I picked Mayra doll me up for my cousin's wedding and she made me look amazing. I allowed her to do whatever she wanted for me including my hair and she definitely has talent. I booked her for my bridal shoot session and on my wedding day. My photographer was able to capture some of her work and I can tell you its AMAZING! Pick Mayra to take care of your make up and hair and you will not be disappointed.

Mayra is seriously a wonderful makeup artist! She did my makeup for my graduation pictures and I looked FLAWLESS! I have never felt so beautiful with makeup on and it all looked so natural. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and wouldn't think twice about going to her again. AMAZING!!!!! :)

Mayra was great! I would highly recommend her to anyone. I was looking for someone who could do hair and makeup for a Pakistani/Indian wedding and she really understood the culture and my requests. Because she is married to someone that is from that cultural background she was able to deliver for my three wedding days and was a pleasure to be with. I will keep her in mind for my future events. I was recomended to Simple Beauty Artistry from a freind whom had worked with Mayra before. I had done a few appointments for my wedding makeup but from the appointments they seamed very plain. I didn't feel beautiful. She was very professional and on time to our appointment. As soon as she was done I was anxious to see myself in the mirror.I looked at myself and was speechless. Mayra did my hair and make up for my wedding and made me look absolutely gorgeous! She arrived early to my appointment. She knew right away what type of make up she was going to do on me just by looking at my dress. My hair is a bit short and I was stressing out that it was not going to look beautiful. She was able to do an amazing hairstyle that I was very pleased with. Looking at my hair made me feel very excited since it was something I hasd Been Stressing over. She is a very talented make up artist. I would highly recommend her.

After a long extensive search for a make up artist for my wedding I came upon Simple Beauty Artistry. I am so happy with my decision!! I had an exact idea of what I wanted for my makeup for my special day and Mayra exceeded my expectations. She was very nice and professional. My makeup came out fabulous!! Mayra does fabulous makeup. I had done a few trail makeups with other makeup artist since I have really bad rosacea. The other artist would end up making my face look cake-y. I was very pleased when Mayra did my trail makeup because it looked really natural and my eyes looked ex-centric. On the day of my wedding I was very pleased with her. I love her work.

My cousin's wedding was 6/30/12 at the Doubletree by IAH airport and Mayra was our make-up artist. It was kind of last minute when we contacted Mayra but she was super flexible and extremely patient with us. As a black woman it’s hard to find make-up that accommodates my skin tone and features. Mayra had all the ladies myself included looking like we belonged on a runway.

I can’t stress enough on the great job she did, she was amazing. Her prices were very reasonable. She was punctual, professional and her time management on each person was impeccable.

Mayra is a verry talented make up artist.She has done my makeup for diffrent occasions (from birthday partys to wedding partys) And everytime I receive so many compliments on how natural and beautiful my makeup looks.The makeup lasts fresh the entire day/evening.She is verry professional,nice and easy to work with.Mayra also did my mothernlaw's makeup for her 50th wedding anniversary she was verry satisfied.Actually everyone in the family was so happy with how the makeup looked on my mothernlaw. Mayra was amazing from day 1. She was available for all of my photo shoots and made me look and feel beautiful! She made sure to keep in touch with me from the transition of engagement pics, multiple bridal pics, and of course my wedding day. She offered beauty tips to get me prepared for the perfect day. Her work is phenomenal and her personality makes the experience so much fun. You can not be disappointed.
