I called Sommer the Monday before my wedding (Saturday). Luckily she was available. I just wanted someone to be in charge the day of, for 5 hours. I paid $700-which I though was a bit high, but in the end it was worth it. She helped with the whole rehearsal coordination and handled day of stuff. I didn't want to have to direct, give instructions or anything. I'm so glad I hired her because my stress level went way down. She made sure everything was in place, handled the processional, helped gather folks for pictures, helped with the placement of place cards, directed me to what was happening next etc. Brides tend to think that aunts and cousins can help with all that, but they really should be allowed to enjoy themselves as guests at your wedding. Do yourself a favor, get a month of, and day-of coordinator. You'll be happy you did.
I met with Alison and immediately clicked with her. She is so organized and was always willing to answer any questions I had about the wedding. She helped me make calls when I didn’t have all the RSVPs in on time and created a budget spreadsheet to make sure all our payments were made on time. She and Sommer came to the hall the Thursday before the wedding and spent the whole day with us setting up the hall. On the day of the wedding, they were there and made sure everything ran smoothly. We had a few small issues, but they took care of it and did not bother me with anything. I didn’t even know about some of the small stuff until the day after! They are totally worth the investment!
Alison White is an outstanding wedding planner. Her team is unbeatable. Her connections, organization, and fun attitude keep your wedding plans on track and you worry-free. I loved working with her. Best money spent on the wedding!!!
Alison was, by far, my favorite vendor. She was my guardian angel throughout the entire process. She went way above and beyond in so many ways and she's relatively inexpensive. I would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.
