SoCal ShutterBooth Photo Booths

My husband and I opted to go with a photo booth in lieu of traditional wedding favors which, to be quite honest, people either throw away or leave behind. Everyone loves pictures, so we just knew this would be perfect. Seriously fun idea for a wedding!!! They could take as many pictures as they wanted, or none at all. We also added the prop box, (which you must do this... it's incredibly fun and funny!), and added the feature of a scrapbook (which gave us copies of all - yes, all - pictures taken, plus everyone got to sign our book next to their picture(s)). We spent more than planned for the "wedding favors", (they were very reasonably priced - I meant more than planned from our budget), however, it was SO worth the money! And, *everyone* loved it!! We got so many compliments, and we loved going through the book the next morning! Completely awesome and amazing. The girls who worked out booth were super sweet, and I think they had a great time with our group. (We have some crazy fun family and friends). :) I ABSOLUTELY recommend Shutter Booth to anyone!! They were excellent, nice, professional, and totally a unique idea for a wedding. Give Cheryl and Sommer a call!!!

Booking shutterbooth was super easy! The staff is friendly and efficient. They helped me work within my budget and they have fantastic props. I talked to Cheryl about some ideas for the logo and she ran with it. She put a couple of options together and made the decision process very easy. The quality of the photos are awesome and having the photo booth at both my 20th Class reunion and our Client event made the the events fun fun fun. My classmates and my clients got really silly and had a absolute blast. I work for a hotel and I will absolutely refer their services over and over again. I just referred them to my cousin and she is trying to work them into her Wedding budget.

We were so lucky to have SoCal ShutterBooth at our wedding reception! Our guest truly enjoyed being silly and playing with all of their props. The attendants were amazing! They made sure that everyone was signing our book and even made sure my husband and I got a couple of pictures in (we were so busy, we almost forgot!). We enjoyed our book so much! This was truly a hit at our wedding. All our guests had so much fun during the reception. There are many photobooth companies out there, however, SoCal Shutterbooth is really the best I have seen out there. From their quality of pictures to their professionalism, I think we chose the best company. They are a little pricy compared to some other companies, however, you really do get what you pay for. We paid a little extra to get a scrapbook made that night, which was pretty much like our guest book. They put all the pictures that were taken that night in the book and created the scrapbook for us to take home that night. Overall we had a blast, and we were really happy with their services.

We saw Cheryl at the LA Bridal Show. It just happened that we were looking for a photo booth for the wedding... and it just so happened that Cheryl was my high school art teacher.
Their booth is large - it fit a bunch of people. Their prices are comparable to other photobooths, they have plenty of options as far as logos, color/black and white, etc.
Here is THE REASON to hire them though - while your guests take pictures in the photobooth, Cheryl creates a scrapbook for them to put the strips in and then sign next to. You get the scrapbook at the end of the night. We were able to see all the pictures taken in the booth and read all the comments that night. What a great idea!
Additionally, they host all of the strips from your event on their site and send you a CD of all the pictures.
If you're looking for something fun to have at your reception for your guests, SoCal Shutterbooth is the one.
SoCal Shutterbooth also did our table cards/favors. They printed the table cards with our logo and put them in acrylic stand-up frames that our guests could then put their photo strips in and take home. One less thing for us to worry about, plus our guests got favors that they would actually use. We have visited many of our guests since and they still have their frames displayed in their homes with their photo strips.

PROS: Great photo quality (probably the best), reasonable pricing (especially for the quality), super-fun! (guests love it), excellent customer service
CONS: None!

Photo booths are tons of fun to have at an event, and SoCal ShutterBooth has the best-quality photos around! We provided our own props (which I would highly recommend) and the images came out looking so good!

It's funny seeing the progression of photos from the beginning of the night, when people are a bit more reserved, to the end of the night, when everyone has had some alcohol and dancing in them and you can see people really let loose. Towards the end, we all looked freakin' psychotic in our pictures! It was so much fun! All of our guests loved it and kept coming back for more. And now that the wedding is over, we love going through all of the pictures and just reminiscing and laughing.

They provide an online gallery and a disc of all the high-res images (both as strips and as each individual photo by itself). We'll definitely print out and frame some of the more memorable ones.

Sommer was a pleasure to talk to (we signed with her), and the two booth attendants were very nice and helpful as well. I have to add that their customer service is awesome! Sommer called to follow up with us on the whole event and was so accommodating.

If you're budget allows for it, I would recommend SoCal ShutterBooth for your event. It was definitely worth it for us.

Shutterboothwas amazing, we had only decided that we wanted to do this a few months before the day, so it was nice that they were available and they were very flexible with the meetings si ce my husband and I had to drive from L.A. Loved ghat they had and option to make a guest book out of the photos people took since we had done our save the dates as photo strips (keep with the theme). They also provided props in the package we got and it was so funny to dress up and then see what other people did. Sommer and Cheryl were amazing and we found them to be the best priced photo booth for what we wanted. We want a phototbooth for every party we have now.

Having ShutterBooth at our wedding was the best add-on & unexpected expense we chose to have! Everyone loved it - there was seriously a long line of guests waiting to get in there! The two people manning the photo booth were friendly and helpful. Throughout the planning process, they were very quick to communicate with us about everything and sent us free samples to see what our logo would look like. Amazing print quality, great photos!

SoCal Shutter Booth was truly a fabulous vendor I'd recommend again and again. The mother-dauther duo (Cheryl and Summer) really work hard to provide an amazing experience during the planning, day-of and afterwards. All my guests had a great time in the photobooth and commented back to me how nice and friendly the staff were. We wish we could have another wedding just to use them again and I've already referred my family and friends to them. All-around A+++!

SoCal Shutterbooth was one of our favorite vendors to work with. It was consistently easy to work with them and communicate with them from booking them a year before my wedding, the actual wedding AND after! I was really pleased with how helpful Cheryl was throughout the entire process - even when I had a little bit of trouble with my logo which she promptly took time to fix herself. I couldn't have been more thankful for that especially since it was the week of the wedding. They truly want everything to run smoothly for brides and care about how happy you are with the experience.

As for the booth itself, it's fabulous! Our guests had a blast taking photos at our wedding and everything ran smoothly throughout the whole night. The attendants were professional and fun. We had no problems whatsoever.

And you can't help but love the fact that the CD with all the pictures from my wedding arrived on my doorstep within 2 weeks after the wedding! No denying Shutterbooth is efficient and professional. I wish I can use them for every party I have!

SoCal Shutterbooth is nothing less than phenominal at what they do!!! I use them for all of my photo booth needs as I have used other companies in the past for my client's weddings and have never been as impressed. They are professional, early to every event, have one-of-a-kind scrapbooks, and their booths are awesome!
