I was ‘shopping’ for a makeup artist for my wedding and was referred to Sophia by a family friend. The make up artists I contacted were all amazing at what they did, but Sophia was the only one who was not only great as a make up artist but she was also flexible, personable, professional and multi-talented! During my trial i was quickly impressed with her work, professionalism and personality and was confident in moving forward with her to do my hair and make-up for my wedding, which saved me a lot of hassle! Prior to the trial and wedding she followed up with me to ensure that we were on the right track. I had specific requests that she delivered and she completely wowed me (my hubby, family and guests at the wedding) with her execution of my hair style and veil style, which was absolutely classy and unique! I couldn’t thank her enough! Thank you!

Simply Jamila provides makeup, hair, and henna services. I only arranged for henna, and interacted with Sophia, who was very pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with. She was flexible and was available on short notice, and provided a comfortable atmosphere to have the henna done. Sophia worked quickly and designed a very lovely half-arm and foot design that received a lot of compliments.

She was also available to come out for a henna party so the wedding guests could have henna done, which the guests enjoyed immensely. They were impressed with her speed and creativity. Even my mother got caught up in the excitement and had some henna done after saying she didn't want any.

Sophia provided a truly beautiful, memorable experience, and I would recommend her services to any bride or group wishing to have henna done.
