Gene and Linda were recommended to us by our sister-inlaw. After numerous interviews with photographers, it was clear Gene and Linda were the most experienced, most professional and the right one for us. :) From our initial meeting, we were impressed by the samples of engagement photos, family sessions, and of course wedding photographs. Their work exemplifies their passion for photography and people. Gene and Linda are friendly yet professional. They made sure we were comfortable in front of the camera and perfect in every angle. They spent time with us to make sure we were on the same page in what we are looking for. Prior to the wedding day, they took the time to visit our wedding ceremony site and our reception site (that are 60 miles apart) to make sure they know what the lighting, setting, condition of the each venue will be. Linda is extremely responsive by phone or email. She is super organized!!!! (I think she's more OCD than I am) They are always on top of their work; they will remind you to send them timeline for the day, where they need to be and at what time(and they are always early, if not on time to appointments), what/who's pictures we would like taken. They made my wedding planning so much easier because they took care of the details :) :)On our wedding day, Gene and Linda were the calming essence in my hectic day. They were supportive in every facet. Our wedding photographs were fabulous of course! Our wedding album was exquisite!!! The quality of the photographs and the album speaks for itself. SocalSunshine productions is a husband and wife team, Gene and Linda who were great! Very professional and listened to what we wanted, while giving suggestions from their experience. All the pictures came out great and the album is absolutely beautiful. They worked around our schedules and followed us to two locations for our engagement pictures! They managed to capture some amazing and intimate shots while being "invisible" in the sense that we never even realized they were there and yet they captured it all. If we had to do it again we would definitely go with them.

Gene and Linda are a passionate and skilled team whose joy of photography show in everything they do. Our entire adventure together was phenomenal from our impressive first interview with them to the unbelievable album delivery. Upon first meeting Gene and Linda, we were immediately enthralled with their style of photography but also with their personality and charisma.We decided to shoot an engagement session which was tons of fun. It provided us with valuable experience for how to behave in front of the camera. It also allowed Gene and Linda to take the best possible shots and put us at ease being photographed. Although the latter was not difficult at all as both Gene and Linda have a knack for making you feel relaxed and comfortable. We actually had so much fun we were sad when it finally came to an end.Gene and Linda also took time to meet us at our venue before the wedding day. This allowed us lots of time to pre-select our favorite spots to take all of our photos from family shots to romantic ones of just the two of us. Gene and Linda were unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable during this time, making pertinent comments about each spot and its affect on our wedding photos.Gene and Linda's true passion for their art shined at our wedding. They were discrete yet still managed to get the perfect shot. They captured each moment of our special day perfectly and thanks to them we have exciting, emotional and magical photos to always remember our wedding.Even the delivery of the album was outstanding, they went far and beyond making us feel that much more special. Linda & Gene are so great to work with! I have heard so many horror stories about photographers and luckily we didn’t have any of our own. We have received so many compliments on our pictures and our wedding album. They have great customer service, very quick to respond to every email. We felt very comfortable with them, which helped make our pictures more natural. They did such an amazing job capturing all the wonderful moments of our wedding and most of the time, no one even noticed them. They were such a great value - with their assistant, it was like we had 3 photographers at times. It's really difficult to choose a good photographer - most of the time you don't know what you are going to have to deal with. The reviews we read about Linda & Gene are what helped us make our choice. We were looking for a good price but we did not want to sacrifice quality, and with them, we didn't have to. What an incredible couple! From our engagement photos to the finished wedding albums everything was absolutely perfect. As a bride, it's hard enough making sure every detail falls into place. With Linda and Gene, we never had to worry about our photos. They made everything so easy! There is absolutely nothing that can compare to that feeling of comfort with your photographers. They are both so fun to be around and really helped us feel at ease. I think that made the difference in our photos because we could be ourselves and just have fun. Teaser pictures from both our engagement shoot and our wedding were up just a day or two after the shoot so we had something to show off until we received our official proofs :) That was so exciting to see especially when you're still in the moment. Our proofs were up sooner than the expected time we were given, the albums came in on-time, our pictures are just so amazing we can't thank these two enough. We have beautiful pictures of our amazing day and captured memories that will last forever. We hope to have Gene and Linda as part of our treasured moments for the rest of our "big days" to come.

Words cannot describe how wonderful Gene and Linda are. From the moment we met them when interviewing photographers, I knew they had to be the ones to shoot our wedding! There was one point during our meeting when I realized I was about to sign the contract and I forgot to ask my Finace if he was okay with this decision...of course he smiled and nodded because he loved Gene and Linda just as much as I did. From the E-Pics, to the Wedding Pictures to the DVD they made us everything was a million times better than what we had expected.

Gene and Linda just have a way of making you feel at ease. The morning of the wedding I was so nervous and couldn't sit still and just kept thinking about all the things that could go wrong...however when Gene and Linda arrived it was as though a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. They relaxed me and promised me that everything would be perfect...and it was!!!

It isn't only their loving personalities and their great stories...but their work (which is most important of course) is just outstanding! We picked up our album and video last week and I bawled on their couch as I relived our wedding day through the DVD they had put together for us. Not only did they create something that will be so special to us for the rest of our lives, but I know we have made a wonderful new set of friends as well.

Where do we begin? Gene and Linda are simply amazing! They are both personable, funny and very easy to be around. They are extremely responsive to emails and are willing to answer any and all questions that you may have. In addition to that, their number one concern is you. After our engagement session, they took the time to speak with us over the phone about the photos we liked and disliked and why we liked/disliked them so that they would know what sort of pictures to capture on our big day. On our wedding day, they were not a minute late and they kept us both calm and collected through it all by cracking jokes and taking control so we didn't have to worry about anything.Our pictures speak for themselves. The photographs that these two created are beyond beautiful. They work so well together to make sure they capture everything you could ever want captured on your wedding day. Once the most important moments were captured, they got them online within a week (before we were even home from our honeymoon) and eventually designed our albums which are just insane! We got the album with the crystal glance cover and every single person who's seen it says they've never seen anything like it! We also got a few extras that they offer, one being mini replica albums of our big one and every person that has seen/received one is blown away.Picking vendors that we were comfortable with and could rely on was the most important thing to us because we didn't want to have to worry about anything on our wedding day and these two fulfilled that completely. Although I'm not brave enough to trash my dress, we will, without a doubt, have Gene and Linda photograph our future family.Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!

Well Gene & Linda are incredible from beginning to end they do such a great job and not only that they make you feel like if you have known them forever. I really liked them since the first time we met them and saw their work I was so impressed. We had the best photographers! After meeting Gene and Linda there was no doubt that they would be our photograhers. They are very professional and very fun to work with. They have different packages to choose from. All of there product are top quailty and you will not be dissapointed. We got soo many compliments on our albums and the dvd.

After meeting with about 6 photographers in the area we met with Gene & Linda. It only took a few minutes to figure out that they were going to be our photographers. They had incredible packages to choose from at very good prices for the quality. Gene and Linda work great together, we felt very comfortable with them from the start. On our wedding day they were very organized and took lots of pictures, we didn't even notice them most of the time. They are very professional and quick. We had are album and prints sooner then we thought it would take get them. Our only problem is that we can't stop show off the album and DVD. We highly recommend them, you would not be disappointed.

There are a lot of ways to cut costs for a wedding but photography is definitely not one of them. When the flowers have wilted and the presents have all been opened the only material position a couple is left with are the memories, rings and photographs / DVDs. Gene and Linda are not the least expensive photographers available but the final out come is well worth the cost. Our wedding album captured every moment of our wedding that is important to us in a very creative and beautiful way. I've never seen a more high quality album before. Gene and Linda were able to tell the story of our wedding with collages of photos that follow the time line of the day. When they sent us the proof for the album we did not make 1 change - it is perfect! Every time my husband and I look through it we are able to feel every emotion of the day - the excitement, the comedy and of course the commitment we made to each other.

Gene and Linda also made us an incredible DVD, which was a creative way to put our photos together with music and they were able to record our vows. We never needed a videographer so this was a perfect way to capture the moments. My husband and I were both very impressed and touched that Gene and Linda took the time to make such a great dvd of our wedding.

Gene and Linda captured our wedding day better than anyone could have ever imagined. We knew from the time we met them that they would be our photographers. After meeting with multiple vendors who were cold and serious, we met Gene and Linda and were so happy at how friendly, accommodating and helpful they were, throughout the entire process. On the wedding day itself they were there early and took pictures so easily we forgot we were having our pictures taken. They were even able to capture my husband relaxed and at ease, which is no small feat for anyone. The album was also absolutely amazing. Linda was able to fit in all the pictures I had chosen (there were just too many good ones to not keep choosing them) and put together the most beautiful album. Everyone who has seen it has loved it and wants to know more about it. I have already started telling my friends about them and would recommend SoCal Sunshine to anyone.

Gene and Linda were absolutely wonderful to work with and captured our wedding day so beautifully. The pictures were top notch, the service was amazing, both Gene and Linda are friendly and easy to talk to, like talking to old friends. Half the time I did not even notice we were having our picture taken. The website is easy to use and has teasers up within a few days and the proofs up within a week. The are many packages, that are all reasonably priced to choose from and working with Gene and Linda is so easy. They answer emails and questions immediately. We knew right away after meeting them that we would be using them as our photographers. We met with other vendors who seemed cold and uninterested in taking our pictures, but Gene and Linda were so excited and warm and friendly...and take AMAZING pictures. The album is also amazing. Linda was able to put in all the pictures I wanted and design the most beautiful album that I will treasure forever.

Just completely blown away by the work they have done. Our engagement pictures were astounding, and our wedding pictures were no different. We were so happy to be able to meet them for the engagement session, and the work we saw really convinced us that we had chosen the best possible photographers. Gene and Linda are SO easy to get along with. They made both of us feel comfortable, feel like models, in front of the camera.Wedding day, they got there right when we asked (even with all the crazy holiday traffic!) Both of us, as well as all our friends and family just loved how professional and kind they were!They put teasers on their blog the very next day (4th of July!), and got our proofs on the website within about a week! They really captured us, our personalities and what we pictured our day to be. We didn't think we could afford an album, but we just have to have one after seeing their work and knowing what it will look like.ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!

SoCalSunshine Productions was absolutely awesome. From the first time I met Linda and Gene I felt completely comfortable having them do my photography. With it being a military wedding and my husband was deployed until 5 weeks before the ceremony, I was worried about the scheduling. They made me completely confident that everything would work out, in the event that I would need to change my date. Not only were they great people but their work is fantastic. Gene and Linda are the most sincere and genuine couple you could ever meet. Their professionalism and attention to detail is first class, which resulted in superb photographs of our wedding on One Foot Island, Aitutaki, The Cook Islands on May 7th 2008. This was followed by a Trash the Dress session two days later at the same location, which was the most enjoyable experience we could have ever encountered.Their love of photography exceeded all our expectations. They made us both feel so relaxed, which resulted in astonishing pictures depicting our special day and beyond.We felt as a husband and wife team, they captured things that lone photographers would have otherwise have missed. And even beyond the photo sessions, they quickly had our proofs online for viewing followed by the design of our Wedding Book, which was utterly amazing! They are truly first class in every way and very highly recommended!

I am the highschool friend of Emily's that also used Gene and Linda and we cannot say enough good things about them. After we saw Emily's engagement photos we fell in love with their work. We went to meet them and it just seems they know exaclty what you want and how to make it happen. We had told them for our engagement photos we wanted them to have a European feel (because we were having an Irish themed wedding in a German village) :) and they knew exactly where to go for these photos. It is a little awkward at first when taking the pictures because you don't know what to do, but they just get you laughing and it turns out to be so much fun. They photographed our wedding like 2 weeks ago and we just got the proofs back and we absolutely loved them. They did such an amazing job and we now have the hard part of picking out our favorites for the album. You cannot go wrong with these photographers because they will make you feel so comfortable and relaxed that you can't help but to have fun and take beautiful pictures.

We loved, loved, loved our photographers. We had some friends who told us about them because they photographed their wedding and they are absolutely amazing. They did our engagement session and our wedding and all the pictures came out so beautifully. For our engagement session we told them we wanted a European feel to the photos and they found us the perfect location. The photos came out so perfect. They are so easy to get a hold of and willing to accomedate almost anything you want. About 6 months before our wedding we had a problem and had to change dates and they were able willing to change the date for us without charging anything extra. They really are willing to go above and beyond for their clients and their photographs are just beautiful. We just got back our wedding proofs this weekend and we are having so much trouble picking out or favorites. They take so many pictures and they put up almost 700. I would recommend them to everyone because their work is perfect and they are a lot of fun. They make you feel comfortable while taking the photos and it is so much fun.

Where to begin with Gene and Linda's talent? They are a dynamic husband/wife duo that makes you feel like you've known each other for the past 20 years. I was timid to take my photos, but Linda and Gene were fantastic and very professional. Gene is the amazing behind the camera eye while Linda is the amazing in-front of the camera eye, making sure everything is just perfect for each pose. The pictures turned out amazing; far better than I ever thought were possible. I highly recommend them.

These photographers were amazing to work with. The minute I met Gene and Linda I knew I had to have them for my wedding! They were so fun and energetic and full of wonderful ideas. I was a little worried about my husband taking so many photos b/c he's definitely not as big of a ham as me... but he was sooo comfortable during the engagement pix b/c of our photogs being so laid back that we had a ton of great shots that day. Seeing what they did with our pix made me that much more excited for our big day! I was so excited to see Linda walk in the hotel room the morning of the wedding... just seeing her calmed my nerves and got me super excited. They stuck around all day and took amazing pictures!!! They sent me 3 teaser pix the next day before we left for our honeymoon...we came home to an awesome slideshow of pictures.. and less than a week later we had over 850 proofs to choose from.. Today I received the layout of our album and absolutely LOVE IT!!! Im so excited to actually have it in my hands... I used this vendor for my engagement and wedding photos. I recently got our wedding album back, and I couldn't be happier. Each picture makes me feel like I'm right there...visiting my wedding day all over again! The customer service was excellent and the photographers were very friendly and professional. They captured amazing photos without us even knowing(those are the best kind)! The wedding packages and prices were affordable and allowed us to stay within our wedding budget. Two thumbs up for this vendor!!!

My husband and I just received our wedding album and we are thrilled! We highly recommend photographers Gene and Linda Bejenaru of SoCalSunshine Productions. They worked as a team to capture all the wonderful moments of our wedding day and worked with us to find the right balance between the photojournalistic style and traditional style of pictures we desired. Not only were we pleased with them, but many of our family members and friends commented on how pleasant they were and how hard they worked throughout the entire day.

We interviewed many photographers before we selected Gene and Linda. We found them to be professional, hard-working, dedicated, and passionate photographers. They love what they do! We first met them at their home when they showed us samples of their portfolio. We found them to be very personable, friendly and welcoming. They recognized the wedding was our big day and made us feel special at our very first meeting. Just as important, we found them to be fun to work with throughout the entire process. They helped make us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

As is the case with most weddings we found ourselves to be very busy beforehand trying to complete all our arrangements and Gene & Linda were very accommodating and willing to work around our schedule. We didn't have many days available for the engagement shoot but they were able to accommodate us and were even willing to travel a bit to a nearby winery where we chose to have the pictures taken. A week before the wedding they met us at the church and reception hall so we could find the optimal photo locations and observe the natural lighting that would be available during those times. They even accommodated our request to scout out possible local beach sights for some sunset pictures after the ceremony despite the fact that the weather might not have cooperated. They were very open to all our comments and suggestions.

We found them to be very efficient throughout the entire process. They were very responsive to all our questions and emails. The engagement and wedding proofs were available online much quicker than we expected. Within a few weeks of returning home from our honeymoon we were able to view all the pictures. That in itself was a nice little bonus since they had filtered about 2000 pictures to 700. There was a quick turn around on individual pictures we ordered. Once we selected our final album pictures, which was no small task to narrow down 700+ pictures to ~75, they completed the album layout design incorporating those pictures much sooner than we anticipated. Our personalized customization and minor album modifications were taken care of quickly.

Although Gene and Linda were very efficient throughout the entire process, the bride and groom weren't necessarily quite as good. Our schedule both before and after the wedding was more hectic than we could have anticipated and we weren't always on top of things. Nevertheless, Gene and Linda were very patient with us and they reminded us of when they required our inputs or actions. We never felt rushed or pressured to make any decisions and we felt comfortable taking our time when it came down to selecting our final album photos.

Viewing the individual proofs and album layout online proved to be very intuitive. We found the web site to be user friendly, easy to navigate and fairly pain free. Pictures loaded quickly via a DSL connection. Ordering individual pictures could not have been easier. The only improvement we'd recommend is to include either a way to eliminate photos to aide in the final selection process or move pictures into a separate 'faves' area.

Finally, we found Gene and Linda to be quite talented and creative. As a team they complemented each other nicely. Together they offered a unique combination of photographic talent and creative graphic artists in one package. They took numerous pictures throughout the entire day while paying special attention to shot angles and lighting conditions of each situation. They were transparent to us throughout the entire day blending in with the surroundings but visible whenever we had special requests or wanted certain shots. We were very pleased with the quality and volume of shots that were taken. That's one of the reasons we selected digital photography.

The other benefit of digital photography was that the pictures could be easily edited, modified and/or combined almost without limit. Rather than selecting a single photo for our 11x17 engagement picture we chose several that we wanted blended into a collage. We really didn't know what to expect but we were very happy with the results. It's amazing what can be accomplished with modern graphic arts software and a dedicated creative individual. The engagement pictures and collage gave us great confidence about our choice of photographers and allayed any fears we might have had leading up to the wedding.

We were extremely pleased with all the wedding day pictures!! We found it to be very difficult to narrow down our pictures to only 75 for the album. While we were struggling to make our album picture selection, much to our surprise Linda was meticulously selecting shots she thought were best and was compiling them into a wedding 'Memory DVD' for us. We were truly delighted with the final product which we received much sooner than we had expected. The DVD featured a nice combination of engagement shots and wedding day shots all combined into logical chapters. It was all set to music which we loved and the way she panned and zoomed over the photos made it look as if it were real video. It was hard to believe these were "still" photographs. The DVD is a good substitute for those people that might not want to hire a separate videographer.

Once we made our final album picture selection we could only anticipate how the layout would be designed. We were not disappointed!! Gene and Linda delivered once again. We couldn't believe that it was our album! It almost looked fake, like something you would see advertised somewhere. We must have looked at the album proofs a few dozen times. It was obvious they took great care to properly organize the pictures and present them in fun and creative ways. We only had some minor edits that they easily incorporated.

After we approved the album proofs and selected the cover material, paper type and thickness, it was only a matter of time before we received the final book. We couldn't wait. Once again we were surprised to the upside. The album was delivered much sooner than expected and it was of superior quality. We chose the GraphiStudio album and could not be more pleased. The picture quality was outstanding and far better than what could ever be shown on the web. Truly amazing. Perhaps the best testament to the album is that my husband can be very critical and even he couldn't find anything wrong. We are truly delighted.

Of course we've shown the album to just about anyone willing to look and we always get the same response from everyone who views it, "WOW, how awesome" is a typical response. Another is, "We want to redo our album now." Not much more to say than that. Rave reviews all around.
