Sir Michaels Party Rentals

I found Sir Michaels through my wedding venue - the 20th Century Women's Club. I thought they were great for the money! Elaine personally sorted out my rental requests, and ended up bartending my wedding too! She was great. They don't have the widest selection of china/flatware, but for my puposes they were perfect. I used Sir Michael's for all my chairs, tables, tent and linens. The price is very reasonable in comparison to other event rental vendors. There were a few things that went wrong in terms of set-up: 1) the tent was set-up late the day of the event, 2) the table linens were not the length we had discussed, 3) 20 chairs were left stacked rather than set-up at tables. They set up 8 chairs per table, rather than the 10 chairs that I had specified. If you have a reliable day of coordinator who can ensure that everything is set-up properly I think Sir Michael's is a good deal.

I also used them for my transportation. The limo driver, Tony, was very helpful and friendly. The limo was a little older, but clean and comfortably fit 10 people. The price was excellent!

One of the approved rental vendors for our venue. Again great. Rentals were good quality. Service was top. Very patient and easy to work with, and responsive to my changing needs. Reasonable prices. They provided the wait staff and bartender who were great!

We reserved a limo and a vintage car (I think it was a Rolls Royce) for the wedding party. The limo's air conditioner did not work properly and the driver was weird. Then, to the horror of any bride and groom, the vintage car broke down on the freeway en route to our wedding ceremony. My bride had to get in the limo with the rest of us! Though they refunded the Rolls Royce, tehy had the nerve to ask us for a tip for the limo driver. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

We used Sir Michael for both our rental supplies and as servers/bartenders. We brought food in from our favorite restaurants and they served it. I would not recommend this vendor!!! They showed up over an hour late while my family members waited for them with the food. The contact person whose number I had did not answer my many calls to her cell phone. They had 2.5 hours to set up for a party of 100 and were still setting up when my husband-to-be and I arrived at the site. They made multiple marks in our wedding cake's icing and were generally unfriendly and unresponsive. During the process of renting the supplies, they were generally unhelpful in providing the correct information for the items I would need. The table cloths were meant to be floor length, and were not and they also substituted some items that I asked for with others.
