you, after you meet and work with her you will realize very quickly the difference between her and the other alterationists. I could have not asked for a better experience! Ana was even generous enough to give me as a wedding gift a pair of earrings from her showcase cabinet that I had been eye-balling. Sew It Seams is exactly the kind of place any bride would choose to have her alterations done. I wouldn't have felt comfortable leaving my gown with any other. Ms Ana does an amazing job and she makes the appointments fun, exactly what a bride wants and needs! Sew It Seams is truly a unique find.

My dress was pretty expensive and so i wanted only the best. Ann was referred to me by Brick house bridal (where i bought my dress). She was so sweet and very professional. At first i thought the price was a little high, but you get exactly what you pay for. I also did it last minute and she was super busy. but she told me if i didn't mind waiting for her 15-20 minutes she would fit me between clients. I would definitely refer clients to her. She's the sweetest little lady!

Anna was spectacular! The store I purchased my wedding gown initially ordered the wrong dress. When I received my dress it was less than a month until my wedding date. Anna was incredible and worked me in to her busy schedule and made all the alterations. Her work was fantastic!

Ana is so amazing at what she does!!! She truly cares about her brides, how they feel on their wedding day, and most of all how the dress fits! She literally can redesign your dress if need be! She will do anything in her power to make your dress exactly how you would like it to be. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! Sew It Seams was at a convient location and was right next to where I purchased my wedding gown. The owner of this business is a character but is super nice and wants you to look great on your big day! She cares a lot about her customers. The only issue I had was when I went for my final dress fitting there was someone else there at the same time and I got stuck in the side room they don't really use and I was uncomfortable & hott but it wasn't there fault because the person in front of me had just taken longer than expected but it was only two days before my wedding and I was exhausted and didn't really need that. But everything else was great! Pretty set-up and great alterations. Made me feel like a princess :)

When I first arrived, Ana did most of the talking and had difficulty letting me explain what I wanted altered in my gown. After I left my dress there, she became very unavailable. Every time I tried reaching her, she answered the phone, then gave some excuse of why she couldn't take my call (i.e. out of town, at dinner, just getting out of the shower). I live over an hour away and originally visited her on a Saturday, though after taking my business, she insisted that she did not have hours available for me on Saturday. During my last fitting, I left 2 hours early in order to reserve enough time to make my fitting. There were two wrecks along the way and I was 25 minutes late. She insisted that I would have to reschedule due to her "no later than 20 minutes rule", even though a member of my family had arrived on time and was waiting there to meet me. When I finally had enough and tried to get my dress back, she threatened that "it's in a million pieces" to try and dissuade me from taking my business elsewhere. My fiance' negotiated a price and paid her most of her very expensive costs to get my dress back unfinished, and we took it to someone who was more accommodating and friendly. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without having to deal with someone with such poor behavior who is complete control of your dress.

I absolutely LOVED Sew it Seams. My gown was literally "made" for me after alterations. The shop is beautiful and I knew my dress would be well taken care of. The final fitting celebration was a unique and wonderful experience. It is a little more expensive than other alteration boutiques but definitely worth it.

Ana at Sew it Seams did an amazing job making my dress look like a million bucks! I already loved my dress when I brought it to her, but she made me fall in love with it all over again. She is very particular about her work, which made me feel very comfortable with her services.

Anna is very good and what she does. She did an outstanding job altering my wedding dress. The bustle was beautiful and the dress fit great! I am not originally from this area and when I went to my 1st fitting she was not very nice to me. She insisted I needed a "custom hem" that was going to cost be an extra $300 and was not pleased when I said I did not feel I needed it. However, she was great during my final fitting and allowed everyone to take pictures and to take our time. She is top notch for alterations!

Miss Anna did a fabulous job altering my daughter's wedding dress. She is definitely expensive but she is a perfectionist and it was well worth the money spent. She also does a fabulous job at the final fitting with etiquette lessons and making it a fun event for the family and friends who attend. We loved her.

I had my alterations done here. She was awesome so sweet and did an amazing job. It is expensive but it will be done right and perfect!!!!

It had always been my dream to wear my mother's wedding gown, and Ana at Sew It Seams helped to make it happen. I'm a bit larger than my mom was, both in length and width, but Ana was able to take fabric from the train to use in these areas, and the final product was flawless. She is expensive, but I had to be very careful in who I chose to work on my mother's gown! Try her if you have a difficult gown to work with, you won't regret it!

Sew It Seams ("Anna" I believe it was) did an excellent job for me on a very very short notice. She gave wonderful suggestions, made great improvements and did all with a patient smile and understanding during a stressful time. I took a vintage lace dress to her that needed the fringe bottom completely redone. She added beads and sequins to the sleeves and made alterations that made me and the dress look fabulous!

Anna was delightful! She was very professional and made us feel very comfortable and confident in the wedding gown.

Sew it seams is a great place for alterations, but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. I'd like to say, "It was worth it" but I'm still debating on that. When I went in for my final fitting the dress did not fit, so she charged extra for further alterations even though I still had the same measurements and my weight had not fluxuated. She is a very sweet lady, but I think I could have gotten the same results at a better price elsewhere.

Thank you so much for all your work on my wedding dress! All the alterations were done so beautifully and with such care. While getting ready for my wedding I had something old, something new and something borrowed but I was missing something blue. What a wonderful surprise it was to find the small blue ribbon inside the dress - that was really a very sweet addition! You truly have a gift and it shows in your work!

I went to Anna after receiving glowing recommendations from two other girls and I am so glad that I did. Anna took my dress, which I thought fit well, and made it look even more amazing on me. She really listened to my concerns about how I wanted to look on the big day and the final product exceeded my expectations. Anna also made my birdcage veil "on my head". It was extra special that it was made from scratch just for me. I would definitely recommend Anna to anyone and would take my dress there again in a second!

She is a bit expensive but totally worth the cost. My bustle was amazing on a very hard to bustle dress and my dress fit perfectly! She even took the time to teach me how to walk and sit in my dress. She stayed open throughout hurricane Ike and was my savior-had she not been open i would not have had my dress for my wedding as she was holding it for me.
