Due to an illness in the family, my original wedding plans changed, and I needed to find a hair stylist is a hurry. A friend recommended Shania and I couldn't have been more pleased. Shania, not only fit me in last minute and did an AMAZING job, she was thoroughly professional and personable AND she found me an incredible make-up artist. She really went the extra mile to help me and I am so thankful. I would recommend Shania to any bride, not only for her talents, but for her smile and warmth.

I was looking online for someone to style my hair for my wedding and I saw that Shaina had wonderful reviews so I decided to do a run through with her. I brought a few photos with me and she was honest and said that my fine hair wouldn't hold those hairstyles as well but we can come up with something perfect together. She couldn't have been more right - she nailed the exact look I was going for. I knew I wanted soft and romantic so she listened to the feel I was after, looked at photos of my dress and completely blew me away with a perfect hairstyle to match. Then on my actual wedding day I wanted to incorporate flowers and she added them in and made my hair look even more incredible than I had hoped. Not only is she extremely talented but she is also the kindest person. She is so nice and has such a calming presence which was extremely helpful on such a stressful day. Shaina really felt like a member of my family on the wedding day and I can't thank her enough for everything. She is an incredible stylist and a great person. I highly recommend Shaina!

Shaina was absolutely amazing! My whole wedding party and I had so many compliments throughout the night! I absolutely loved my hair! She was so flexible and came to our hotel room. I felt as if it was just a bunch of girls hanging out as friends, she made everyone feel so comfortable. I can't say enough good things about her. If you want some amazing hair for your event Shaina is definitely the one to call!

I cannot say enough about Shaina and the bridal services that she offers. She was responsive to my ideas and worked with my hair style, and texture to make sure that my beauty vision was complete on my wedding day. She worked the various personalities of my wedding party and did a fabulous job of making them look fantastic. She was flexible with my schedule the day of the event. Mostly importantly she made me feel gorgeous on my wedding day.

Shaina is GREAT! A friend of my sister-in-law had recommended her since we were coming from out of town. I didn't have time to do a run through but we met for coffee, went over some pics & on the day of, everything came out fabulous! Aside from being a great hairstylist - Shaina also has a great personality and she helped me to laugh and relax while we were getting ready!

Shaina was amazing. I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my hair and what would look best. Shaina was incredibly helpful and patient. She spent a lot of time in the trials trying out all sorts of ideas of styles to help me see all of the options and decide on the best hair style.

She was very flexible with the scheduling. There were a lot of moving parts trying to arrange for timing with all of the girls and she was so easygoing which made the process go very smoothly.

She is such a sweet person and it was a pleasure to have her with us while getting ready for my wedding.

My hair looked amazing for my wedding day (and rehearsal dinner) thanks to Shaina. I got so many compliments!

Shaina was the greatest! She came and met my MOH and I at my hotel when we arrived in Napa to examine our hair to know what she was working with. She had worked on her model heads before and had an idea of how to style the hair. She went above and beyond being always a step ahead. She also gave my guests and I suggestions of place and vineyards to visit while in Napa Valley. I cannot say enough! I'm still bragging about her back home in New Orleans!!

Shaina did a great job with our hair. she was easy to work with and even met us out the day before to go over our updos. She was very professional and also gave us some ideas on where to go for the other free nights we had after the wedding. sweet person and great hair stylist.

I went to Napa Valley to get married on 23rd August 2010, I had Shaina Cook to do my bridal hair, along with my maid of honour's hair as well - at very short notice!!!! I described to Shaina how I would like my hair to look and that's exactly what I got. My hair look amazing and I got comments from my family and friends. My hair stayed immaculate all night. My sisters hair was exactly as she described it would look like (she asked about her dress etc and matched a hair style to suit). She is very friendly, and straight away she made us feel comfortable, she took her time. I would highly recommend her to any one wishing to have their bridal hair or a hair do for a special occasion.

Shaina did an amazing job when she did my hair for my recent wedding. She did exactly what I wanted and it looked AMAZING!!! My mother-in-law is a hair stylist and she was very impressed with my hair as well.

Shaina was prompt and kept me on schedule. She made me comfortable, relaxed and is great at keeping the conversation going.

My husband and I plan on going to Napa every year for our anniversary and I plan on Shaina making me pretty for the celebration dinners.

Shaina was a pleasure to work with. When we didn't get as far as we wanted in the first run-through, she invited me back to her salon for a second run-through, at no extra cost. Shaina also glue-gunned some preserved orchid blossoms that I had found onto hairpins. She arrived promptly on the day of the wedding, was a fun addition to the group of women I was hanging out with before the ceremony, and she created a hairdo that got many compliments throughout the evening.

Shaina provided hairstylist services for myself and my four bridesmaids at my wedding on May 22. I could not have asked for a better stylist! I have long, thick curly hair and wanted it to look smooth but curly. She suggested a blow dry the day before and created a lovely "victoria secret" look for my rehearsal dinner.

Leading up to the day she was very responsive and put me at ease. On the day she was on time, efficient, calm and flexible. I was very happy with the results and highly recommend Shaina to any bride!

We had a great opportunity to work with Shaina on a vintage inspired "Day After" session recently. What a gem! Shaina was helpful, enthusiastic, and the bride's hair was perfect. Shaina was great from the beginning. I was planning a destination wedding and didn't have any idea where to go to get my hair done. After speaking with Shaina the first time, I knew that she was going to make this easy for me. All communication was done by phone and emails. She took the time to meet me at the bakery where I was tasting my wedding cake. It was out of her way but she didn't seem to mind. She also understood that I really didn't know my way around so her coming to me just made things alot less stressful. It was definitely a great experience meeting her. She was kind, patient and had a very open mind about what I wanted to do with my hair.

I recommend Shaina to anyone ! Can't wait to her again, the next time I'm in Napa !

There aren't enough stars for rating I would give Shaina Cook!!! Not only did Shaina do a beautiful job with my hair, she helped me plan hair and make-up for my sister and myself from 3,000 miles away!

I was married in Napa but live in New York. I had an idea of what I wanted and started by sharing my dress and some thoughts about hair via e-mail with Shaina. She encouraged me to look for pictures, which I did, and she described the "feel" I was going for despite my not knowing exactly what I wanted: neat but loose, pulled back, but "flow-y" and romantic. And when I arrived in California, she went out of her way on her day off to meet me and get to know me, my fiance and, or course, my hair! She also recommended a wonderful make-up artist in Napa who worked with me to achieve a natural look that was more special than just the "everyday me" look.

Finally, on my wedding day, as I sat in Shaina's chair and realized I'd forgotten to bring the flowers for my hair that the florist had dropped off at the Inn, Shaina calmly suggested that while I had my make-up done, she would retrieve the flowers and finish while I moved on to make-up. In so many ways, Shaina simply took care of me. And I am so appreciative for her part in what I am happy to tell everyone was my Dream Wedding with every detail exactly as I'd wanted it and as I'd planned it!

I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Shaina! She is incredibly warm and friendly, so I felt extremely comfortable having her there on such a special day. Shaina did an absolutely wonderful job on my hair, I was thrilled! She really listened to me when I described what I wanted, but when I asked, also gave great suggestions, so that I ended up with the perfect style for my special day! I would recommend Shaina to anyone! Weddings can be such a stressful day in a lot of ways, and it was just so nice knowing that I didnt have to worry about my hair because she did an excellent job.

Shaina is absolutely wonderful. She listens carefully to what you want and does her magic to make you look and feel beautiful. She offers suggestions, but listens to what your wishes are and follows through with them. I would definitely recommend Shaina. She is a doll.

Sometimes, married women mention something about their wedding day that didn't go quite as well as they'd liked. ...Complaints about vendors can be pretty common.

I have been married twice, and I didn't regret my choice to trust Shaina Cook with my hair: for an updo with fresh flowers tucked into the curls at my formal wedding, and years later with a half updo and loose waves with a tiara at my casual wedding. She did my bridesmaids' hair both times, as well. (I let them choose whatever styles they wanted.)

My experiences with Shaina were very much the same. In preparation for the wedding, she listened to my visions and looked carefully at the pictures of hairstyles I admired. She was both polite and honest with her opinions about what looks would balance out my gown, what went with my features, and whether we would be able to get a certain look when considering my hair type. On the big day, it was easy for me to confidently relax while she worked. Yes, I was thrilled with the outcome, but I appreciated her work even moreso as the day wore on: my hair stayed in place, and I was comfortable the whole day. It should be noted that this was pretty obvious to me as my husband and I were recently flipping through our wedding pictures on our fifth anniversary- my make-up had worn off a bit and there were stains on my gown, but my hair looked perfect in every single picture.

Shaina Cook exceeded my expectations. Thank you over and over, Shaina!!!

p.s.- I'd also like to add that, if you can't get along with this lady, it's very possible that you may have become a BRIDEZILLA. She's very laidback and utterly charming.

Shaina did an amazing job! I was trying to say I was excited instead of nervous on the morning of my special day (7/13/96). Thanks to Shaina she calmed the mood for all of us, as she is always a breath of fresh air. She is so positive, and never negative. She respects the styles of hair we choose, and at the same time offers her professional opinion and or suggestions. I was, and am always grateful for her suggestions! All of our hair stayed up perfect, and framed our faces very well. One thing we didn't have to worry about was our hair, that's for sure!!! I highly recommend Shaina's services where not only do you get fabulous hair but also you get to spend time with one of the kindest ladies I know!
