Sherrill's Flowers

The prices are really great for the amount of flowers you receive, its just that the flowers you end up with is not what you wanted in the first place. After giving me the wrong bridal bouquet, denied ever discussing what I even wanted in the first place. I do not recommend his services!!

sherrill is SO nice and welcoming, but my flowers were not what i asked for and were not what i had contracted for. he did a nice job on my altar flowers, but my bridesmaid bouquets were not at all what i had asked for and it was disappointing. too bad because he is so fun to work with.

Although my flowers turned out okay, they were not exactly what I wanted. I also brought pictures of what I wanted fior my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquet and my flowers did not look like anything like my pictures. My friend and I both booked this florist for our weddings and we experienced some difficulty when dealing with this vendor. The week before my wedding Sherrill called me and since I was really busy at work I had my mother call him back and she left him a message. In her message she asked him to call her instead of me because I was working late all week. I then got a rude email from him saying how he has been trying to contact me and he got no response. I called him back and confronted him about this and got in an argument about his professionalism. He never apologized, and I was very turned off by this. If it was not so close to the wedding I would have gone with another vendor. He was definitely not the most professional when it came to certain things.

I used Sherrill's Flowers based on a recommendation from another vendor. Since my wedding was in a city other than where I lived, I conducted my floral interviews over the phone and this gentleman spoke very intelligently and seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and would work with me to ensure it's exactly what I envisioned. After getting the quote I agreed to use him as my vendor.

I went home for a visit about four months before my wedding and had an in person consultation with Sherrill. He tried to get me to change my ideas about what I wanted. He even got the buy in of my mother by appealing to her sense of style and not mine. I even had a picture of what I discussed with him on the phone and he still tried to sway me in another direction. I wanted simple and chic and he was trying to go over the top and keep adding in flowers and make them "Texas" big. Not at all what I had envisioned.

I finally put my foot down as politely as possible and told him to do the flowers as per my request or we would go elsewhere. He agreed, but after 45 minutes of him trying to convince me otherwise.

Then, on the day of the wedding, some of the flowers in my bouquet and in my bridesmaids bouquets were wilted. My grandmother's coursage fell apart 2 minutes before she went down the aisle and apparently there were bugs in the flowers he used for my table decorations.

After all of these issues were brought to his attention, we never even received an apology for the issues or explanation of what went wrong. I would definitely NOT recommend this vendor.
