Shana was so amazing and she made me and my bridal party look absolutely stunning on my wedding day! She is an absolute professional, she worked with all the quirks that happened during the day and she really did such a great job. I am so happy I found her even though she is a super busy lady. I couldn't get a trial done since she was so busy, but I trusted she would do a good job and I was right. I can't wait to get my pro pics back because my makeup probably will make them come out even better. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, so I knew I had to have someone do it for me. You will not be disappointed with her artistic magic!

I first met Shana at my sister’s wedding. My sister had hired her to do makeup for her bridal party. It was great because I was able to get a “trial run” for my wedding. I loved her work, so I decided to hire her for my wedding.

It was important for me that I still looked like me on my wedding day...but a better version of me. I shared this with Shana during my wedding makeup trial. Shana did my makeup in 30 minutes, and I loved it. She is super-fast but makes you look gorgeous without caking on a bunch of makeup. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, so it was hard for me to imagine how I would look on my wedding day. After the trial, I was confident that I would look beautiful but still look like me.

Shana made me, my bridal party, and my mom look absolutely stunning but natural. Our makeup lasted all day and night. Not only is Shana an amazing makeup artist but also extremely sweet, fun, friendly, easy-going and professional. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Shana is AMAZING!!! She did the makeup for my sister's wedding. My sister looked gorgeous. She also did my mom and I. I cannot believe how amazing my mom looks in all the pictures. I've never seen her look more beautiful. I love how the makeup made me look flawless and it lasted ALL DAY. We got our makeup done at 8AM and it still looked amazing at 10PM that night!!

Shana was great when going my makeup for my wedding. I didn't have a picture to show her what I wanted just an explanation and she got to work and produced beautiful results. I love makeup and am very picky how mine looks. Shana is also great to be around , her wonderful personality makes you feel comfortable. I hired Shana to do my makeup for my wedding. I knew I was going to love Shana from our first phone contact. She provided detailed answers to all my questions. As a matter of fact, I loved her so much I decided to pay for all my bridesmaids to have their makeup done as well. One of my bridesmaids NEVER wears makeup and is very difficult to please. She loved what Shana had done for her so much she didn't want to remove her makeup. As a bride I wanted to look good all day. Shana had to reassure me over and over that my make up would last all day. She was right. I continue to look over my wedding photographs with a smile. Thank you Shana for doing such a great job! I don't even know where to begin! Shana is pretty much amaze-balls! Yes, more than amazing, she's amazeballs. When I got married in 2010, I was naturally really nervous about a lot of things - one being make-up on my big day. I'm not an every day make-up-wearing kind of girl, so the thought of paying for such a service almost gave me a heart attack. I was on a really tight budget, but was encouraged by many of my married friends to invest in a good make-up artist because it really makes a difference in photos. Not having any kind of make-up experience, I really didn't even know where to begin. What I did know was that I wanted to look myself, nothing theatrical, and not worry about make-up melting off of my face because I knew it was going to be hot on my wedding day. And I did not want make-up caked on either. I looked around and found some great reviews on Yelp - didn't know where to begin, but I did find Shana on there. I decided to give her a call and immediately knew that I would be at ease with her. I can sense her fun, bubbly personality through the phone. I did my trial run with Shana before my engagement session, which was in SF. She's based in Sacramento. This allowed me to really test the staying power of my make-up. Our engagement session was about 3 hours long and my make-up remained flawless all evening. In fact, I felt so pretty that my [now] husband and I went out on a dinner date in the City after our shoot. I was really at ease after my trial session with Shana because I knew that I was in great hands on my wedding day. The crazy part is that on my wedding day, my make-up was done even better than before, which I didn't think was possible because it was so beautiful during my trial. What I love love love about Shana is her eye for beauty and taste. I told her that it was important for me to be myself on the day of the wedding, just a little spruced up, if you will. She said YES! She explained to me the differences between theatrical make-up, a night on the town kinda make-up, etc. I was really impressed, even moreso about her passion for make-up, beauty, and her genuine love for her clients. I remember her telling me, "I love your freckles! I dont want to cover them up. Your skin will look flawless and you'll still be you with your freckles!" I loved that. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I really believe in Shana and her work. The only thing I regret is that I couldn't afford to pay for my entire bridal party to get their make-up done by Shana. That would have been pretty awesome. I guess I can close with this...if you're looking for a make-up artist, look no further. I've done the research for you! LOL :-) Seriously, Shana is the bomb! She's so down to earth, super friendly, beautiful, so easy to work with, and she really listens to the desires of your heart. And yes, she is worth every penny. You will not find a more talented, passionate, friendly, professional makeup artist than Shana. Her prices are very reasonable from my wedding research and trust me, I have done LOTS of research!

She books up quickly, but I noticed she is very, very good about getting back to you and answering your emails in a timely manner. (Who wants to be left hanging!?) She really cares about her clients! She is so easy going and made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day. She deserves every bit of praise from fellow brides and non-brides yet she stays humble about her talents. She didn't make me look like a totally different person. I looked (and felt) like myself, but a totally enhanced version! Heck, I felt like a million bucks!=)

Shana does amazing work, and I have and will continue to recommend her for both skincare and wedding make-up. She did my wedding make-up as well as my entire bridal party. Everyone was completed on time and looked gorgeous. She is an expert with eyes and does wonders with eyelashes!
She even scheduled my trial for the day we did our engagement photos so that my make-up was perfect for those too. Looking back at my wedding day, one of the things that I am still most happy about is how I looked that day; my make-up was flawless and timeless, and was done right for photography without looking overdone or unnatural.

Shana does a wide range of make-up from natural to dramatic. She listens to what you want and delivers. I have been back to her multiple times since my own wedding and she has never disappointed me nor my family and friends. Shana has been a staple in majority of our events and I tell everyone about her because I believe she is the best in make-up and skin care, not to mention always professional.

Never felt more beautiful then when Shana did my wedding makeup.

I first met Shana at the Cal Expo Bridal Show in 2006. I started regular skin treatments about a year prior to my wedding and I was very impressed with her enthusiasm, knowledge of products, and most importantly, my results. Shana did bridal make up for myself and my wedding party in 2007 and we were all very pleased. I have referred several friends and family members to her for both skin and make up services and will continue to do so!

Shana is such a delight to work with! When I met her for the first time during my trial, I was easily drawn to her high level of professionalism and amazing talent. Not only is she really friendly and very considerate to her clients needs, but she has also exceeded my expectations as my make-up artist on my wedding day. She only uses high-quality products, so my make-up was guaranteed to last the entire day… and it did! Shana is great to work with! When I first met Shana for my trial make up session, I knew I had made an excellent selection. It was my birthday and she did an amazing job! She has positive energy and works quickly.

On the day of our wedding, she was on time and immediately got her station set up. We all enjoyed having her make us look our best! My mom looked beautiful and received compliments from everyone. It was wonderful to see her looking so youthful and she kept batting those lashes at her grandsons!

I felt beautiful and when we got the pictures back, it was true! I would highly recommend Shana. The only issue we had was one of my maid of honor's lashes came off early so she had to take the other one off before the ceremony. I was getting pre-ceremony pictures done when it happened or I could have saved the day with some extra glue that was in my emergency bag.

I would use Shana again for any special occasion. She is very talented.

She does quality work, and and is someone you can count on. Her personality is the perfect match for any bride on her big day. Shana is calm and comforting and aims to please. Shana did a great job on wedding makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms. She made every one of us feel extra beautiful. She does her work very well and surprisingly fast/efficiently (30 mins/person). Other vendors I worked with gave her glowing reviews, which shows that she's a real pro. Her prices are on the higher end, but if you have room in the budget you can be confident she will do a great job.

Shana is very professional, dependable, flexible and creative! She made my sister (the bride) and the bridesmaids who signed up for her services very beautiful! I have to say it was my first time wearing false lashes and I was shocked at what a difference it makes! She even accomodated doing a 'mini make up' job for my 10 year old (junior bridesmaid/flower girl), so she wouldn't feel left out (and loves make up already). My only concern was that it wasn't inexpensive, but then again, I have only been to free make up sessions all my life, so what do I know in this arena? ;-) Thank you Shana for the great service overall!
