I am a Certified Wedding Specialist, a Professional Bridal Consultant, a Marriage Educator and an Ordained Minister PLUS I am a local representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts. What officiant services do you provide?
Civil Union, Interfaith Ceremony, Non-religious Ceremony, Single Religion Ceremony
What religious affiliations do you serve?
Christian (no denomination)
Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
No
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
I have performed ceremonies at vineyards, hospitals, ranches, homes, hotels, banquet halls, parks, historic mansions, college chapels, taverns, private social clubs, and the beach.
What is your attire for the ceremony?
I wear professional attire, for example: a black dress or a gray pant suit.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
The Bride and Groom are welcome to participate in the content and design of their ceremony. I have never performed the same ceremony twice, each ceremony is "unique".
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Yes, the vows are sent to the officiant in advance of their wedding day. The vows are handed to the Bride and Groom separately so they can be read to each other during the ceremony.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Yes. The Bride and Groom are given the opportunity to select readings, poems, and "subceremonies," for example: a Sand Ceremony.
How long are your ceremonies?
Most of my ceremonies average about fifteen to twenty minutes.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
During the first meeting with the Bride and Groom they are asked if they want a professionally organized and choreographed rehearsal.
Do you supply a sound system?
No. I have learned that most venues and/or disc jockeys/musicians provide a sound system that can be used by the officiant during the ceremony.
What types of weddings do you accommodate?
Civil, Destination, Double Weddings, Eco-Friendly / Green
What wedding planning services do you offer?
Day-of Coordinator, Partial Planning
