Hiring Nancy was the best decision we made in planning our wedding! Nancy went above and beyond what we ever thought a wedding planner would help us with. She was so patient and understanding, we couldn't have asked for a more amazing person to plan such a special day. Everyone involved in our wedding loved her as well, all of my close friends and family still talk about how great she is!
Nancy Park was hands down the BEST wedding event planner that I, my wedding party, and family have ever encountered! For days afterwards, my parents could not stop raving about her and all my bridesmaids plan to hire her when its their turn to walk down the aisle.
She is truly pure sweetness and a joy to work with. Always upbeat and so incredibly nice, Nancy calmly tackled any problem and lent a sympathetic ear to my bridezilla ramblings. She knows exactly where to cut corners and where to allocate the budget to get the most bang for your buck. She helped me work on DIY projects, sourced hard to find items, negotiated the best deal with different vendors to save money, and just went above and beyond the scope of her contract for me. With Nancy, you truly feel as if you have a good friend helping you plan every bit of your wedding.
Girl is super organized and runs her camp like a (really sweet) drill sergeant! She made sure I hit each goal, negotiated my contracts with a magnifying glass, and seamlessly coordinated all the vendors.
She also radiates calmness and patience that would give Buddha competition, definitely what you want on the big day when your nerves are shot! My wedding went out without a hitch. Every time I got nervous, Nancy would appear with her soothing voice, calming smile, and promise that everything was going to be perfect. And it was! Little did I know that behind the scenes, all HELL was breaking loose. I had vendors fighting with one another, a crazy site coordinator unplugging my father during his speech, employees of the venue stealing food, and I had NO IDEA this was going on because Nancy took care of everything and would not let any problem mar my wedding day!
I have so many great things to say about Nancy and I would be happy to give even more detailed info if any brides out there need it! Do not miss out on booking her. For the work she does, her fee is a steal! Truly the most amazing wedding planner and sweetest person!
My husband now, we met Nancy only 7 months out from our wedding date. Both of us did not know where to begin. Through my husband’s sister were introduced to Nancy. I have checked out Nancy’s blog extensively and noticed that her taste and style was something I really liked. We met for coffee and she briefly walked us through her service and gathered our impression/image/style and budget of wedding we were thinking. She showed us her sample time line spreadsheet for the day of the wedding. That won both of us over. The spreadsheet contained breakdown by minutes.
She provided lists of vendors and venues that might meet our budget for our decision and handled the negotiation with the vendors to get us the best quality for the money. She referred us to great vendors from venue to flowers, to DJ/MC, photographers, videographers all with great talent, taste, and professionalism.
Our wedding was the least stress during the seven months. There are other stresses that come from family big events and without Nancy, both of us would have called it quits and eloped.
The big day came and gone and it was the perfect wedding, better than what we have imagined. This would not have been possible without Nancy and her group. All my guests really enjoyed themselves and they were amazed at how smoothly it was executed. With Nancy and her group handling every detail on the day of, my husband and I really enjoying ourselves without a thought of schedules or details. I have seen many brides on their wedding with stressed brows, turned bridezilla; not very attractive, especially dressed up elegantly in white gown . But we were all smiles. Too big of smile for all the double chins to be forever memorialized in every picture but it was GREAT~!

So Happi Together was by far our best investment in our wedding! James and I really didn't know where to begin with wedding planning. All we knew was that we wanted an outdoor venue and we wanted to get married in a church. With James and I working full time with crazy hours it was hard to find the time to plan so that's when Nancy came in and saved us! She was so organized, sweet, patient and had so many awesome ideas to help us bring our dream wedding come true.
I never felt like I didn't know what was going when it came to planning since Nancy was always so on top of everything with all our other vendors. I honestly felt like I was always too busy to plan my wedding but Nancy always made sure that everything was under control.
Nancy and her team were so professional and responsive that I really felt like I could enjoy every minute of my whole experience. I highly recommend So Happi Together to everyone getting married because they will make your dream come true!

We found Nancy after stalking her on a variety of wedding websites. Best decision ever.
Wedding planning was not something we had thought about until a few months after we got engaged, but she found a way to make the whole process seem less daunting. We were so thankful for her impeccable taste and meticulous eye. We went to her for opinions on our invites, floral arrangements, etc. - [read: everything]. She provided many vendor options and found the best prices for all of the required services. She really fights hard for her clients to make sure the wedding day goes smoothly.
Looking back, I suppose we could have planned the details and sorted through the contracts on our own - given the time and patience. But one thing we are sure we could NOT have done was to be prepared for all the Murphy's Law things that go wrong at weddings - no matter HOW anal retentive you are. We did not fully understood how ridiculously lucky we were to have Nancy until the day of the wedding. For example, one groomsman lost a button on his jacket moments before walking down the aisle. By then, the bridal party already knew of Nancy's super powers and immediately started whispering, "Find Nancy!" And down she swooped with a sewing kit that appeared out of thin air. Also, my custom dress did not have a bustle for our first dance, so Nancy MacGyver'ed one out of safety pins. Oh, by the way, did we also mention that our venue double booked us and the earlier wedding party didn't leave at the time the venue "thought" they would? Yeah - there is no way we would have been as calm as we were if we had to deal with that ourselves. But Nancy and her team were able to set up on an extremely tight time frame without breaking a sweat. Ridiculous - I say. There are a dozen more things that I can’t write b/c of the 2000 word limit, but just know - you are in good hands when you hire Nancy - because she does not treat you like a client but like a friend.
Trust us and hire Nancy (Tip: Book early).
I was one of those brides who was dreading wedding planning, extremely budget conscious and skeptical about the value of a wedding planner/coordinator. I saw them as someone who simply helped organize the various vendors on the day of and limit my stress level on the wedding day. A task I thought anyone should be able to do without any particular skillsets necessary. I saw the wedding coordinator role as an area where I can cut costs by going for the most budget friendly person.
After meeting with a couple coordinators, I realized there's definitely a stark difference between nancy park and everyone else. Nancy exudes genuine passion and love for what she does and has the bubbliest sweetest personality EVER. If she can rub some of that amazing energy into my wedding and myself, i knew i would be in good hands.
So i went against my initial plans and went for the higher priced coordinator and told myself "hell yeah. i deserve this!"
As my budget started to creep up as they do for EVERY wedding, I started to question my decision to splurge on a coordinator. But once it came down to crunch time, WOW, Nancy proved to be the best decision i made throughout the wedding process. I consider her my lifesaver, b/c when i was stressed and about to call it quits, nancy stepped in with her big warm smile and scooped all my burdens away and knocked it out of the park one by one. She goes above and beyond for her clients and is so incredibly pleasant to work with. She's incredibly knowledgable, has great relationships, is extremely client focused, buttoned up and detail oriented, and such a hardworker (even my wedding party was impressed by her amazing work the day of). As big of a skeptic I was, she made me a believer! She definitely helped me make my day, MY day.. and i'm eternally grateful for her hard work, creativity, and friendship! i LOVE her and cannot recommend her enough!
We were really happy with our experience with So Happi Together. They were extremely nice and inviting, had impeccable taste, and were very patient with all our wedding questions. They were dedicated to helping us achieve the wedding of our dreams while staying within our budget, even going so far as participating with some of our DIY projects. From start to finish, they helped coordinate the million little details (even the stuff you don't even know you need to worry about) that made our wedding such a success. Best of all, on the day of the wedding, they took the reigns so that we didn't have to worry about a single thing. We were simply left to enjoy our special day, knowing full well that all scheduling and planning were in good hands, and indeed all the complicated logistics of everything was smooth and seamless. We could not have asked for better coordinators -- knowledgeable, tasteful, super sweet and cute.
Nancy is such a sweetheart and she made sure my day went PERFECTLY! I was referred to Nancy through a friend or a friend- she has a lot of experience in planning and I easily signed on to have her help with our wedding.
I will admit, I took on a lot of DYI tasks and details for the wedding and Nancy supported all my ideas and endeavors. Surprisingly, a lot of other wedding planners kid of scoffed at my plans for a unique wedding (no bridesmaids, "man of honor", DYI centerpieces) and were OVERPRICED. I had a lot of ideas and also budget constraints- and sometimes I felt that it would be difficult to make our wedding affordable and beautiful at the same time- HOWEVER, she made sure that my wedding was OURS. And it was beautiful. I wanted to be involved in making our day ours. Nancy lets you create your day unique to you and not someone else. And she also gives you as much support as you need. Never pushy and always willing to find a way to do things.
Nancy was exactly what we needed- someone to bounce ideas off of, give good vendor referrals (we met and booked Llanes Photographers through her), and someone who came through and executed our day so smoothly. She was always involved throughout the whole planning process and communicated with all of our vendors constantly. She made sure she was there for all our meetings, rehearsal, etc. She was so dependable! The vendors loved working with her- they couldn't have more positive things to say about her.
She is very organized, professional, and coordinated all of our vendors so well. I know that our day was hectic and she even brought a team of two other people to help out and make sure it went smoothly. She was constantly checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were okay, to double check little things (from making sure your vendors eat and are happy to making sure we eat and are happy), and to make sure we had FUN! We didn't have to worry about anything and I didn't want to worry about anything but to have a memorable day.
I know she will do great and her business is kicking off! She books ahead of time and is a busy woman, so sign up :)
Nancy is AMAZING. I called her my Fairy Godmother because she made my dream wedding come to life. She is blessed with a remarkable gift of party planning and having such great people skills. I can't say enough about her. She is truly a wonderful person and wedding planner.
I found Nancy through Amelia Lyon’s photography blog. I was browsing through Amelia’s blog entries, looking for ideas for my own wedding, and if you see Nancy’s wedding, you’ll see how adorable and friendly she looks. Her wedding looked like a dream and I just couldn’t get enough of those great pictures. It was a little “stalker-ish” of me, but I clicked on Nancy’s name, hoping she would have a blog or something, and lucky for me she had just started a wedding planning service! I was so excited I told my Fiancé right away!
I contacted Nancy through email and her friendliness and prompt response made me so excited to meet her. We met at a local eatery for dinner and we chatted about her services and about everything else under the sun. We clicked right away and I knew it would be a great fit!! She has a binder dedicated to each bride and she customizes her packages to fit each bride. She offers amazing packages and many a la cart items. At first, I thought it was a bit frivolous to spend money on a wedding planner, but she was worth EVERY PENNY and a million pennies after that! She went above and beyond any expectations I had of a planner.
I LOVE weddings and I consider myself a pretty organized person. I went out and bought one of those wedding binders the second I got engaged. But there are things that are so much simpler when you have a wedding planner. There are those random etiquette questions that you might have or questions about decision making (especially when your fiancé isn’t much help making decisions on linen colors) where a planner with a lot of wedding experience can give you their professional opinion. In addition, her opinions were always just that. She never forced her ideas on me, and always read me really well to determine what was best for our wedding. Anything I needed to know, Nancy would respond to me through text, email, or phone call as quickly as she could, usually within a week, depending on my “emergency.” She was able to put me in contact with several vendors and was able to cut really great deals to save our budget. She’s incredibly creative and added so many creative touches to my wedding as well.
When the week of my wedding came, it was crunch time for everyone and she made me feel like everything was under control. She NEVER seems stressed (which is very admirable) and it put me at ease the week of my special day. She had EVERYTHING under control. She was in contact with ALL of my vendors (and I had a lot) and took care of any last minute things. Her and her fantastic team (Bonny and Esther) pretty much collected my “stuff”, decorations and wedding junk and took it from there. My family and I were able to relax from that point on.
The day of the wedding, my family and I did not have to worry ONE BIT about the wedding or reception. There were no last minute tasks or setting up on our part. EVERYTHING was being taken care of by Nancy and her team. I didn’t have to talk to ONE vendor about anything. She did it. Even at the wedding, she bent over backwards in many ways to make sure we were taken care of and we didn’t stress about anything. I could tell you specific little touches she made to make my day PERFECT, but that would take a couple of PAGES!
I need to add that we had our reception at the LA Union station which was a blank canvas. No preferred vendors, no tables, no chairs, NOTHING! So, I needed Nancy to put everything together. It was her first wedding at the LA Union Station, but she executed everything like she was born there. She put everything together seamlessly and handling everything so professionally.
I can go on and on about Nancy and her wonderful team…literally. She’s amazing. We’ve become friends and I’m so happy to have had the chance to work with her. I won’t be surprised if she becomes a famous wedding planner because she’s THAT good. I’m honored to be a So Happi Bride!!

My daughter's wedding was on October 16, 2010 and Nancy was her wedding coordinator. Before I even met Nancy, my daughter kept on telling me how wonderful she was and I would fall in love with her. Knowing how I nit pick on everything, I know my daughter would not be telling me those things if they were'nt true. Then the wedding came. Nancy took care of us as if we are her own family from beginning to end. She was like this little grandma walking around the whole time making sure that everyone is having a good time and not worrying about things. She did the worrying for us on everything. She even took care of my grandson while we were eating. Nancy is amazing, this page is not even enough to enumerate all the great things that she did for my daughter and the family. And her assistants were great too.

I definitely can tell she is passionate about her craft. She is so enthusiastic yet so professional. One thing that sticks out in my mind about my sisters wedding is she saw me struggling with my 2 year old son during the reception. He was a little cranky considering it was pretty late. Without hesitation she told me how much the vendors love children and took him and his dinner to the back to let me enjoy mine. WHO DOES THAT?!? I don't have any other wedding planners to compare her too but as far as I'm concerned she is the best! Oh last thing is she made my sisters life so much easier during the preparation for her wedding. She will take on anything without question AND with a SMILE!!! BOOK HER NOW!!! NOW!!
Nancy was definitely a lifesaver for me during my wedding planning! I love her! I was so nervous and overwhelmed because I knew nothing about wedding planning and was so grateful for her help and support! I knew from the first email that she sent that I would like her. Not only is she bubbly, sweet, and enthusiastic, but she is also hyper organized and super on top of things! She is a wonderful and genuine person and quickly became someone that I looked to for advice on planning, design aesthetics, vendor recommendations, and even just friendly support. Nancy is great with people and has a good relationships with vendors and became a favorite between my mom and I! On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were able to throughly enjoy the day and didnt even have to worry about the little details (I had forgotten the table numbers and garter) Nancy is definitely a gifted stylist and coordinator and we are so happy we went with her!

Nancy had to handle 350+ guests, and a bride who always needed assurance that everything was going to run smoothly. I still think about THE day when I married Jimmy... and I still think about all the days leading up to the wedding... and it all feels like a perfect dream. All the meetings we had not only prepared me to be a beautiful bride, but it prepared me to love and treasure every moment I have with people I love, especially with the one person I will share the rest of my life with. Your presence really made the first day of our marriage the start of many more amazing memories Jimmy and I will share. (You make me want to get married all over again!) Our wedding day was perfect - thanks to Nancy from So Happi Together. We were just married yesterday, so these thoughts are all fresh in my mind. I met Nancy over a year ago and booked her as our Day of Coordinator after one meeting. She was friendly and bubbly. She was professional and composed. Nancy went WAY above and beyond her day of coordinator duties throughout the year of planning. Countless emails, meetings, help with getting my dress fitted, advice, suggestions, opinions, I mean...the list could go on. I am almost sad to write this review, because i'll miss her happy optimistic email responses every few days. Nancy is an A+++++ amazing coordinator, and someone who treats every person in your wedding like they are the most important person to her that day. Even when there were tiny things that went wrong, and were out of her control, she didn't let me know, and handled them to the best of her ability. I wasn't even made aware of these things on the wedding day, and she handled them flawlessly. She was there for my fiance and I from a year before our wedding, to the moment we left the building last night. There were SO many elements involved in our day, I had details packed into every, single minute. So many things to set out, people to keep on schedule...even I was overwhelmed by the amount of work she had to do. I am extremely detailed, but Nancy was on top of everything - answering my questions before I could even ask them. I plan events for a living as well, so I am very particular about things. Nancy respected that, and completely amazed me with her ability to handle me, and all of my crazy wedding day details. Nancy and her assistant Bonnie handled everything FLAWLESSLY, with ease, and with smiles on their faces. It rained the morning of my wedding, and I was in tears. Nancy took a moment out of her busy morning to pull me outside and show me that the sun was shining, and that the day would be ok. Even as I write this now, I am emotional because that moment meant so much to me. The day was perfect, and the rain went away. I seriously can't even imagine the day without Nancy there. I really feel like Nancy became a friend to my fiance and I, and I am honestly going to miss her!! I would 10000% recommend her to any bride that needs a coordinator.
We absolutely loved having Nancy be our wedding planner. She is awesome, has a great eye, great taste. I trusted her completely and she made our wedding exactly as how we'd imagined and wanted. She always came back with solutions when we ran into problems and helped us manage vendors when we needed it. She also really knew what look and feel I was looking for and was super creative at suggesting additional elements that complimented our event. I love Nancy because she has a super wonderful attitude, character, and always makes me smile even in the midst of craziness.
I loved working with Nancy from the very beginning. Right when you meet her, you can sense that she is warm, kind, and fun. I was thoroughly overwhelmed with all the wedding lingo, but Nancy jumped right in and explained things very simply to me.

I love how Nancy really pays attention to the details because I believe that each wedding is different because of the "personal touches." She really invests her time, energy, and sweat to make your wedding yours.
On the day of, Nancy and her assistant, Bonny were amazing. I seriously did not worry about a thing. The wedding day went without a hiccup. With So Happi Together around, I was able to enjoy the day.

We love love love So Happi Together's Nancy Park!!! I can name so many reasons why we adore her so much. Two weeks before our wedding my husband had a severe injury. Between taking care of him and relatives from out of town, I just couldn't finish all the last minute details such as signs for the dessert bars, menus. I didn't have to say a single word, Nancy just stepped in and took over. Now how many wedding planners will do that??
She's not only our wedding planner but she has become a friend, therapist (yes therapist! I remember calling her when my husband and I didn't agree on the invitation color lol) and my personal Martha Stewart :) Have you seen her designs??? Her enthusiasm and passion for weddings are truly contagious.

I was the MOH for one of my best friends and she had hired Nancy to coordinate her wedding. During the day of the wedding, Nancy was just absolutely PHENOMENAL! She was extremely punctual and she kept everything flowing smoothly and on time. If there were any "disasters" that happened, I didn't even know about them because Nancy had EVERYTHING under control. In addition to being organized and executing the entire wedding perfectly, Nancy was also well-prepared. Usually it's the MOH's job to have an emergency kit ready just in case. Well, Nancy had an amazing kit already prepared with everything you could possibly need in it! Because of Nancy, I was able to focus entirely on helping the bride all day long.
I only met Nancy 2 times before the actual wedding, but her personality is immediately evident. She is the sweetest and most wonderful person! She's extremely personable and she really does go out of her way to help you. We even keep in touch now that the wedding's over! I wish I had her at my wedding! I'll definitely be calling Nancy whenever we have a major event to plan.

My (now) husband and I live on the East Coast, but our wedding was going to be in Southern California – Orange County specifically. I started planning our wedding about 6 months before the actual date, which was a bit crazy. Good thing I found Nancy at So Happi Together!!!
I emailed maybe 10 or so coordinators, but found that Nancy's email really stood out as the potential perfect coordinator/planner. After talking to her over the phone for a looooong time, I decided that she was the perfect person to work with, since she really knew how to communicate with me via email what with our time difference and really understood what I wanted out of our wedding. Looking back, we planned a whole wedding almost all over email, which is amazing!! But let me say that I do prefer email to phone calls. Whenever I did call Nancy, it was so great to hear such a smiling happy voice no matter the time of day or night, and she would always be so happy to hear from me.
Nancy knew I wanted a candy bar at our wedding, so she went out of her way to go and buy beautiful red cloth and ribbon, but first making sure that the color matched my colors. I also wanted little tags for the candy, so Nancy again went out of her way to create such cute and fun tags better than I could have ever done myself! It was so beautiful, it looked like she specialized in candy bars!!! All the guests were so mesmerized by it that they were trying to mob the candy bar before the reception even started. I couldn't have asked for anyone to do a better job on a part that was so important to me.
Before the wedding, Nancy was so on top of things and helped me finalize my timeline and then checked in with all my vendors beforehand and distributed my timeline so everyone was on the same page. Between taking detailed notes about my preferences and asking very astute questions that I hadn't even thought about to the vendors (the DJ and the hotel), I was amazed with delight. Furthermore, Nancy's demeanor in speaking to other vendors is so friendly and warm, that all the other people we were working with commented on what a pleasure she was just upon our initial meeting.
She showed up promptly on the day of the wedding and with a big smile on her face and a big box of emergency stuff which we would continue to use all day. All day, we kept throwing things at Nancy like hairspraying my hair on 4 separate occasions to make it juuust the way I wanted it to be, to sewing my dress in a certain place since my girls thought it would look better, to wrangling my husbands relatives. My husband and I didn't see each other before the ceremony, but at the reception, we were already gushing to each other about how much we loved her. It was so helpful that Nancy speaks Korean since my in-laws are more comfortable speaking Korean than English. At one point in the night, we wanted our entrees, and Nancy, always looking at us, saw me motion her over and ran off to get our entrees served to us. I swear they came like 10 seconds after she ran off for us! Throughout the whole day, I never worried about a single thing, and when I came into each venue, everything was already set up the way we wanted it to be. She was so ahead of us and knew of everything that was going on before I even did.
Nancy stayed until the end of the night, and made sure that every vendor had everything they needed and picked up everything they had brought. At the end of the night, she looked as fresh and happy as the beginning of the morning.
Truly, she was born for wedding planning and coordination. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect, and we truly think that was the case because of Nancy. I never imagined that, not only would I not be stressed, but that our wedding day would go off so perfectly, without a hitch at all. She truly was a godsend and there wasn't anything at all that could have been better. We still can't stop gushing about her to each other and everyone else on how amazing she is. Thank you so much Nancy for making our wedding day beyond perfect!!!!!!
