Shore Sitters, LLC

We used Shore Sitters at my wedding in order to be able to offer our guests the opportunity to bring their children, but also to have fun without the kids for a bit. The company is very well run, with skilled and compentent child care providers on call. We had about a half dozen kids, most under 5, and several infants. Both the ceremony and reception were at a beach hotel, which was very familiar with Shore Sitters and their great work. The guests loved the option of leaving their children with the sitters for the whole or part of the time, especially as they were being watched in a room just down the hall from the wedding. Shore Sitters arrived early to meet parents, and stayed until the very end. Shore Sitters was definitely an essential addition to the entire wedding!

Mary Faire has provided us with great babysitters on several occasions. We always feel secure leaving our child in the hands of Shore Sitters.

Even though I don't have any kids, I've got 3 nephews and 1 niece and I strongly recommend Shore Sitters to everyone. Both my sister and my sister-in-law do not use any one besides Shore Sitters, and they have always been more than pleased. They're great for last minute nights out, and for multiple children. My best friend even had them at her wedding to help entertain the small children attending. Shore Sitters does it all! And the best part, they take credit cards! How easy can it get?

You have always been prompt with your return phone calls and I have always been pleased with the quality of the sitters provided. My grandchildren have enjoyed each of the young ladies who have stayed with them. I have never been disappointed with your service in any way.

Everyone who has been sent to us has been fabulous.. experienced, professional and engaging and fun with the children! I used Shore Sitters on several occasions when I was in between daytime child care to attend mandatory business functions, and one evening when my regular sitter canceled at the last minute. All of the sitters were on time, friendly, and responsible. Of course, it also set my mind at ease knowing they are CPR certified as well. I would definitely recommend Shore Sitters to anyone.

I have been using Shore Sitters for the last four years for my four year old son and six year old daughter. I have found Mary Faire to be very dependable and diligent about finding me a sitter for any occasion. Additionally, all of the many sitters I have used over the last four years have been very polite, respectful, dependable, and very willing to engage my children while watching them. I have two very active and “spirited”…and mostly well-behaved kids and I am confident that they would share any frustrations they had with any of the girls, however, that has not been the case. They have never complained about any of the sitters and likewise, neither have I.

I have used neighborhood sitters on a rare occasion and to me it doesn’t compare to using Shore Sitters. All of my sitters from Mary Faire’s group have been so much more mature and responsible and it gives me peace of mind to know I can leave my children with someone who’s attention is directed towards them while my husband and I are away. I will continue to choose Shore Sitters for any of my childcare needs.

Shore Sitters provides reliable, professional, intelligent sitters. Our children look forward to the sitters as much as we enjoy our evening out. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend this wonderful service.

Shore Sittters has been a lifesaver for us at Grace Bible Church! We first used them in May 2007 when we needed to provide childcare for a large off-site event. Since then, we have used them for various smaller events, usually on Sunday afternoons or evenings. Shore Sitters always sends us competent, enthusiastic employees. Most of them are college students, and many are education majors. They have always been prompt, pleasant to talk to, and knowledgeable about caring for children.

Another plus about Shore Sitters is the fact that the owner of the company, Mary Faire Garnett, is so easy to deal with. She has always been very responsive to our calls, as well as accommodating to our needs as a church. Sometimes we need childcare for very large groups, and other times for just 2 or 3 children – Mary Faire has been willing to help with both scenarios.

All in all, our experience with Shore Sitters has been extremely positive, and we will definitely continue to use them in the future!

All of the sitters have been responsible, my kids have enjoyed them and the house is tidy when I arrive home...which is soooo nice! I feel very comfortable leaving my children with a Shore Sitters employee. They hire only the best and when it comes to your children, only the best will do!
