Our wedding was last month and Sissy from Simply Beautiful Artistry did my hair and makeup. She is absolutely AMAZING at what she does! I had a look in mind when we initially met, but when I tried it out, I didn’t fall in love with it. On my wedding day, Sissy asked for my permission if she could tweak the look and I gave her full control of both hair and makeup that day and I am so glad I did! Sissy has an eye for what looks amazing and she makes sure you feel comfortable with the look. I was overwhelmed by all the compliments from family and friends! She puts her heart into every detail and makes sure you are happy with everything! She is a true talent in her profession! I HIGHLY recommend Sissy for your hair and makeup needs, especially on your wedding day!

Sissy and Simply Beautiful did my entire wedding party's hair and everyone loved their own hairstyles! They were all fabulous! I loved my hairstyle so much that I wore it the day after my wedding to my honeymoon. I also had my make-up done which was gorgeous and just the way I wanted it! I loved working with Sissy. She was so sweet and accommodating from the beginning to the end. During the booking process, she was prompt and professional. She was also much more personable and sweet than many of the other make-up artists I had contacted. She was also willing to do just make-up (as a childhood friend was already booked as our hair stylist for the wedding). Another make-up artist that I considered was not willing to do just one service.

On the day of, she was on time to my wedding and prepared to work as soon as she got there. She was also completely understanding of some last minute cancellations, and she did not charge me for those. I thought her prices were reasonable, and she was worth every penny. I also loved what she did with my make-up on the wedding day! She was willing to adjust depending on my preferences but was honest when I asked for her opinion. Just a joy with which to work! I would recommend her to any of my friends (I actually already have!).

I did two trial runs with Sissy, two hair and one make-up and absolutely LOVED the results! As an added bonus besides her work being fabulous... she was so sweet, easy to relate to, always flexible with her time, and answered all my phone calls even late at night close to the wedding when I was having the last minute jitters! I can not express to you how wonderful Sissy was to have with me doing my hair and make-up on my wedding day. She was perfect and will make you feel sooooo beautiful on your special day! :) :) Absolutely NO REGRETS and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sissy did my makeup for my bridal portraits and wedding, both of which were beautiful! I am appreciative of her responsiveness as I asked many questions via email and phone before we met for the bridal portrait session. She arrived early for both sessions, worked her magic, and put me at ease with her friendly demeanor. She even answered makeup questions from my bridal party while working without skipping a beat. My wedding makeup was (purposefully) slightly more dramatic than the portrait makeup and Sissy's artistic vision was perfect - in both cases, I looked like ME but polished, glowing, and happy!

Sissy is very professional and efficient. She is always on time and organized. She creates wedding day schedules to make sure the bride, and bridal party are ready on time.
