Kristen and Deana are AMAZING! They were with me every step of the wedding planning process and our wedding day was absolutely perfect, thanks to them. Kristen was more than a wedding planner to me. She was the person I talked to almost every day and she was incredibly patient with me when I kept changing the location and date of the wedding. With my husband and I’s super busy schedules and the fact that we were planning a wedding from a different state, we knew we needed someone that could take the stress away from planning the wedding. Kristen and Deana did an awesome job of taking care of us and being flexible by meeting with us on the weekends if needed. They always responded to my million emails right away. They were always coming up with great ideas and had minute-by-minute schedules for everything. We gave them the daunting task of hanging 1,000 origami cranes at our ceremony site and they executed it perfectly! This was just one of the situations where we gave them very vague guidance and they pulled off something extraordinary. The day of the wedding, I was blown away when I saw everything put together because it was a thousand times better than anything I could have ever imagined. Our wedding truly looked like one of those weddings you see in a magazine. I was super impressed by how they interacted with the other vendors and kept everyone on the same page. Our wedding day was flawless and even if something did go wrong, I never knew about it because Kristen and Deana were on top of it. The entire day was stress-free and all my husband and I had to do was show up! Their services are really affordable and they really do treat you like you’re the only bride in the world. I highly recommend hiring a wedding planner and after my experience with Kristen and Deana, I wouldn’t hire anybody else!
Shenanigans made this wedding a dream come true. From day one Kristen Knight managed all aspects of the event for us including vendors, invitations, transportation, beauty, venue & printing. She has a true gift for visualizing ALL details of a wedding and reception, especially decor. When I saw the reception room for the first time it was so breath-taking it brought tears to my eyes. In addition, she has connections to some of the most awesome vendors in the business. Our DJ, florist and cake people were extraordinary. Best of all, Shenanigans literally paid for itself with vendor discounts, budget planning and knowing exactly were to get a bargain while still maintaining quality. The bride lived out of state and flew in on occasion for planning. Shenanigans would contact vendors, arrange meetings and send us a detailed itinerary, then accompany us. She knew exactly what needed to be done and when, and kept us on schedule. We could not have given our daughter such a beautiful wedding without Shenanigans. We did not have the talent to do what a professional wedding planner can. It made all the difference in the world.
This vendor really goes above and beyond to understand the overall concept of your vision. She makes suggestions to help steer you if aren't sure but does not make you feel uncomortable if you don't agree with her suggestions. She makes sure you understand that it is your wedding and she is here to help you.

She doesnt want you to have to spend money that you dont have to. She also works with AMAZING vendors who will help make your day perfect... floral, dj, venues, photographer and videography.

I just remember my breath being taken away when I walked into my reception because it looked absolutly amazing! She had the vision and made it more than I could ask for. Thanks Shenanigans!!! Kristen and her Shenanigans team do just what their motto states--"they treat every event as if it were their own". Kristen was recommended to me, and hiring her was the smartest decision I made in the wedding process. I travel a lot for work, my fiance lives out of state and we chose a reception venue that didn't provide any wedding services--we needed help! She matched me with vendors she saw as my best fit (personality and budget wise), suggested lots of ideas and helped in picking up decor items. Her diplomacy and professional advice really came in handy when my mom and I didn't quite see eye to eye on things. I was able to truly relax and enjoy my wedding week because I knew Shenanigans was there taking care of all the details. I can't recommend their services enough......
Kristen worked with us for over a year planning every little detail. She became like our family by the end. She makes you feel like you are her only client and by far the most important! She handled everything down to the little detail on the day of and let my mother and myself enjoy the wedding. Everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything different. Because of her my mom and I grew closer through the process where so many mothers and daughters grow apart. I'm sad to stop talking to Kristen and plan on using her any chance I get. Anyone that gets engaged would be lucky to have her.
I would highly recommend hiring Kristen from Shenanigans to help with your wedding! Before Kristen I felt lost and overwhelmed by the whole planning process and found myself struggling to even start it. Kristen helped me pick out some amazing vendors and together we came up with décor for the venue that turned out gorgeous on the wedding day. She even did special hand crafted touches like my cake base, flower girl baskets and flower buckets on the aisle. All my guests kept telling me how everything was beautiful and how they had so much fun. The wedding ran smoothly because of Kristen and it was a perfect day my husband and I will remember forever! And the best part is that I wasn’t stressed out through the whole process at all because I had Kristen :)
Kristen at Shenanigans was so great to work with. I knew from the initial phone conversations we were a fit! She came to the table with many great ideas (especially in the decor department) and never shot my ideas down. I'm so happy we used Kristen - the day of went so much more smoothly than my friend's weddings who didn't use a planner (or who did but wasn't as good as Shenanigans!)
Kristen & her team from Shenanigans were WONDERFUL to work with. Kristen is very hands on and listen's to what the bride and/or groom would like to see and do for their big day! I brought to the table my ideas and Kristen made them happen. Her contacts with vendors saved me more money then her costs, that's a no brain-er win win right there! I can't say enough wonderful things about Shenanigans...from start to finish Kristen was wonderful. People would always comment that I was never stressed and my response was always because I had a planner that was AMAZING and took care of everything.
Only 3 days after our big event and I am having withdrawals not having to call Kristen or email with her about something. She truly was heaven sent!

I couldn't have had the wedding of my dreams without Shenanigans Weddings and Events. They take a personal intrest in all of their events and really treated me like I was a friend not just a client. * Platinum - Event Management - for the bride who has chosen key elements of the wedding, but needs assistance with day to day tasks and day of wedding coordination
* Gold - Wedding Consultation and Planning Advice - for the bride who wants to plan her big day, but needs help getting started
