We had such a beautiful wedding and can not thank Signature Milestones enough.I would most definitely recommend them to any of my friends or family members getting married. It was so nice to be able to trust them and not have to worry about one detail that day!!!

At first my husband and I were not pleased at all with the service we were receiving from this company. Then Miranda replaced our planner. She is amazing. She made everything become the dream day I had always imagined. No task was too much to ask of her. And she is extremely creative....if I didn't have a clue of what to do for decorations, she came up with the best ideas. Everything went off without a hitch. Thank you Miranda!! We recommend her if you would like a big city planner on a country bumpkin budget.

Signature Milestones and the Gardens of the Fox Cities saved our day! We were originally booked with another reception hall, who went out of business very abruptly. With as small as our wedding was (35 people) and a rather short amount of time to reschedule, we were very politely turned down everywhere we looked, unable to meet high catering minimums or rental charges.
Someone recommended the Scheig Learning Center at Gardens of the Fox Cities (Memorial Park) to us, and we actually booked it sight unseen. Terri at Signature Milestones, who is no longer with the company, was the only hall we spoke with who was willing to give us a discounted rental due to our situation. (Signature Milestones is the event planning company who handles all reservations at the Gardens). After we saw it, we decided that it was more fitting of us than the hall we originally had booked, so that worked out quite well in our favor :)
We did not officially hire Signature Milestones to do any event planning for us, their main role for our wedding was just providing the venue, so I can not speak specifically to their wedding planning service. I can say that Miranda, who now runs Signature Milestones, is a pleasure to work with. She responded relatively quickly to my calls and emails, and was very helpful in helping me settle some small details in the weeks immediately prior to the wedding, as well as coordinating vendors on the day of. I would highly recommend both the Gardens of the Fox Cities and Signature Milestones for other weddings and events.

I don't know what we would have done with our them. A week before our wedding our reception hall closed for business. The girls at Signature Milestones were the people that told us they were closing, and they helped us find a new hall...fast! They had put together a list of new venues before they even called to tell us we no longer had a hall. By the next day, we had another venue all lined up. I don't know what I would have done with out them. We hired Signature Milestones for their "Day of Service" plan and it worked out wonderful. They helped with decorations, making sure all the vendors were on the same page, making sure I wasn't freaking out, and cleaning up, and also calling all the vendors again to change our wedding location!! I would recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding.

Questions to ask when interviewing bridal consultants:
(Make sure to get all contact information & a business card- company name, contact name, address, telephone, e-mail, & website)
1. How long have you been in business?
2. Do you belong to any professional organizations? Are you certified?
3. How many weddings do you do a year?
4. Do you have a staff or "back-up" system if you become unavailable on wedding day?
5. May I see some referrals from vendors you've worked with? (This will allow you to see if they have a good reputation in the local community)
6. May I see a copy of the contract you use?
7. Do you accept referrals fees/commissions? (BIG red flag. If so, look elsewhere)
8. What specifically do you do? Are they able to work with you on an individual meeting basis or do they only work on the full production?
9. What are your fees? And what does that cover? (Percentage, flat rate, hourly)
10. How often do you provide me updates on your wedding planning?
11. Will you be at the rehearsal and wedding day? (If so, is there an additional fee?)
12. What will you wear on my wedding day?
13. Is there an additional charge for phone calls and e-mail coorespondence between us?
14. Do you have a preferred vendors list?
15. What is your role at the rehearsal?
16. Can you handle last minute changes and emergencies?
17. What is the deposit required?
18. If we cancel our contract, will we get all or any of our deposit back?
19. ... Finally, ask yourself if this person seems organized. Are they a good listener? Are your personalities well suited?
