My wedding day was stress free thanks to the staff at Shadowridge!

My wedding was in October of last year, and I'm just barely writing the reviews! Even though my response is late my opinion of Shadowridge Country Club remains the same: It is the perfect place for a wedding.The hill top site for the ceremony is beautiful. There's a wooden gazebo and the area is surrounded by a rock wall that blocks the rest of the golf course. I fell in love with the secluded garden feel of it.I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was to work with Elizabeth. She is quick at responding, willing to work with your budget and made my entire wedding planning a breeze. The only set back was the food (they cooked the wrong thing) but since the guests had no clue it was hardly a complaint. Only those who had been at the food tasting knew the difference and that's why it was 4.5 on the service. Of course, Elizabeth was able to get the correct dish cooked for my husband and I. (Note: If you are the Bride & Groom, make sure to have your food boxed. Chances are you'll be too busy socializing/dancing to really enjoy your dinner, dessert and cake.)Overall, my husband and I would not have chosen any other venue. Thanks to Elizabeth and Shadowridge Country Club for helping make a memorable moment.

My husband and I were looking for a beach wedding but unfortunately everything was booked. We decided to look around at places close to us. Never would we have looked at a place in Vista until we stumbled on Shadowridge Counrty Club's website. Elizabeth Fox at Shadowridge Country Club made our wedding dreams and visions come true. She is professional, easy to work with, compassionate, and she made everything perfect. She was always there to help us with plans, changes, or if we were undecided about something, it was like working with our best friend. She was so helpful and the staff was just as pleasant. The ceremony and venue location was perfect with an overlook of the sunset, the beautiful garden and golf course. The food was delicious and the staff was always ready and eager to help with any changes that needed to be made. We had to call twice to make sure our package deal was real. Food was delicious, cake (Flour Power) was yummy, ceremony on hill top was gorgeous with sunset, the reception area was clean, modern perfect , and classy. The wait staff and bartenders were professional, friendly, and actually stopped to talk and act as people not robots. We highly recommend Shadowridge Country Club for a wedding ceremony and reception, not to mention their awesome wedding planner, Elizabeth Fox.

Elizabeth is awesome. She made sure that our special day went through without a hitch.

The Service was absolutely PERFECT. Like most brides, I wanted my wedding to be perfect, and to sail smoothly through the planning process. Elizabeth Fox did exactly that for me. I sent her an email almost daily up until the day of my wedding with questions, and I always had an answer in a timely manner. I had nothing to worry or stress about when it came to my ceremony and reception, allowing me to enjoy the entire wedding process with my husband how it should be.

Our wedding was AMAZING!! I couldn't have imagined a better wedding. Elizabeth is the nicest person ever, and will definitely go above and beyond for her clients. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful golf course ceremony.

Elizabeth Fox is our coodinator and was amazing at making our package fit our needs & budget. She's also super sweet & helpful with ideas. I absolutely love the ceremony garden area in the middle of the golf course-it is very secluded & private and will make for be beautiful photos near the gazebo, pond, trees, rock landscaping, and even the reception hall. I never thought we would be able to afford a full-service wedding, but Elizabeth made it happen and we couldn't be happier!

Also, our ceremony will be outside with the reception being inside the reception hall. With a May wedding, we will def be stressed about it raining, but Shadowridge does have an indoor back-up plan if that happens. This is comforting beyond belief.

Overall, I highly recommend looking into Shadowride County Club-it's beautiful, but reasonably priced.

Elizabeth Fox was simply AMAZING, and made our special day flawless! She made everything perfect and it actually turned out even better than we could have imagined!!! :) All of the Shadowridge staff was on top of it, and very polite & Friendly. I would highly reccommend Shadowridge as a Ceremony & Reception site for any future events, especially weddings! The little secrect Garden for the ceremony was so intimate and special, and the reception room in the country club was beautiful with all of the windows.... Our experience with her made our wedding flow great and gave us peace of mind that everything was getting taken care of that needed to be done. Overall without the help she provided us with we wouldn't of had the wonderful wedding we ended up with.

Elizabeth Fox at Shadow Ridge Country Club was an absolute gem to work with. She was a pleasure to work with, very helpful and responsive. Very pleasant attitude. The food was wonderful, service was great and the facility very nice. I had alot of guests comment that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. They also commented on the wonderful service. I liked the idea that the wedding and reception was all in the same place.

Elizabeth and her staff were amazing. They were very accomadating of our wishes and went above and beyond for any and all our requests. On the day of our wedding, the weather kept alternating between rain and sunshine. I, as the bride, was a emotional and streseed out mess and Elizabeth was so calm and so helpful. Elizabeth and the Shadowridge team were wonderful to work with. Elizabeth is a knowledgeable event planner and very organized. They accommodated every one of my absurd bride requests. The quality of service was wonderful. The gazebo ceremony site and reception site are beautiful. The food was extraordinarily delicious. Our entire wedding day was everything we could have imagined and more!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Shadowridge. I can pretty much thank Elizabeth, the event coordinator for that. She was fantastic!!! During our reception my husband really wanted a specific bag for our "honeymoon" dance and sure enough Elozabeth went down the street to pick one up for him. Shadowridge Country Club and Elizabeth Fox really made our day special!!!

We had to find a new venue for the wedding last minute and they were fantastic! The price was great for all of the things that were included in the package, and there was no worry on my end about caterers, chair rentals, or anything else in that department. We were able to set up the room the day before the ceremony and stash most of our things for the next day with her. I would highly recommend this venue for a beautiful ceremony and fun reception.

The wedding venue at Shadowridge is a wonderful garden area with a gazebo. They Club has done a wonderful job of designing a secluded feel within the golf course. Beautiful photo ops/easy decorating and feels intimate for a small group (we had about 50 guests at ceremony) as well as plenty of area for larger number of guests. The club house offers numerous room sizes, food choices and wonderful scenic views as well. Elizabeth, the events coordinator at ShadowRidge is an absolute gem to work with! The majority of our planning for this event was done with the bride living in Seattle - had only one opportunity to meet face/face with Elizabeth but she handled most details via email and phone making the planning and coordination for this day very effortless. Can't say enough about how smoothly everything went that evening.

Elizabeth was wonderful. My husband and I trusted her when we met her and felt like she was truly listening to what we wanted. Since we were planning a wedding from 5 hours away, it was very important to us that we could trust the event planner for our reception. The club was very flexible and looked great. Everything turned out perfect, which is amazing. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was at the reception. We highly recommend Shadowridge Country Club for a wedding reception site.

I am very happy that I decided to have my wedding at shadowridge. Everything turned out exactly as planned and the entire staff was extremely helpful, especially Elizabeth Fox who was on top of everything.

Shadowridge was a beautiful venue to have a wedding. I grew up going to Shadowridge with my family and actually moved my original wedding date so that I could have it at the club. The golf course was vibrant green which created some beautiful pictures. The gazebo that they offer for the ceremony site is secluded from the golf course and tucked away into this personal cute setting. Overall a beautiful place to get married.

Elizabeth was a saint!!!! I chose to have my wedding at Shadowridge Country Club because it is a place that holds a lot of meaning in my heart. I had grown up going to Sunday breakfasts there with my family. Elizabeth was such a breath of fresh air when I met her and I felt completely calm about my wedding plans knowing she was going to be there for me. I live out of town so Elizabeth and I communicated through e-mail. She was very prompt when getting back to me on all my many questions. I think I e-mailed her at least once a day and her e-mails were always so pleasant and comforting. The day of the wedding I was able to use the club to get ready and see the transformation in the works by Elizabeth. She is such a wonderful person that she even ended up babysitting my little niece who wouldn't walk down the isle. I would 100% recommend any bride get in contact with Elizabeth. I know I plan to be in contact with her for another event, hopefully soon. Congratulations!!!

Overall I was very pleased with Shadowridge Country Club. We were on a tighter budget and they managed to work with it well. What I especially liked was that they rent everything for you. You don't have to worry about tables and chairs, linens, etc. It is all included in the price of the reception rental. Also, the cake is included in the price of the meal. All you have to do is get the cake from one of two vendors they work with, which are very good bakery's. I was very happy with my cake. They also only do one wedding a day, so you have the whold day to yourself. They do provide a wedding coordinator for the day of, however if you want someone to coordinate more than that you should hire a separate wedding planner. She mainly does the ceremony but, has lovely ideas for the reception that you would have to have someone else do for you, i.e. dressing the the tables beyond the linens they provide, placing the favors and place cards for assigned seating, dressing the gift table and guest book table, timeline for the reception (unless your DJ provides a schedule instead, which most do), etc. Otherwise, it is a lovely wedding venue! The ceremony site is very beautiful and you can dress it up even more with striking flowers. I would definitely suggest this venue for any wedding, but especially those on a budget.

Our entire wedding experience went without a single flaw and we owe it all to Elizabeth! My husband and I couldn't be happier with our decision to be married at the Shadowridge Country Club. Our guests who attended the wedding commented on how organized, professional and extremely personable the entire staff was to them. We think that alone speaks volumes to not only the country club but our wedding coordinator. Elisabeth is a GREAT coordinator. I just wished that she could have stayed longer the wedding night to help get things closed up. We had to pick up everything ourselves and we found the wait staff drinking out of our keg before the night was over. The location was perfect and the golf course provides a beautiful background. Our friends and family had a great time.

It was truly a pleasure working with Elizabeth! Elizabeth is extremely professional, but at the same time we felt like she became a good friend. Everything was perfect for our wedding. We checked several other venues before choosing Shadowridge, but felt that this was the perfect venue for us.Would highly recommend to everyone.
