Sinapi's Ceola Manor was a perfect place for our wedding. I could not have asked for better customer service - the people who work at Ceola Manor are fully committed to making your event as seamless as possible. Everyone was not only genuinely nice, they were extremely helpful and they truly made my wedding a fantastic day that I will remember forever. I could not have asked for more from them - I highly recommend Sinapi's Ceola Manor to anyone who is having an event that requires a catering hall.
Thank you for a great wedding Ceola Manor!!!

Unbeatable prices with terrific views. The landscape could not be more perfect. With multiple options of indoor or outdoor events. The location is perfect from smaller weddings up to bigger weddings. I had about 175 people at my wedding and we all fit comfortably. Our cocktail hour was outside under the tent but we had the option to have in indoors. The parking was great. The food was delicious, the staff was proffesional and when I made last minute changes they didn't hesitate they agreed and all went to plan. I have been to Ceola Manor many times before for various occasions ranging from Sweet 16s, Junior proms and Weddings. I would not hesitate to use this location again and I would recommend it for others also.

Our wedding experience at Sinapi's Ceola Manor was absolutely perfect. My wife and I are above and beyond satisfied with every aspect of service and product that we received on our wedding night from Sinapi's Ceola Manor, and highly recommend this venue. All of the attendants were extremely professional, very responsive, and extremely attentative. The food was absolutely phenomenal and abundant. This is definitely a venue to consider if you are getting married in the Putnam/Westchester County area of New York!

I had only my reception at Ceola but it was absolutely amazing!! The food is delicious and my guests were totally satisfied. We had an absolutely amazing time. Every single person of their staff is overly accommodating and pleasant! They did so much to make our night easy going(for us) and we could not have been happier. Gorgeous grounds for pictures and a beautiful ballroom as well!

Food was great, People are very nice. Ceremony area is beautiful. Service is very good. After the ceremony it was a little hectic and we were bombarded by guests they should take you to a dif room then bring you back down for photos to create less crowding. Waiting service was excellent. Decorations were nice. Good pricing you get a lot for your money. Good value

Brides Beware! We chose this place based on its very good ratings. After my experience there I now wonder if these ratings are staged or were we just the unlucky couple who were treated poorly and given the worst service. Back in 2010 when we booked our wedding at the Ceola Manor we were greeted and assured by a very knowledgeable man Luigi. He was able to answer all our questions with confidence and ease. He made us feel like our wedding was in good hands. A few months down the road I had some questions and so many emails and voice messages left later I finally get a response from Tino. Not thinking anything of it I just accepted the answers and went on with my planning and payments for the wedding. Ok so now here comes the description of what I can only say was the worst treatment I could ever imagine a bride would not want to go through. Just before the wedding I received a phone call from Lisa to set an appointment to meet up and finalize the wedding plans. The First appointment made was 9 days before the wedding and a few hours before we get a phone call stating that they need to cancel and reschedule for some unknown reason. Ok so we reschedule for 7 days exactly before our wedding. After showing up and sitting outside the venue for about an hour we come to find that no one from Ceola Manor bothered to show for our appointment or even thought it was important enough to call us to let us know that they would not be there. They just let us sit out there waiting. Ok brides 4 days before my wedding day...yes only 4 days before my wedding day I finally get an appointment with yet another Sinapi brother who is standing in place for Tino. After being outraged and demanding to know what happened to Luigi (the one I originally signed contracts with) they finally tell me he is no longer with them. Sounds suspicious to me but 4 days before my wedding there is not a whole lot I can do so fingers crossed I thought I would hope for the best. Trying hard to make a long story short, no one ever got in touch with us to let us know we needed to contact an off-site bakery to pick out our wedding cake and we were told that our taste testing of the food could not be done because it was too late and somehow we were supposed to know that we needed to call to make an appointment ahead of time. So try dealing with picking out a cake, not knowing what your food tastes like, making a floor plan for 125 people and printing seating cards out all with 3 days to go until your wedding! To put the icing on the cake, the disregard and complete lack of care for us didn’t end there either! Try coming in from hours of pictures and being starved to only find that the private cocktail room for the bride, groom and wedding party did not have a crumb of food in it except for drinks. Oh yes and it took them about 20 minutes to fix this and finally bring in some food for the bridal party. All the apologies did not fix the frustration and anxiety that they have put us through. Finally, to top things off, not once during the whole night from beginning to end were we greeted by a manager or asked how our service was. With poor service aside, the wedding hall was beautiful as well as the cocktail hour under the lakeside tent and luckily we all enjoyed the food. Overall, the staff at Ceola Manor has not given us one bit of assistance through the planning process of our wedding. Brides beware and spend your money at an establishment that actually cares and takes pride in making your event special!
Vendor response to review
I feel the need to respond to this slanderous review because of its misinformation and contradictory nature.
First I would like to thank you for exposing a pretty important notion that the onus is not completely on the catering hall to plan your wedding. A bride must be organized and timely as well. We do over 250 affairs a year and I have myself, been involved with over 400 since I have become the General Manager at Sinapi's Ceola Manor. There have been occasions when we have made mistakes at a party, I can think of (6) times it was our fault and we made amends for it with our clients. We are not perfect and no hall is, but to lessen the risk it is important for a host to be responsive and return communications when they have concerns. (In your case and by your statements, your party went smoothly, except for a minor thing which I will address.)
1.) To accuse the brides, who had great experiences, of staging their comments is absolutely disingenuous. All those brides had great experiences because of one common trait that I know of. They were organized and communicated. To say that you based your decision on feedback on-line is a flat out lie. 90% of our feedback online has come in the past 3 months. You booked your party in January of 2011. We just recently created an online presence, so I do not know why you would lie like that to discredit our feedback.
2.) You mention that Luigi was all knowledgeable, which he is, and that you were upset that he was not here anymore. You were all about working with Luigi. However, this is a confusing paradox. You say that you lack knowledge having a food tasting, a wedding cake, no seating chart, etc until 4 days before your party. Which was it? Luigi gave you all the information and you forgot or Luigi did not give you the information which you claim you did not know about. It is a sale rep’s job to inform you of these things. When you e-mailed Luigi some questions and there was no response, because he no longer worked here, did you think to call us? We would have gladly helped you. When I responded to your emails, you knew that I would be of assistance if you needed anything. You did not have additional questions for me, so I was under the impression that you knew what was required of you.
3.) When your appointment was rescheduled, the next time you came in, two days later you state that you waited for an hour outside the venue. I would suggest announcing your arrival and coming inside. We were not aware that you were outside and assumed that you did not show up. I will take the responsibility with that, however, everything was still on schedule.
4.) I apologize that we do not leave food in a room for an hour and letting it sit there for you to eat when you get upstairs to the bridal party room. We waited until you guys came to the room to get you fresh food. At any point, you could have asked your bridal waiter to fetch you something. There was food all around at cocktail hour. Your complaint was that we did leave it in a room to get cold. Not a fair assessment if you ask. Also it was not 20 minutes; it took 7 minutes to get the food to you. Again I apologize for not having it to you in 2 minutes.
5.) To say that there was not a manager to great you is a flat out lie. Did you meet Juan? The gentleman that took care of you all night. Did you know that he is management? You must have, because he was in a suit and assisting you all night. Just because his last name is not Sinapi, it does not mean he is not management.
To summarize, I am sadden that you had a bad experience. I am further saddened that you decided to write a scathing review and make false accusations. The silver lining and what I think all brides who read this should understand is, the process can be frustrating at times, but despite all that you have complained about, we gave you a great party. Your review is nothing but spite and unappreciative. We do the best we can and we hope that a client has a great experience. To be mean and unfair, well there is nothing I can do about that; this is the age of the internet. People can write whatever they want even if it is not necessarily true.
Good luck in your marriage.
I have had two beautiful weddings take place last year at Ceola Manor. The staff were a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to working with them again.
