I had worked with Christina on a few weddings (as a planner myself) and when it came time for deciding who would coordinate my special day - I had no one in mind but Christina! Because of her, I was able to fully relinquish ALL planning and worries about the set-up, details, and timeline. My husband and I were truly guests at our own wedding!

Christina and her team are "simply" the best at what they do. I highly recommend her services if you are looking for someone who is very knowledgeable about the industry, quick-witted, detailed-oriented, and really knows how to manage those tough vendors to ensure your day is ENJOYABLE & PERFECT!

When first planning my wedding I didn't have a budget for a coordinator, but as I got closer to the date, I realized I wanted someome the day of to take care of the details, keep things on time and to take care of any mess ups.

I met with three other coordinators and have to say Christina with Simply Modern Weddings seemed to fit the bill.

The day of the wedding, things ran smoothly. Christina took care of all the vendors, guests and of course US. My husband and I were very happy with her services.

I think it made a huge difference that Christina has professional coordinating and planning experience as well as training. I dunno how some brides hire coordinators with no professional training.

I ended up hiring Christina a few weeks before my wedding. Since I had done all the major planning and kept up good contact with my vendors, I really just needed someone to be my “go to” girl, just in case something went wrong. I am so glad I did! It was nice to have someone else do the follow-up the week of the wedding (the most stressful time for most brides) and ensure all my plans were executed properly. Christina went above and beyond her duties by making sure she was fully aware of all details, arrangements and vendor information. She kept on top of all my vendors and made sure everything went seamlessly. The only problem that I know that came up during the reception was my reception site coordinator deciding to end the reception early since we started early, but after a quick consult with me, Christina took care of everything. If anything else went wrong, that simply shows how good a wedding coordinator Christina was because I noticed nothing else. I felt so confident in Christina's abilities (and rightly so) that I was able to truly be a guest at my wedding and enjoy myself. I didn't even have to worry about anything when the reception ended because Christina swept us off to our awaiting car and wrapped up the reception site herself. She has an amazing eye for detail and what's important to brides. I would recommend her to the most discerning bride!

Christina was my coordinator at my wedding July 29 2006 and I seriously CANNOT say enough about how FANTASTIC she was. I wanted for nothing all night and she COMPLETELY took care of my husband and I!!! She was equally great before the wedding, keeping me organized and calm. She has a great eye for detail and will keep everything going smoothly!! She is very sweet but can DEFINITLY negotiate and get her way.....if you need a coordinator look into her and you will not be dissapointed!!

Christina was one of our best investments. We were planning our wedding from across the country, so we really needed someone on top of things in CA. By the time I booked her, we had pretty much booked all our vendors and we had no other plans to visit CA to do other wedding tasks, but we still needed someone to take care of the logistics of the wedding. We gave her all our contracts, exchanged a couple photos and PowerPoint presentations via email, and discussed how we envisioned our day to proceed. When our 60–day–out meeting rolled around with our caterer to discuss service, linens, set–up, and timing, she had a detailed outline prepared and the trans–continental conference call/meeting took less than an hour. She contacted all our vendors, so by the time we were in CA dealing with family and such, I didn’t need to follow up with them. On our wedding day, she had all things running smoothly and on time. Set–up was great! Even our favors were all lined up with the mug handles pointing in one direction. It was a small detail I had imagined in my head, and forgotten to tell Christina, but she was on top of it. This is just a handful of little things that Christina did to make our planning process easier, I could go on – she handled the lighting discussions with our DJ, helped me decide how to do place cards (the little envelopes are her idea), picked up personal flowers for our morning photos, all things neatly packed up at the end of the night, etc… Overall, I couldn’t have done it without her. She was really the only other person with whom I discussed the wedding, and her insight and service on the day–of was invaluable to me.

Wow! I am so glad that I hired Christina! I don’t think I could have made it through the day without her! Before the wedding she confirmed with all of my vendors and did a very extensive timeline that she also gave to each vendor. She coordinated my linen rentals and was so helpful with all the little questions I had! She also coordinated the rehearsal and took everything (programs, menus, guestbooks, etc, etc!) to the venue on the morning of the wedding. She set up all the placecards and made sure that everything was in place, exactly how I wanted it. She was there throughout the entire ceremony and reception and made sure everything went according to plan (which it did!) She was highly organized and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is considering hiring a coordinator. She made the day run smoothly and I did not have to worry one bit about anything!
