Rachel of Shadetree Events is the best! We decided kind of late in the game to hire a day of coordinator. It was only 6 months before our wedding and I started to have mini panic attacks that I didn't know what I was doing and needed someone's help. After scouring Wedding Wire, I found Shadetree Events and hired Rachel sight unseen! I already knew that I liked her price, but after talking to her on the phone, I knew that she was the right choice.
Shadetree is a smaller company and so you don't feel like you're one of 100 brides that she's planning for. Even though she was just coordinating the day of, she was extremely helpful getting my head wrapped around everything leading up to the wedding. She did a fantastic job conducting the rehearsal for our wedding and then the day of, words can't describe how thankful I am that she was there. I'm grateful that there weren't any major things that went wrong, but the one thing that did go wrong she fixed right away. She was able to fix my wedding dress at the last minute when the strap on my dress got all messed up. I could've totally had a break down, but she fixed it before I even could.
I received so many comments from both family and friends how great Rachel was and any couple would be lucky to have her as their day of coordinator.
Since we had a large wedding at the church, we were so grateful to have an event planner on hand to offer her services, advice, and help. Rachel honored our vision, while accommodating our tighter budget and a VERY large number of guests. She made sure that things ran smoothly the day of, and also saw to it that my husband and I got some (much needed) face time right after the ceremony. I never went without food or water, either (something that most brides completely forget about in the flurry of wedding day obligations). Rachel was right there with all of the necessities!
