We ended up using this vendor last minute when we upgraded our package at our ceremony site. They were so amazing about working with us quickly and still providing what we wanted. We had a 4 tier cake with each one a different flavor! The Spumoni cake was my favorite!!!! The best part about this place is that you can go back on your one year and get a new cake, not have to freeze the one from your wedding day.

We were able to choose a cake from Some Crust Bakery, because it was part of our package with the Coco Palm Restaurant. They were truly the best choice for a wedding cake!! When we did our cake tasting, they asked us what are the toppings we liked the most, and they created the cake tasting around what we liked. We tried about 7-8 cakes and we liked most of them, however, we only had a 4 tier cake. They allowed us to do a different flavor on each layer. They allow you to do whatever design you want and they work with you. I bought my own dry orchids, cake topper, and ribbon, and showed them a picture of what concept I wanted, and they truly did a beautiful job. The cake was delicious too!! Even after 2 weeks, it was still so moist and delicious. Also they make you a special top layer for your 1 year anniversary, so you dont have to freeze yours from your wedding day.

Some crust was great! I got a different flavor for every tier, the staff was super helpful with ideas, and once I decided on the design, the cake was exactly as I had pictured! All of the guests said the cake was delicious!

I'm not a huge fan of pastries, so I was always on the fence about Some Crust. However, everyone else always loved it, so I got my wedding cake from here. Holy crap. Just amazing! I've never had cake like that before, and it was so delicious! Highly recommended! I worked with Jill and she was very organized.

The wedding cake we ordered from Some Crust was absolutely amazing. It was beautiful and tasting divine. We were happy with their work when we went to the tasting, but even that didn't do our cake justice. We were so proud to serve our guests the perfect cake on our perfect day.

I love Some Crust! Our venue's price included cake from Some Crust or Rockwell's. I was much more impressed with the taste and variety from Some Crust. Their cakes were so moist and the fillings were unique and delicious! We had a 4 tier cake to serve 150 people. Each tier was a different flavor: lemon cake with white chocolate filling; chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries filling; white and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry jam filling; red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. Each were so delicious during our tasting. Our guests loved the cake. The only issue I had was that when my husband and I did our cake cutting, I noticed the ganache had hardened. But that could have been different factors throughout the day. I gave them 4 stars in value because they charged us a minimal fee for red velvet cake. The coordinator said it was due to the ingredients used in the cake. I make red velvet myself so I know cost of ingredients doesn't make a difference. But we still got red velvet because we knew our guests wanted it. They designed our cake exactly as I wanted it. It came out beautifully!

Everything was beautiful and tasty! I made a last minute design change and they described what they were going to do but I hadnt seen any pictures. It was amazing

I could not have asked for a better bakery. Our cake was included in our reception package and I am so glad Some Crust was one of the bakeries to choose from. Their cakes are so good and fresh. They are moist and have the best choices of flavors. I was speechless when I saw my wedding cake. They did an awesome job and it was the most pretty cake in the world. Our theme was garden/butterflies and our colors were blue. The decorator did a good job and I can't stop looking at photos of my cake! Thank you everyone involved in making our cake!

Some Crust was the bakery that we chose -- they worked with our venue to make sure that everything was delivered on time. The cake layers were delicious!! We chose 4 different flavors for each layer and my only wish is that we got to actually eat more of the cake during the wedding!I didn't have to worry about anything with SomeCrust. The cake was exactly as we had designed and it was there and beautiful at the venue. Not having to think or worry about the cake was the best part!

I'm Asian so I prefer my cake to be only lightly sweetened, especially only 80% of my guests are Asian so it's crucial that I have a perfectly sweetened cake. Some Crust Bakery delivered just that! I love it!!

Our cake was not just beautiful it was delicious! some of our guests commented on wedding cake never being "tasty" but have now been raving for days on how delicious our cake was. The banana, pink champagne, tuxedo, red velvet, delicious!

Our venue included the cake but we had three bakeries to choose from and we heard that Some Crust was the best of the three! We had our tasting and we were in love!The design came out exactly like we requested and all of our guests loved the flavors! We got lots of compliments on the cake & I can't wait for our anniversary cake!!

Some crust made my wedding cake. I had read a number of great reviews about them and they were included in my package with the Lindley-Scott House. Unfortunately I was very upset with my cake. The cake is supposed to be the showpiece of your reception, but mine was an eyesore. My wedding colors were hot pink and black, with a polka dot theme. The cake I ordered was supposed to match this theme, but the cake I received was red and black, like a lady bug. It clashed with my decor and I had to make all the cake pictures for my album black and white. People said they liked the taste of the cake, though, so that did redeem it a bit, but how hard is it to make the color hot pink????

Some Crust was the bakery my reception hall offered the cake through. It was a pretty cake and they were able to add special touches the groom and I wanted. The cake tasting was lots of fun with my mom (I didn't get any cake at the wedding, too busy running around). All the guests said it was great cake! Visiting the bakery and talking to the cake makers is difficult sometimes, they always seem too busy.

Everyone raved about our wedding cake! It tasted wonderful and looked beautiful. Great value over all!!!

Our cake was exactly how we wanted. It was delicious and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and professional.

Overall quality of bakery product was good. Suggest that future planners make sure that they save a partial or full tier of the cake to take home.

From the first moment we walked in to the shop everyone was beyond friendly and helpful. Our cake decorator took all the time with us to go over every single detail, she let us try about 7 different cake flavors till we were set on our favorites. The day of the wedding our cake was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have imagined it would come out that amazing. We had so many compliments not only on the look of the cake but on the taste as well. Some crust bakery is the best decision. You wont be disappointed.

The cake turned out exactly like we expected. We got compliments from many guests regarding the taste. The consultant at the bakery is very professional, but the staff you might get on the phone may not be as knowledgeable.

We went with a dessert buffet of cakes & pies, and our guests LOVED it! Everything was so delicious that we barely had any dessert left for my husband or I to have at the end of the night -- many people went back for seconds, if not thirds! The cakes were decorated simply, yet beautifully, just as we asked for them to be. The pies were awesome -- much tastier than many other bakers we tried, and were reasonably priced too. All in all, we would highly recommend working with Some Crust, whether you want a traditional wedding cake or some other tasty sweets for your wedding!

My wedding cake was delicious! The staff at Some Crust was helpful and friendly, and able to create the wedding cake of my dreams. They were quick to find a creative solution to complete a missing look to my cake and very open and understanding to any changes or request I had. My cake came out beautiful, it tasted great, and was a big hit at my wedding. I recommend that you do all communication with the bakery via phone or in person. If you are an email person like I am, you will have trouble getting a response through email. Other than that minor detail, I was very pleased with their level and quality of service.

Our wedding cake was so beautiful. I had to plan my wedding from halfway across the country, and they made it so easy to take care of this by email and phone. I hardly had to do anything - sent them a picture I liked, picked from their flavors, and ended up with a stunning cake! The red velvet is a little more expensive than the other flavors and wasn't my favorite. The lemon cake is incredibly moist and fluffy.

Wow, can we say TASTY!Our cake had 4 layers of different flavors. People at our wedding went back for more just to try the different flavors. 1) we had a black and white cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry preserves in the middle, 2) lemon cake with lemon curd 3) chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream 4) white cake with apricot preserves.it was gorgeous and the flavor was moist and not too sweet. I highly recommend this cake place!

Of the four bakeries we tried, this one was our favorite. We had to go with the four bakeries that the Coco Palm included in our package. They use a European buttercream that is so light and pleasing to the pallet. Our cake was delicious but it was not completed as per the work order. We had ordered it squared with off-centered tiers each rotated 45 degrees and they were rotated ever so slightly. This was disappointing to us but the vendor did refund us the money we paid for the design. Overall, I would still go back and order some cakes for birthdays and such because the cake was good.

Our cake was AMAZING! Everyone loved it. The staff was very happy to help us and were very flexible with all our needs. From the cake tasting until the cake was delivered, they were always very friendly and helpful. We received a phone call 2 days before the wedding confirming EVERYTHING with us which I appreciated. They have a wonderful amount of flavors to choose from and all of ours were excellent! I highly recommend trying their lemon cake with raspberry jam and fresh raspberries! Not sure about the value for cost since our wedding cake was included in our wedding package but I would hire them again in a heartbeat for another event!

Some Crust bakery did a great job on our cake. I provided them with a picture of what we wanted, and it was perfect. My guests thought it tasted great, and they provided us with our anniversary cake, boxed and ready to freeze separetly from our wedding cake!!

The cake was beautiful and it tasted great!!!!!! By far this was the best wedding cake I had ever tasted. The only complaint I have is that I had specified that I wanted a burgundy satin ribbon to line the bottom of each of my cake tiers and the cake that we got had burgundy colored fondunt or something lining the tiers instead. The cake still looked nice but I would have preferred the satin ribbon like I had specified. If there was a problem with the ribbon it should have been brought to my attention rather than just replacing it with something else and not telling me.

There was so many choices of creating the cake. The cost of the cake was very good and the little kids loved it! Came on time and it was my dream cake for my wedding.

Our cake was provided by the venue, so we didn't really have much of a choice--the Some Crust Bakery is what you get when you have your wedding at the Lindley-Scott House. We went for our tasting and were happy with the flavors; we chose black-and-white cake with chocolate ganache filling for the large bottom layer, white cake with strawberry buttercream for the next layer, and carrot cake with sweet cream cheese filling for the top two tiers. All of them were delicious at the tasting, and though I only got a couple bites of cake on the day, I thought it was yummy then as well.

More than anything, I was impressed with the artistry of our cake. It was BEAUTIFUL. We were worried we'd have a limited number of choices for the design, but they were very flexible and said they'd pretty much do whatever we wanted. I went through their previous designs and found one that I really liked, and we added a double ribbon of brown and pink at the bottom of each tier (that part cost extra, as it was made of fondant). I ended up photoshopping the picture they had of the original cake so it looked exactly the way I wanted it, and they replicated it perfectly. It seriously took my breath away when I saw it.

I'm surprised by the number of negative reviews for them, especially about their design work - maybe it's because I was so specific and provided a photo of exactly what I wanted, but I thought they did a particularly beautiful job with the design.

This location was included in my package. The cake was delicious! I will actually go back to get more after the wedding, but the only thing I was concerned about was... I went to take in my cake topper in and they couldn't find my order. About 20 minutes later they found it in the December orders, my wedding was in October. I was worried they were going to make it to the wedding, so I called a few days before and luckily they had everything set to go. The cake was on time and set up beautifully!

i love love love this bakery! i attended an event this past weekend and loved the cake! i went along on the cake tasting doing my maid of honor duties with the bride.the cake tasted so great.they were very thorough when they sketched the cake as well. their butter cream is very light and not too sweet.my friend,the bride, was very pleased with her cake.i will be using them for my wedding next year!

I can't say enough about how good this cake was. The one caution I would give is that the pieces we tasted when we were ordering the cake were not as good as the actual cake. Maybe they'd been cut for awhile...? The actual wedding cake was decadently good, was delivered exactly on time, and looked beautiful. The cake designer was easy to work.

Our cake was included in our package from our vendor, and this was the bakery they suggested. We were EXTREMELY disappointed...trust me it was NOT a bridezilla thing at all. The cake person in charge never even bothered introducing herself, so we just assumed that she was the person we were supposed to meet...the cake tasting did not get any better. The cake was a little hard and almost stale-like. She was NOT happy about this...we simply said, we prefer for the cake to be a little more moist and asked if that was a possibility, she immediately got offended and told us no, that was how the cake was. She walked away and never came back! She sent the cake decorator to help us the rest of the session. The cake really wasn't even that good!

That is when we called our wedding vendor, and they referred us to Federico's. We were SO PLEASED with them! We will definitely be using them for future parties and events.

I had initially had a good vibe going with our meetings and it seemed that everything was discussed and agreed on- Until the week before the wedding, when I found out that a certain icing decoration that was discussed and agreed on was not on their plans and was going to cost extra. I also hated the fact that they were trying to make it sound like I was not paying attention- I take detailed notes everywhere and I also had my mom and sisters with me to verify so Im not sure how else she thought she said it- I thought "whatever" and just agreed to pay the extra $35 bucks.

Wedding day- No black icing band around the base of the layers. It had some 2nd wierd green ribbon that didn't match and I still got charged. Not happy. The cake tasted, ok but I didnt even get a full piece. (Thats another review)

Some Crust came with my vendor package. I was only hesitant because I HAD to use the vendor. However, Diane, at Lindley-Scott House, reassured me. After the tasting, I was convinced. We chose two different cakes for the layers (chocolate raspberry and white apricot). Our guests were beyond pleased as were my husband and I. I had, again, a vague idea of what I wanted the decoration of the cake to look like, but they worked it out for me, and it was GORGEOUS. I have vowed to drive to Claremont every time I need a special occasion cake from now on!

Unfortunately had a really bad experience with this vendor. Cake both looked different than what we had discussed, and did not taste very good. Several of my guests commented to me afterwards on how the cake was dry and tasted as though it had been frozen. Cake did not have the right filling. Also, had specifically discussed with the cake decorator how my fiancee hates buttercream, and the slice we had was full of buttercream. When we called the bakery afterwards to inquire on what happened, they insisted the cake was right, were very defensive and didn't seem to care that they had made a mistake, since the event was over with and they were already paid. We were not even asking for anything, just wanted to find out what had happened.

I disagree with the reviews above! my cake was AMAZING!the cake arrived on time and looked exactly as planned! meeting with the decorator was a great experience as well. they gave me a choice of 6 different flavors that were to die for! we got to choose a different type of cake for each layer, which was great for all of the picky eaters in our families.my guests couldnt believe the quality of the cake.people even went back for 2nds! im very glad i went with this bakery for my event.we plan to return for every special occasion!

Some Crust bakery is the vendor that my venue uses exclusively for their wedding cakes. When I first saw their website, I was a little hesitant because it looks like their main business is cookies. But I made the appointment to go in for a tasting and I was really pleasantly suprised. They brought out four different cakes; a marble, a white, and two chocolate with different fillings in each. We ended up going with the white which had apricot filling in it. I have to say, I'm not a big fan of white cake and I dont actually care for apricots so when she first brought that selection out, I was sure I would never pick it. But we picked it and it was sooo yummy. I know when we told some of our friends what we picked they all kind of scrunched up their noses but everyone I talked to loved it. As far as the design, they basically just said to bring in a couple pictures for ideas and they would either be able to copy it or design something to my liking. I brought in a picture I wanted them to copy and they did it perfectly. On top of which, the icing was buttercream and it was so perfect looking, most people thought it was fondant.

This is the place that The Lindley-Scott House uses for their cake. The cake was good and the guests seemed to enjoy it a lot. A few went balc for more to try all the flavors we had!! Although a few said some of their cake was hard was the middle part from what they described as "being like it was in the fridge too long." My bridesmaids noticed a crack in the side which I didn't even notice! May have been from the set up. I loved the decor and they did it exactly as I described!!

Amazing reputation... Worth the cost.
