Shane Co.

We worked with Kinga at the Tigard, OR store. She took us through the different styles of settings (halo, channel, cathedral, etc.). We picked out three at a time and compared them to one another. When we were ready to look at a 4th, we had to put back one of the three we liked least. Finally we narrowed down the selection to our top 2.

She provided diamond education on cut, clarity, color, etc. showing us different stones representing various grades for each of the aspects. We looked at the stones through the loop and identified exactly what she shared with us for each stone. With the education provided, we knew our desired grade for color and clarity. We had a carat range, since 5pts doesn't make much difference more or less. But we couldn't find a stone at our budget. So, we took to the search engine at the store computer. We located an item that we wanted to see, but the inventory computer was indicating the stone was out. Kinga let us know that she would check the end of day inventory and let us know which store had that stone.

Kinga phoned us first thing in the morning to let us know that the stone was in Tigard. We went down there that afternoon. She had the setting and stone all ready for our viewing, and wanted to make sure we inspected it for satisfaction.

I had my band sized up (6 to 7), since when I was trying bands on, my finger got swollen. After having the ring for 2 weeks, It as flopping around on my ringer like a fish. So, I had it sized down (7 to 6). Within 3 months, I had lost 2 of the smaller pave stones. The first time, Shane Co replaced it as part of the warranty agreement. The second time, it was though to be due to sizing up/down. So, we exchanged my band for a 6 from the factory and reset my solitaire stone in the new setting. It's been 7 months since then and I've had no issues.

I want to say that everyone at Shane co. made our experience easy, enjoyable and made me want to spend more!! Amber, Britney and Lori (store manager) were amazing. The time and effort Amber put in to helping my fiance with his ring selection, and my ring, was top notch. Even when she knew we were going to look at Genesis she still continued to help me later over the phone to get exactly what I wanted!

My fiance and I had all of our wedding jewelry done at the Shane Co in Overland Park (Kansas City area). They custom made my beautiful engagement ring and will be engraving my fiance's wedding band in accordance with a family tradition. This is one of the few places I was able to find anywhere that engraves on the outside of rings- most jewelers will only do the inside.
Everyone that has helped us at this store has been excellent. Shane Co does not pay commission, and it shows in how you are treated. We had shopped around at a major jeweler to be pushed, pressured, and pay nearly three times as much for my ring if we had gone with them.

This was the best customer service we got anywhere... we got my engagement ring here, and I changed my mind and decided to return it. The staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and professional every step of the way. We will definitely be back for other jewelry.

My Husband gave me his grand mothers ring as my engagement ring. it is absolutely amazing and so precious to me. This ring is from the 1920's and because he didn't know if I wanted to take the diamonds from it make something more current or keep it as it was he gave it to me as is. I chose to keep it as is to show the history however it still needed so work since it was so old. We took it to Shane Co to have it sized, re dipped and shanked. I was so anxious to receive it back. Shane Co did a great job and quickly. I receive so many compliments on it. I would recommend Shane Co to anyone in the market for jewelery or jewelry repair.

We had my engagement ring done custom, but we searched for a matching band for months. Shane Co had the exact band that I wanted at an extremely reasonable price. This location has very helpful and professional staff members, however I must note that the location in Westminster should be avoided. I have never had very good luck with their professionalism nor with their helpfulness. In fact, the ring that was provided to me by the Littleton location, I was told they couldn't make my size for the ring by the Westminster location. Just and FYI =)

My husband and I only buy our jewelry at Shane Co. The sales associates are always professional and courteous. Their knowledge base is strong and I love the fact that we can make a custom piece of jewelry so that we get exactly what we want. What sets them apart from other jewelers is: 1). My husband got my engagement ring from Shane Company and I absolutely love it. The service is always great when I go to the Duluth, GA Location and I always recommend them to my friends.

My boyfriend and I started looking at Shane Co. for an engagement ring, but wanted to look at other jewelers to make sure that we were getting what we wanted and for a good price.

After leaving Shane Co, we went to Distinctive Diamonds. My first reaction is that there was a sheriff's deputy sitting at the front door and greeting you. It made me feel like I was in the ghetto somewhere. After getting over that, we ended up having trouble getting someone to actually help us. When we finally did have someone help us, I told the sales lady what I liked and she took me to something totally different and tried to talk me into something else. Needless to say, we were less than pleased.

Then we went across the street to Jared. The sales lady pulled a couple of diamonds for me to see, one of which was their signature "Leo" diamond. My first reaction was, "OMG, this is yellow!" When I told her that I felt it looked a little yellow, she said that it was because of the yellow walls and that we would need to go outside to see how it sparkles. We did end up doing this, but my gut reaction was that even a CZ would look pretty and sparkle outside, what is that going to tell me? They also kept taking my boyfriend away from me and talking him into things that I probably otherwise wouldn't have let him be talked in to. They ended up, before I even knew it, telling him that the diamonds and setting that I was looking at couldn't be guarenteed to be there unless he applied for a Jared card and bought it all today with the thought that he could cancel it within 30 days if he wanted to. Even though the price was $500 over what he said his budget was, he reluctantly went through with this option because she said "I can't do any better than that", but had buyers remorse afterwards. He also learned after paying and taking a closer look at the receipt, Jared had some hidden fees that we were not expecting including a fee to set the diamond in the setting and a fee for the warranty.

We then went to dinner and talked about how when we left Shane Co. we felt all warm and fuzzy inside and when we left Jared, we felt like we had been duped. The next day, my boyfriend called to make an appt to go back to Shane Co and talk to Jen P. so that we could see again what they had to offer and compare it to what we had seen and been talked into at Jared.

We went to Shane Co again today and saw Jen P. for a second time. She was awesome!! She was able to answer all of our questions for us about what we were feeling uneasy about with Jared as well as educated us on the actual diamonds and settings. She also asked what my boyfriend's budget was and actually was able to keep us not only within it, but even a little under (including tax)! (He was thrilled!) There were no hidden fees on the receipt either, just the diamond and the setting like we had talked about. We walked out of there extremely happy and comfortable with the decision we had just made. We also had a better quality setting and diamond than we were looking at at Jared and it was $1,000 cheaper!

We immediately left Shane Co. and drove to Jared to sign the papers to cancel the stuff my boyfriend he kept on hold. We will be doing all of our business at Shane Co. from now on! We are very satisfied customers and would recommend them to anyone!

Amazing value, Great customer service.

I have founded at ShaneCo , what i needed. Before going to the store, i have been thru all the stores arround Portland .Of course i had a budget in mind, and also i was looking for the quality .All the other stores were selling lower quality stones for my budget. So , ShaneCo here i am going to visit you . Service customer was really nice and polite, and they helped me with everything i needed, as soon i walked in the store. I did my homework at home, so basically i had a print out of the ring i was looking for. They told me that the stone is in Georgia, and the ring in a different location, but they will be there tuesday today being friday. Overall it was a great experience, way better then going to all the other stores in the Mall.

What can you say about Shane Co. but they are amazing! My husband and my mom spent over two hours looking at stones and the stone my husband picked out for my engagement ring is absolutly gorgeous with the most minimal of flaws, their even hard to see with the jewelers magnifier. The don't charge for cleanings, sautering, and if you keep up with the maintenance program they'll even replace diamonds for you at no charge! I love my rings and am so happy my husband made the choice he did.

They were so cooperative when we returned my engagement ring. There was no hassle at all. We ended up buying both wedding bands from them because we loved doing business with them so much the first time, even though I went with a different engagement ring.

LOST PRECIOUS SAPPHIRE EARRING. I was devastated when I discovered one side was gone, I'd just bought this set less than a year ago. My husband suggested I go to back to Shane Co in Westminster where we've been customers since 2003 (with purchases ranging from earring studs to my wedding ring), and see what they could do for me. I was prepared to spend $$$ because NO jewelry company would just replace - no questions asked!! Boy was I wrong! I frantically explained my situation and showing the existing stud to a sales rep: JOSH, who immediately tried to calm me down. Then to my surprise, he told me it could be replaced at NO COST! Josh was extremely patient and helpful. He took me to the cashier to give me paperwork and a pick up date then, with a smile, sent me on my way.

They also keep record of what ring you have and when I go to pick up my ring they have me take a look at the diamond where each diamond has a special cut to it and show it to me every time so that I know I am walking out of that store every time with MY diamond. Shane company wasn't the first place that we looked at for our wedding bands, but it was the last! We originally went to a closer store first, but weren't satisfied with what we were getting for the price. Based on a friend's advice we made 20 minute drive to the store in Cool Springs. Their service was great and they were willing to help educate us on the different metals, style, etc. We ended up getting all of our rings there and were highly satisfied with what we got. Also, their service after you buy jewelry is great. Our rings can be inspected and cleaned for free whenever we want. I would recommend them to anyone!

We have used Shane Co. since 2005 when I got my engagement ring. Since then they have become the family jeweler of our household, and we have purchased numerous gifts and other pieces from them.

We recently purchased our wedding bands and the service and value are both outstanding. The employees don't work on commission so each and every person we have ever dealt with has been just amazing, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.

They offer a six month buff, polish and rhodium replating service. As a typical, frazzled bride, I waited until the last minute to have that done before the wedding and although they were running on a longer turnaround time than usual, they graciously accommodated me and had the ring done in record time. LOVE LOVE LOVE My wedding ring. Our first experience with ShaneCo was for our wedding ring, let me just say we have been in several other times since then haha. I always thought that I hated jewelry stores until I had my first ShaneCo experience. Its unlike any other jewelry store. The staff is not paid on commission so they dont jump on you as soon as you walk in the door and hover over you. They do however make themselves available when you have questions or need help. They are very courteous! The jewelry is very unique (again love my engagement ring! I have never seen anything like it!) and I love that they stand by their products. They come with a lifetime warranty. I also love how easy it is to just drop in and get my jewelry clean when I am in the area.

My girlfriend, and soon to be fiance, and I strolled into ShaneCo today to browse rings with no real intention of deciding on either a setting or a diamond; however, it turned out to be quite the opposite after we were done with our experience. We were greeted very quickly by a consultant (Tracy) upon entering, and after she introduced herself to us, we immediately felt welcome and at ease. She methodically explained the diamond rating system to both of us while we browsed ShaneCo's wide selection of stones, and we never felt pressured or strong-armed into making a decision during the entire experience.

To make a long story short, we ended up actually deciding on a ring setting before heading off to check out diamonds at another jeweler that was in the area, which I won't mention, but our experience there was so opposite to what we had encountered at ShaneCo that we headed back to browse and talk some more with Tracy before they closed. We ended up staying and browsing stones with Tracy well after they had closed for the day, and we both walked out of there receipts in hand and very satisfied and confident with our purchases. We ended up having another great experience with a different consultant (this time it was Christa), and we ended up upgrading to an even better quality diamond for just a nominal increase in price. They were always patient and willing to help. They did a great job of polishing it up for the big day as well. All of these services are provided free of charge.

I love my rings. They are beautiful and Shane Co. was wonderful to us. My ring got slightly bent when my dog took off through a door on her leash. My hand slammed into the door. I took the ring to them to get it cleaned and they straightened it for me. We are planning on using them for all future jewelry pruchases. Far better experience than we have had elsewhere.

I knew I wanted a sapphire engagment ring and this was the only store that actually had loose sapphires in store to choose from to build my ring! It is stunning!! I am always getting ooooos and aahhhs about my unique and sparkly ring.

Shane Company is wonderful! We purchased my engagement ring at the Shane Company in Westminster, and purchased my band at the Shane Company off of Arapahoe Road. Both are beautiful rose gold pieces and were within our price range.

The week after my wedding, I noticed that my band, which is encircled halfway by small diamonds, was missing a diamond. We went to the Shane Company in Denver that night and, since they didn't have the correct materials to fix the ring (they needed rose gold wire), they found me a new, identical band, sized and soldered it to my engagement ring (something else I'd wanted done) in an hour and gave us a gift card to go out to dinner on them while we waited! Amazing service and beautiful jewelry!

We went to Shane after looking at jewelry stores in the mall a few times. The salespeople at Shane are super helpful and patient. They don't work on commission so they don't try to up-sell you, they really seem to want to help you find what you are looking for in your price range. Their service plan is also incredible. You could probably find a cheaper place but with Shane you know that if you lose your diamond they will replace it, and they can clean you ring for you while you wait. They also do the re-sizing super fast.

Shane Co. continues to amaze me. My husband bought my engagement ring through them, and we noticed a small diamond missing right after the proposal. They fixed it one day (free of charge!), and it looked as sparkling as when we first picked it out. We loved them so much, we purchased both of our bands there. Every time I go in, they clean my rings, and I get even more compliments for the weeks that follow the cleanings. The greatest thing is that they do not work on commission, so they have more fun with you and you never feel pressured. I love the staff, and their selections are unique.
