Sharmaines Salon and Day Spa

My bridal party and I had a great time at the salon on my wedding day. They are a little pricey but overall the experience was wonderful.

Everyone at Sharmaine's was wonderful. I had a massage a few days before the wedding which I would highly recommend. Jaime did my hair and came up with some great ideas. My hair stayed looking nice the whole evening.

Well, I am not sure where to start.
1. Flor was AWESOME! If you dare to step foot into this establishment, make sure you are dealing with Flor. She did a wonderful job on two of my bridesmaids.
2. I was the bride and I have a strong personality so I have no problem dealing with people who have little to no polite people skills and feel that there time is more valuable than yours (Dawn).

You think that when dealing with a wedding party who comes in and is looking for simple hair do's in knowing that will be paying in the $70 range for some curls and bobby pins.........they might go out of their way to make sure that you are happy and your wedding party is happy as well and not as if you are a waste of their time and should feel lucky that they graced you with their presence on your wedding day and you have nothing better to do.

Everything seemed to be fine while I was there, everyone had their appointments and was good to go. I even purchased some makeup from them and tipped heavily, hoping that would ensure the rest of the party got what they needed. I did not like my hair, but I should have spoke up. We were the only one's in the salon.

All of the sudden I was back at the hotel getting things together for my wedding and my little sister called me so upset, crying and sounding so disappointed. This is not what a bride wants to deal with on her wedding day. She was told that Dawn couldn't do her hair anymore because she ran out of time and maybe if she hung around she could fit her in later....this was at 12:30, we had to be at the wedding by 2 at the latest and still needed to finish getting ready . She chose to fit a blow out infront of my little sister who was part of a bridal party that had been there since 10. Then, not only did she do that, she had the nerve to get lippy with my little sister and belittle her. I am not sure who she thought she was, she works for the people that pay her that's what stylist do.

Not pleased at all, will never go back and will definitely let everyone I know know about our experience.

I got my nails, hair and makeup done. Everyone was very nice. My nails lasted for several days and my makeup did not budge! It was very windy out that day, so my updo did not stay up very well in the back. I would ask for more hair spray and tighter curls if I could do it over. She did a great job, but after an hour outside, it fell enough to not look so great.

I had a bridal party in for manicures and pedicures, with a couple of waxings. The pedicures were okay, and the manicures with regular polish were okay as well. The first eyebrow was was okay, too.The trouble came with the french manicure. I had a shellac french manicure done by Donna, who was very nice, but when it was finished I almost cried. It was so uneven! I kept waiting for her to clean up the line from the white polish, but she never did. It was probably the worst french manicure I have ever had. She was very apologetic, and made me an appointment for the next day to have it redone with Ashley, who was absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately, the following day my other daughter came into town and needed a mani/pedi and some waxing. Well, her french manicure was almost as bad as the first one I had and the person who waxed her eyebrows almost ruined them.
I have never written a bad review before, but for the amount of money I paid to this salon, I would have expected MUCH better service. If you go there, don't have a french manicure unless it is with Ashley Knowles!

I got hair and make-up done here . I brought a pic of the hairstyle I wanted and it tuned out just like it! Beautiful work, just a little pricey.

I had a great experience with all of the staff there. Jamie did my hair and the other staff did my bridesmaids. They did a great job and we all looked great. The office is very high class and you feel very pampered.

I was a bit nervous when walking over to the salon. From the outside you might be fooled but once I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. I had my make up air brushed on which was an amazing natural look that lasted all night long. My hair was also amazing. My friends and bridesmaids also had their hair and make up done, and everyone was pleased and looked amazing. What an incredible all around experience!

I loved the way they styled my hair, but I think they were way too pricey. For my prebridal I was there for 20 min and they charged $50. I paid for a bridesmaid and she just had her hair curled and they charged $75. My make-up came out nice but I felt extremely rushed. I had false eyelashes and one of them wasn’t on right, but the woman pretended to not see it, even though it was completely noticeable. Additionally, no one was friendly; they were very aloof and treated everyone as a number or more like a chore (with the exception of Amanda)

Very rarely do you find a salon that is as wonderful as this one. The service was excellent and my bridesmaids looked like princesses! I looked like a regal beauty...it was wonderful! The women who work here were so nice and funny and really knew how to calm my nerves! They also had beautiful little hair jewels and necklaces and some wonderful hairpieces for my bridesmaids and I to choose from.
