After meeting with a few florists in my area we decided to go with Shirvan Designs since Arsine seemed extremely experienced and could see my vision for our wedding. I corresponded with her over the phone and sometimes I would stop by the store to make sure she was aware of the changes in my colors or ideas. We went in for one centerpiece sample; it was more like a work in progress to see what I wanted. By the end of our meeting we had finalized details of my centerpieces. Two weeks before our wedding we went in one more time to go over all of the details, make all of the final choices, and pay for her services. She was always very knowledgeable and gave us comfort that everything would be perfect. She also told us to come in the night before the wedding to inspect all of the flowers and make sure that I liked everything. I did not like the bouquets that they had made for both of the moms, and when I told her she immediately told her assistant, Art, to make new ones that I liked. In the end I was very pleased with the results. My bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous! Each of my centerpieces were about 2.5 feet in diameter and would stand on top of tall chloe vases with crystals hanging from the top. All of the guests raved about how beautiful the flowers were and how huge the centerpieces were.

I noticed that since our wedding Shrivan Designs has expanded into a full service event and floral design company and has a new website. I would totally recommend them, even though at first she seemed a little pushy to me, I am so glad we went with her.

Arsine at Shirvan was such a pleasure to work with. My venue was not a typical wedding venue and basically had to be transformed. I had a vision in my head and Arsine surpassed all of my expectations for our flowers! She was the only vendor where the original quote came in below my actual budget without even telling her what my budget was. Most places do not offer a trial and with Shirvan it is included in the package. After my trial I was having some doubts about how it came out and Arsine was very patient and open to making all of the changes I wanted. I didn't have a chance to go back and meet with her before the wedding, but when I saw all of the flowers I was blown away! She did an amazing job! I would highly recommend Shirvan for any special event!

I recommend Shirvan Designs! The flowers were beautiful and they really listen to what you want. The only thing i can say is there was some miscommunication between what pictures were sent of our trial and what we were actually getting. That was a little disappointing. So just be very clear as to EXACTLY what you are getting from them. Our flowers were beautiful and the price was right. I would recommend them for your wedding

These guys are great!! Arsine was our florist but we dealt with Art quite a bit too and they were both great, organized, skilled, very knowledgable and super nice. They did a wonderful arrangement for our decor and the bouquets and stuck within our budget.

I highly recommend Shirvan Designs! I found Shirvan at a bridal show, after searching high and low for a florist who 'got' what I wanted. I didn't want traditional centerpieces. I wanted something edgy and different, and Shirvan delivered.

We worked with Art, Joel, and Arsine. All were professional and obviously know what they are doing. About a week before our wedding, I met with Arsine regarding some concerns with the church and to come up with some ideas as to how to 'spiff' it up. She promised me she'd make it fabulous, and boy, did she deliver. I was amazed when I walked into the church that day. Our altar pieces were huge and gorgeous. Even the pew arrangements were huge, with more than a dozen roses in each of them! My bouquet was beautiful, and the bridesmaid's and mother's bouquets were, too.

Shirvan transported all of the flowers from our church to the reception site. It was so nice not having to worry about dragging the flowers there ourselves. They managed to re-use all of the flowers from the church at the reception, which I appreciated. There were flowers all over the reception! They re-used all of the pew arrangements, all of the altar pieces- nothing was wasted.

Overall, I cannot recommend Shirvan enough. We got so many compliments on our flowers- we had guests asking if they could take our centerpieces home! Thanks, Shirvan, for making our day beautiful.

Dispite some miscommunication in the begining, my flowers and decorations were beautiful. I was very pleased with their work. Arsine can come off a little pushy, but she knows her business and does it well.

There are not enough words to express my satisfaction with Shivan. When I showed up for my first appointment, even though my planner had given a incorrect description of my vision. The owner sat me down and within a 1/2 hour, she completely understood exactly where I wanted to go with flowers, and kept it within a good price range.

Even though it was a very long appointment, i must say by the time I was done, the arrangements were exactly as I was hoping. Our wedding was a beach theme..and she went out of her way to get a variety of sea shells. My wedding was a stunning affair that people are still talking about. Thank you Arsine and your team for all your hard work.

I am happy to recommend Shirvan Designs to anyone planning a wedding. I had all red roses and they were absolutely fabulous! The deepest red...absolutely beautiful. All of the guests remarked on how beautiful the flowers were...the photographs were amazing.

They were able to move flowers from the church to the reception, which I was skeptical of at first, but it was abolutely seamless & resulted in a significant cost savings.

Art and Arsine were a pleasure to work with.

WORST experience ever! Does not even deserve 1 star. I wish, I wish, I wish I read reviews before signing a contract with Arsine. I met her at the LA bridal show and she was very pleasant (because she wanted business), but wait until you sign the contract.. you will just be another number! I should have realized how I couldn't trust her when she bad mouthed her past employees (the ones that left her and now opened their own florist shop). I also wondered why she went through soo many assistants. They probably found out that she really is not pleasant and deceiving to work with. Oh my, was my experience horrible! Reading the reviews below about how "what is stated on the contract" and what she "actually" delivers is crazy! We actually had an arguement the day before my wedding!! Who does that to a bride? I remember one comment she made was, "For what you are spending, I am wasting my time." WOW!! Certain items we reviewed on the contract was not what we spoke about. Then when I questioned her at why things were not done correctly she said, "I am an artist and we might change things to better suit your wedding." This is bullshit!! She didn't pay attention and created what "she wanted". Wouldn't a professional vendor say, "hello bride, I know we spoke about white roses, but I was thinking about pink roses, what do you think about my new idea?" She didn't even ask, she did what she wanted because SHE DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE CONTRACT! Arsine was a waste of time and money. I was sooo disappointed in my flowers. The bouquet in the picture was taken only from the top because the bouquet was falling apart and had brown flowers. My "free" bouquet toss was a flimsy bouquet that consisted of 4 roses. I was sooo embarrassed to throw that bouquet that my caterer handed me the cake flowers to make it look bigger. The $100 scatter of rose petals were also deceiving. She showed me pictures of how it would look to have roses scattered in the aisle and again! It looked nothing like the pictures. I was so embarrassed! The bouquet for the bridemaids were smaller then what we talked about, the arch for $350.00 was also cheezy. She said it would be a wrought iron arch. It turned out to be a flimsy white arch that looked ridiculous. She "had no pictures" to show me.... I wonder now why she had no pictures! The list goes on. Arsine is good at one thing... it is selling her business and closing the deal. She should get an award for "closing deals" and being a saleswomen. She is definitely not a person you can trust. If you are spending a lot of money, then you will matter to her. She does not take pride into establishing her company into a reputable business. She only cares about bringing money into her wallet. Think about it... it is a one time event, your wedding day. Don't you want piece of mind that your flowers will arrive at how you imagined? If you think about it, brides are in NO control of your floral arrangements. Basically, you have to trust your florists because whatever they bring the day of your wedding, is what your going to get!! You can't complain because what can you do... the show must go on! This is probably why she stays in business, because who can complain when the flowers are already delivered. Please take my advice and #1. Read Reviews #2. Find a reputable professional florists recommended by others #3. Trust your gut instict.

The folks at Shirvan were amazing. My husband and I were on a tight budget and they worked with us to make our decor pop without costing too much. They decorated our ceremony location, our cake and our reception with large bouquets of fresh flowers. They also provided my bouquet, my bridesmaids' flowers and all the corsages for everyone else. I got to preview everything the day before and they even re-did my bouquet when their first try didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped. They did custom-sized cakeplate wreaths for each of the tables at our reception for the centerpieces. Everything came out the correct color and exactly as I had imagined it. Highest marks!

I was pleased with most of our flowers, but there were some major problems with our order. Specifically, the bridesmaid's bouquets were not the same as the ones we ordered (and paid for) according to our written contract - large flowers were included that were not part of our color palette. They looked pretty - but it was not what I was expecting.

I was told that there were "not enough flowers" to fill the layers between my cake, which again, was in the contract. And besides, who says that to a bride's face an hour before the ceremony??? The cake flowers ended up looking okay on the side that faced the guests, but I was worried about it going into the reception.

I was also given a toss bouquet, which I had specifically said that I did not want or intend to use. It got tossed - in the trash - at the end of the night. Wish I had those flowers on my cake...

What was most disappointing was that my bridal bouquet was falling apart before the ceremony even began. There was also a brown spot in one area which began to show after the petals started falling off. I had an antigue heirloom pin on my bouquet, but could not face this out during my walk down the isle because that side of my bouquet was literally falling apart. I had to take a lot of my pictures after the ceremony without the bouquet because it was in such sorry shape.

Basically, the worst thing about this vendor is that they are crummy listeners. Do not assume that you will get what you contracted. Their talent, however, is undeniable and they knew my site well and worked there often (which is why I hired them to begin with). The layout of the flowers was excellent and the centerpieces were a great value. I would not pay the $150 for the rose petal aisle border - it was VERY sparse. Overall, the flowers were pretty, but I would not use this florist again for a special event.

My experience was pretty similar to Starwell's (below). The table arrangements and altar decoration were beautiful, but the bouts and bouquets weren't the right colors (not terrible, but not right). Literally every other vendor we worked with was friendly and accommodating, but Shirvan always seemed to make a big deal over everything we asked. They also were very pushy on the first meeting. They're the only vendor that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth - not that they screwed anything up terribly, just that I wish I had given someone else our money.

We used Shirvan for our wedding and we were so happy with not only the price (and how much we got for it), but the attention to detail. I wanted things very simple but elegant and Arsine pulled it off. She was the only florist I interviewed and didn't look any further. Photo 1 Photo 2

They arranged everything for our wedding in Cabo San Lucas....and being always on business trips between London & Los Angeles... i have to admit I was a bit nervous.

We are certainly glad we went with them as our wedding pictures just came today, reminding us how beautiful they were. They had great contacts for photographers, linens etc...good stuff.

We definitely give Shirvan our highest recommendation. Most of our interaction was with Arsine, who is an outstanding artist of flowers. She thinks about your entire room, versus just your bouquet or centerpiece, and her work was key in making both our wedding and reception exquisitely beautiful. For Brides that have every detail about all of their flowers already set in their minds, I'm sure she will do a great job of making that come to life. We did not have such a detailed vision and greatly appreciated being able to work off of Arsine's imagination. Shirvan was also very reliable in delivery of our flowers for the ceremony and set-up of the reception. From our first meeting with her, we knew that she has an incredible fund of knowledge and is personally invested in making a beautiful wedding and she did not disappoint.

The flowers were amazing, the service was five star, and definitely their prices were great. They worked very hard to capture my vision and ideas. On my wedding day when I walked into the room, I was in tears! I could not believe how amazing everything looked. I got so many compliments on all of my wedding flowers from my guests and friends. Those comments made my day even more fantastic. The flower designers had spent such a great deal of time working on all the details that everything looked like a perfect picture! The best thing of all that they offered me to check out all the finished work the night before my wedding which really made me feel reassured. Shirvan Designs is a must see florist!!!

Shirvan Design came highly recommended and I could not have been happier with my decision to use them. From the initial meeting through the wedding day, everyone was so nice! The designs speak for themselves, they were absolutely gorgeous. They made the most beautiful pieces and fit comfortably within our budget. If you are getting married, go talk to them. They will take care of you.

Shirvan designs was the best vendor I had for my wedding. They transformed the ballroom into an unbeleivable setting. The flowers, the lighting, and the linens were done by them and everything was fantastic.
The staff was caring and extremly professional. I could not have asked for a better florist. I would recommend them to any one who wants good service and beautiful flowers.

Brides, picture exactly what you want your wedding to look like, flowers, lighting, candles and overall atmosphere. . and now picture it 150% more!!! thats exactly how my breath was taken the day of my wedding. . everything was like a fantasy! actually, it was more than what i had fantasized! they are dependable, very reasonably priced, respectful and absolutely brilliant! Arsine is one of the sweetest and most HONEST people i have ever met, and i will never forget how calm, beautiful and romantic Arsine and her crew made my wedding!! there was not one guest that was not in shock when walking into the room!
