Skye Blu Photography

I had originally wanted to do boudoir pics right before my wedding, but I just didn't have the money. So, I stashed away a little cash over the course of a year and was able to get them done with Danielle Biel to give to my husband for our first anniversary. (it's paper!) I was very impressed with the photos on her website and her ability to accentuate the female figure, no matter what size.

The hair and makeup artist did an amazing job and I feel like the photos still look like me... despite the fact that I don't wear makeup every day. It was so much fun once we got shooting. Danielle was professional and knew exactly what to do to hide my cellulite, spider veins and all the little areas I don't like. I felt comfortable and sexy and like a real woman for the first time in a long time.

Yeah, it's expensive, but totally worth it! I highly recommend her to anyone!

WOW!!!! I wasn't planning to do boudoir pics, but two months before the wedding I changed my mind, and I'm so glad I did - it was AMAZING!!!! It was an incredibly happy, fun, liberating, confidence-giving adrenalaine rush of an experience - and when I got the photos this weekend, I had that incredible feeling all over again. I am so thrilled to give the photos to my FI - it's going to be hard to wait until the day of our wedding! I can't recommend Danielle Biel enough - she is so calm and sweet and professional. I felt comfortable with her immediately, even though prior to the shoot, it was definitely outside my comfort zone. During the shoot she made me feel, in a word, beautiful - and it shows in the pictures. Danielle knows exactly what she's doing and has a flawless eye - the minor adjustments and suggestions she made throughout the shoot made a huge difference in the end result. If any of you ladies are on the fence about boudoir pics, I really encourage you to go for it - you won't regret it!

I actually forfited my deposit on my original photographer. I thought I was getting more "bang for my buck", but then I realized that good pictures are more important than enlargements and albums because I cannot redo the photos, but I can always get enlargements or albums on my own.

Danielle and Andreana were SO awesome to work with!! Super talented, friendly, and great attention to detail! I cannot say enough about Skye Blu! She took over 1500 photos.

She also shot my boudoir pictures and it was such a wonderful experience. She made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera.

Danielle Biel was one of the best investments we had made for the wedding. Have you ever met such a down to earth, sweet, person that is so good at what she does? Skye Blu did our engagement photos, my boudoir photos and our wedding photos. I barely ever noticed her and her assistant during the wedding. Like she had told us, she would be like a "fly on the wall". If you are looking for something a little different than the typical wedding picture style, look into her. I loved how our engagement photos came out and she made me feel so glamorous during my photo shoot for boudoir. She always makes you feel so comfortable. I love her edgy, artistic style. She is a believer in film photography (no digital ever with her) and she is amazing at it. I am so utterly happy about the way my pictures came out. What sold me with Danielle is that you will get all of your negatives, all of your proofs, proof albums, and a high resolution CD of your photos. I was so surprised when I received all of my proofs because I did not realize how many photos she had taken that day. The focus on details and the artsy edge was phenomenal. I’m in love with Danielle’s photo taking expertise.

Boudoir

Even though the shoot was a lot of money, it was well worth it! Danielle was originally my wedding photographer until she found out she was pregnant and due around my wedding day. I was really glad to have a chance to work with Danielle after all since I LOVE her work. Tess did an awesome job on my makeup! I was going for a 40's starlet look but was worried how it'd look on an Asian and she really captured it! Danielle did such a great job in making me feel comfortable and making me look hot!! I gave the pics to DH as a wedding gift and DH was floored by the pics! He loves them! I highly recommend doing boudoir with Danielle and Skye Blu Photography!

I too loved (and still love) the work that Danielle did! I gave my boudoir shots to my hubby as a wedding gift and he loved them! My only complaint is that even though her work is amazing, for the price I feel like she still should offer some type of hair & make-up service even though Tess is gone. For my package, I had to do my own makeup & hair and really feel like I would have looked much fresher & sexier had a professional done it. Despite this, Danielle is so talented that she made me look great anyways and I have an album that my hubby will always treasure and my future kids will never see ( :twisted: :)!

i just received my photos from my 07.07.07 wedding and they are amazing! Danielle and Suthi were so incredible, I could not have asked for more! The emotions all came back the second that I opened the box that was filled with my gorgeous proofs. Without any hesitation, she is worth every penny! Amazing...perfect...so meaningful!My husband, daughter and I are ecstatic with the results. Perfect!

What can I say about Danielle that hasn't already been said? I think she was just amazing. My pictures were amazing! If you are thinking about doing this - DO IT! It's so worth it! Believe me, I am not a skinny girl...I have some curves and she knew exactly how to capture my body in a way that when I looked at them, I said,"DAM..that's me?!"

Totally do this for yourself!

My husband is the photography buff in the relationship and he loved what he saw on her site (as did I, but I don't know as much about photography). We met with her at her studio and she seemed so nice and up front. I liked that she had a set price even if it was more then some photographers because we knew what we were getting for the money.

Our engagement pictures turned out beautiful even though my husband and I were not the type of people comfortable in front of the camera.

Danielle and her assistant Suthi were awesome the day of, they backed off when I didn't want them taking pictures (like when I was trying to shimmy into my spanx) or when my husband was a bit stressed and needed to decompress. They were so nice and easy going.

And during the ceremony and reception they were totally discreet. There were times when we would think they had left for the night and realize they were off in the corner taking pictures. I never felt like they were on top of us or anything. And after seeing the engagement pictures we have no doubt the wedding pictures will be unbelieveable!

I hope sometime I have the extra money for a boudoir session (and the guts!) since I would love to work with Danielle again.

Danielle shoots film, I love the look of film, it's very classic and timeless, it's the way the art form was meant to be. Weddings in particular look better on film IMHO. Danielle knows her stuff and is a fantastic photographer, she's really nice and fun to be around as well, which is nice to have on a sometimes stressful wedding day. A+

Danielle's work is absolutely stunning - she has an unbelievable talent and knack for capturing the *feel* of an event with her images. Her style is fresh, hip and unique, and timeless all at once. Very highly recommend!

Danielle is a master of her medium. One of the rare photographers who still uses film, Danielle's work is innovative, elegant, and timeless.
