Solera Restaurant and Event Center

booking our venue was one of the hardest decisions we had to make. I wanted elegant and ornate, my husband wanted clean and modern. We settled on solera because the food is really good. Solera is a Spanish, modern event space with bold colors. Since I wasnt working with coppers, oranges, and yellows. It took a lot of work to get solera looking like I wanted it to look. In the end, the food was great but there were some pretty big logistical problems that I wish had been resolved beforehand. Their were some problems with the location and size of the dance floor that made is tough for any dancing to be done. Nonetheless, their banquet manager is very nice to work with and the food was rocking.

Me and the girls went to Solera for my bachelorette party (and all over Minneapolis). Had an AWESOME time!!! Their food was divine and drinks were fun and not too over priced. Such a fun night to sit on their gorgeous patio.

Solera is an incredible venue in the heart of Minneapolis. The 3rd floor ballroom is flexible for groups from 80 people (like our wedding) to 200. We loved this place because 1) it's not like very other hotel ballroom, 2) it's connected to a restaurant so everything was included (e.g., linens, silverware, tables, chairs), 3) the food is different, exciting, and excellent (tapas style served in 3 courses), and 4) the service manager was the best service manager we've ever met!

We would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone...in fact, we already do!
