After contacting the MGM’s events team, I could tell they were not at all interested in hosting our “small” reception. They directed me to The Signature, which is another MGM property. It was the best thing they could have done. It was a bit of a hike from the MGM's wedding chapel (approximately 10-15 minutes), but well worth it. We held our reception for about 45 people in one of the meeting spaces on the ground floor of Tower 2. They included the patio and fire pit as part of the space. There were a few moments where the communication was shaky at the beginning, but as we got closer to the event things fell into place seamlessly. I appreciated the manager, Renee, walking through everything with me a few days prior and covering any last minute details. She arranged for her team to handle all of the little details such as cupcake wrappers, signage (that I provided in advanced), etc. It was nice to arrive and see she had executed my vision to perfection! The added bonus to Renee was her eye on your budget. She helped make suggestions to cut costs where you could without sacrificing the quality. Our guests loved the food, the space and had a fabulous time! I only wish we had stayed at the Signature instead of the MGM Grand as well. I heard so many rave reviews about their guest rooms.

Okay, so we argued about our respective-Bachelor/Bachelorette parties as I didn't want the guys taking him to some seedy strip club. I was up for the idea of a dual-party, but he refused. It was my MOH that suggested we all just hop a plane and go out to Vegas and not only party all together, but be able to go off separately for the strippers. So I wasn't really into him going to see strippers, but I liked the idea of us being all together in one location, so we were both sold. We all stayed at the MGM Grand, and I absolutely loved it there!!! This place isn't gross or seedy at all, and when they found out why we were all there, they upgraded our suites and even suggested the "entertainment". We had so much fun in their casino, ate and drank merrily, and when it came time for the entertainment in our separate suites, we had fun!!

We had our reception in our suite at the Signature at MGM Grand. It is a brand new hotel with three towers just adjacent to the MGM Grand. It is a long walk from the hotel to the Forever Grand Wedding Chapel at the MGM Grand, but our room was so beautiful. It was very spendy for us, but it was not only our reception but our honeymoon as well.We had about 25-30 people - we used a 1 Bedroom Suite with a connecting Jr. Suite. The Jr. Suite became our dance floor, and the 1 Bedroom had seating, food, and drinks. Having a hotel room made it easier for us to decorate and get the rooms ready the night before so we had a stress free wedding day.We were all impressed with the service. They were very responsive and accomodating. We made serveral requests that they were able to help us with at the last minute. It was great service. If there were a shuttle to the MGM Grand, the trip would have been nicer. The walk was very long (10 minutes or so). I would highly recommend this hotel for your wedding or honeymoon. Spendy and posh, but worth the spoil for the trip of a lifetime. Make sure to have lots of $5's and $10's so you can tip often.

Staying here was nice enough, but it didn't come off as a 4 or 5 star hotel. Housekeeping, valet and their room service departments were all very slow. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and I have to say that this didn't really impress me. The rooms were nice, though, and we liked the pool.

I love this hotel! I think that DH & I are going to redecorate our room to look like the bridal suite. It was so modern and comfortable that I can't stop thinking about it! The staff was also pretty amazing. :)

OMFG This was the BEST place I have ever stayed in my LIFE. Las Vegas is not the best place for a honeymoon .. But for those who go THIS is the place to stay.. It is part of the MGM Grand but secluded and private.. You can walk to the strip but you don't feel like you're on the strip. The best part? The PRICE. We paid around $200/night for a HUGE suite with a bathroom almost as big as my apartment !! It had a HUGE jacuzzi.. huge balcony (where else in Vegas can you get a BALCONY??).. beautiful big bed.. a TV that comes out of the desk.. internet and pay movies on the TV .. little gadgets in every room.. a thermostat for each room.. a beautiful kitchen.. I wanted to LIVE there. . (they are actually condos!) The other best part? Each tower has a pool - in the middle of June they were almost EMPTY. We saw the MGM and it was FULL of kids. We had a nice secluded pool instead ;) with a bar and you can get lunch served to you! If you go to Vegas this is where to stay.. check out the pics on www.tripadvisor.com
