I photographed a wedding here before. This venue has many many great settings for photos. The staff are all accomodating and friendly. Phylla will take good care of you.

We looked here as a possible ceremony / reception site. It is beautiful and the inclinator adds such a quirky twist. When I got there, they forgot I had an appointment, but were willing to fit me in. They are only able to accommodate a very small wedding outdoors on the water. Indoors, guests would have to stand during the ceremony. I chose not to get married there because there is not a single large reception room. Instead guests would be spread throughout the restaurant at small restaurant tables. If that fits your ideas, this is a great place. Capitola is fabulous!

Shadowbrook provides a beautiful setting. It's a house built in the 1920's by the grandfather of the woman who now runs it. The house itself resembles an English tutor-style home combined with a Scottish castle.

Phylla is on top of her game. She knows what is going on at all times and helps keep things moving. They also cater the food, with your choice of finger foods or full dinner. They can also provide the cakes. Shadowbrook is kind of like an all-inclusive resort...do they just about everything!

This is a beautiful setting for a wedding. Phyla takes good care of you. Be sure to ask about the "Legend of Maribone Lake."
