Simple Destin Weddings

Mike and Laura were so easy and friendly to work with from the very begging of the planning stages of our wedding, when it came to picking out our ceremony. They were very professional and any questions we had they quickly answered. We went with one of their pre worded ceremonies and it fit us perfectly they had a great selection to choose from, we also added in our own with no problems at all (they encourage writing your own vows). Laura was our officiant and she just did an amazing job, you can tell they have done many weddings and she did it with ease. They also took care of submitting our paperwork for us after the wedding and everything was delivered on time. oh they also provide a copy of the ceremony and our vows, a keepsake I will cherish forever. I don't think we could have gone with anyone better, they were great. :) I would highly recommend them for any one looking for an officiant in the Destin, emerald coast area.

Working with Mike was easy and stress free; just wanted I wanted on my wedding day! He was punctual and had a very laid back attitude which put me at ease when I was nervous for my big day. No complaints on my end!

Laura and mike arrived early and found us even though it was crazy with spring breakers. Laura did an awesome job with pics and mike did the ceremony with great detail. I would definitely use this couple.

Mike and Laura were fantastic to work with from the first email to the actual wedding! We had to change locations about 4 hours before the wedding and it ended up being a freezing 40 degree beach wedding, but through it all they were flexible with kind wonderful attitudes! I would highly recommend them!!!

From their site we found a great beach to allow all of our family to be on the beach, elderly parents as well. Sorry Laura for being 10 minutes late. Simple Destin Weddings ....... all I can say is it was absolutely fabulous and I recommend it 100 times. It was the perfect setting on the beach at Beasley Park. Although I had tunnel vision, excitingly staring and anxiously getting to my groom, Laura was AWESOME. How did she put up with me ?? LOL Laura and Mike took care of everything, thank you so very much. :)

I only sought their services as an Officiant but they were so kind in offering help and direction for whatever we needed. I planned my wedding from Pennsylvania so it was a relief to find them. My husband and I celebrated our 25 years of marriage with a Vow Renewal, we are so glad we did ! And so glad we used the services of Simple Destin Weddings! They stayed in contact with us , even worked with us on the time because the weather was being difficult. 15 minutes before the ceremony the weather cleared and we had a beautiful beach ceremony. I am very skeptical when it comes to Internet Services especially when you live 12 hours away. I highly recommend them!

One word comes to mind when I think of my wedding experience with Mike and Laura...AMAZING!!!! Mike took the time to really respond to all my emails quickly, answering the many questions I had for him. On the wedding day, I could not have asked for two more wonderful individuals than Mike and Laura. Our wedding was flawless!! The pictures Laura took were breathtaking and I have received many, many compliments on them! I had envisioned the perfect, simple beach wedding and could never had achieved that without the help of these two individuals! When I think back on my special day, I will always remember Mike and Laura and be so thankful to them for helping me achieve perfection!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

What a great experience. Laura provided exactly what we wanted. The 4.5 score on professionalism is misleading because Laura blended with our group perfectly and we aren't exactly always professional. I would reccommend Mike and Laura to anyone wanting a fantastic wedding experience.

I really enjoyed our beach experience. Mike and Laura were very professional. They were also very patient with our kids who were part of the ceremony. I love how our wedding pictures came out and have received wonderful comments from family and friends. Mike was an absolute riot in the lead up to the wedding and was super accommodating when my location changed, and then my date, and then the time, etc., etc., etc. He had a great sense of humour and kept me laughing all the way to the altar! Mike and Laura are fantastic!! I received immediate responses to all inquiries, they checked in with us the day before the wedding to make sure we were all set, and allowed us to script the ceremony exactly as we wanted. Even though we were a simple elopement, Mike made us feel special, and we couldn't have picked a better person to marry us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding officiant in the Destin area, no matter the size of the wedding or the denomination of ceremony.

They were great! Answered any questions I had very quickly and offered great advice!

Mike was a HUGE help from start to finish! He helped us pick a location that would be convenient to our reception AND they were on time even thiough we weren't. Also.. when I asked when we would receive our license in the mail instead of just giving us a simple answer he actually called the courthouse and got the status of our license!

Choosing Mike and Laura for our wedding was a great decision. We could not have been MORE pleased. They did an amazing job. Mike does a wonderful job setting the tone for the ceremony...fun, casual beach ceremony...JUST as I'd envisioned. Even though I personally forgot a few key elements, he glazed over it with humor and professionalism. Laura's pictures were equally amazing, she has a great eye and will not disappoint! After researching these similar services, I could have paid upwards of $2000 for what they did on the beach. In addition to their talent they were a tremendous value as well.

A very good friend of mine recommended destin dj. I saw what a great job they did at her wedding and I had to book them. Our guests had a wonderful time dancing the night away. The professionalism and experience was evident during the planning stages and at the reception. They listened to all our musical choices and ideas and gave great advice and suggestions on what would and wouldn't work based on their experience. Their website was very easy to use. It made planning the music a breeze.

we used Mike Martin and his wife Laura for our DJ services and they really made the party! Very quick to respond to phone calls and/or emails. You can tell they have been doing this for a while because they really know how to keep the reception flowing. Mikes wife Laura helped with all of the formalities so we didnt have to worry about it. Our entire guest list danced literally the WHOLE time, we had to book them for an extra hour last minute because everyone was having so much fun! You can really count on them to do a good job. And once you become a client, you can do a lot of your planning online. Such as creating a do not play list, or a definately play list as well as selecting your formal dances. They have a TON of music to choose from, and if they dont have what you want they will get it. Overall FABULOUS people and service.

Destin DJ provided both our ceremony and reception music. There were some techincal difficulties during the ceremony, but all in all it came out ok. Our reception was great, and they kept everyone dancing, however, we had requested several songs to be played, and only one or two ever made it on air. But - we still had fun, and that is the important thing!
