We met Teley at a wedding expo and had decided to book his services for our wedding about a year and a half before our wedding date. We signed his contract and sent in our deposit check for our event. The month prior to our wedding our coordinator tries to contact Teley and his assistant to finalize the details for our wedding but get only an answering machine and unreturned phone calls. Then the week of the wedding we find that his number has been disconnected and we are unable to reach Teley. Frantically we were forced to find another DJ and luckily our coordinator found one in time for our wedding at the last minute.
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY.
They are unprofessional and didn't even have the courtesy to let us know that they were overbooked / uninterested in serving us anymore. I understand that it must have been a busy day for most vendors (8/8/08 was a highly popular date in Hawaii) and yes, we did not select the most expensive package that they offered, but if you don't want to do business with someone, have the courtesy to let them know so that they can find someone else.
In hindsight, I'm glad that we didn't have Teley at our wedding. Since then, I have attended 2 other weddings where Teley was the DJ and I don't appreciate his style. He makes the reception all about him and he is the main star, not the bride and groom. While he does try and make things entertaining as he prides himself to be a "showman," I feel that a wedding should highlight the bride and groom, not the DJ who steals the attention and makes everyone look at him the entire night.

At last minute, my band/DJ fell through and I was left scrambling to find a DJ at last minute. Teley, the owner, met with me and I handed him a CD and lists of all the songs that I wanted them to play. I asked Teley if the DJs he would be sending (I already knew Teley was already booked) could remix and mix-up the songs. Listening to DJs simply play songs with re-mixing the songs is a pet peeve of mine. Anyone can just press play. Anyway, I remember the DJ playing the songs I wanted but I don't remember if they re-mixed and mixed up the songs. Per my guests, they played a bunch of reggae in a row and didn't remix the songs. Since I don't remember being bothered by the music (I'm sure I was just ecstatic and overwhelmed with glee ha ha), I can't say I wouldn't recommend this vendor. Overall, I guess they did a good job. My only regret was not getting more lights as part of the DJ package and not having Teley, the owner, actually there.
