Something Blue

I used Something Blue for my wedding 3 years ago, and when my sister got married I recommended it highly. My sister's invitation and receptions papers were nice, but I felt like something had changed. It wasn't until later that I found out Nancy Ternasky, the original owner, had retired. What a loss to this little business. Her creativity was awesome. Something Blue is still nice, tho.

Working with Jennifer and Emilee was such a treat. I went to Something Blue for our Honeymoon Wishing Well cards as well as our Thank You Tags. I had an idea and brought it to Jennifer for the Wishing Well cards and she just ran with it. I was so thrilled with the end result! I had guests compliment how elegant they were. When It came time for our Favor Tags both Jennifer and Emilee collaborated on them. I absolutely loved them! They were such the perfect size to be attached to the picture frame wedding favors that nothing was blocking the photo inside. Since working with them was such an exciting experience I know in future events that need invitations I know exactly where I will be going. To Something Blue.

My wedding invitations turned out GREAT! I received lots of compliments from guests and still have people asking me where I had them made. Jennifer and Carolyn are both great to work with. They take the time to make sure your invitations will turn out exactly the way that you want them.

Nancy's work and shop are lovely. However, I did not find her to be as professional as the other reviews claimed her to be. I felt like she was disorganized and I did not feel like a priority to her. I went to her first because she claims to do thermography printing, which she confirmed during our initial meeting. After this meeting she e-mailed me to say she "could not trust her guy to do a good job." I stayed with her anyways because of time. She would loose price quotes, not see e-mails, and did not finish the product when she said she would. She also completely forgot that one of the sheets of the invitation was supposed to be blue, and never ordered it. Instead we used a cream to match the rest, but from the first meeting I had brought in an example of this sheet, and she totally forgot. The feeling I got from her was she was always rushing to get something done, and my project was on her back burner. HOWEVER, if this is tolerable for you, her product is very good. She does have a great eye, and good, artistic suggestions.

Nancy at Something Blue was wonderful. The invitations for my daughter's wedding were beautiful and unique. We had so many compliments on them. She made our table numbers and table lists with little notice and they turned out great. I would highly recommend Something Blue . Thank you Nancy got making everything so easy for us.

Something Blue owner, Nancy Ternasky is perhaps the most creative, innovative and resourceful business owner I have ever met. She treated me with the utmost professionalism while at the same time she managed to make me feel like I was a welcomed guest in her home. The atmosphere at her studio is very inviting and she Always made time for me. I know she was catering to other customers as well but somehow Nancy always made me feel like I was her one and only client. She even did some of her own artwork to augment an invitation I picked out to add another dimension of perfection! I Highly recommend Something Blue. I live in Riverside but Nancy's, Something Blue is more than worth the drive. When it's time for a baby shower (maybe in about 5 yrs!) I know where I will go to get the kind of service and product unavailable elsewhere. Thank you, Nancy. You are amazing!

Nancy Ternasky at "Something Blue" was an exceptional wedding stationer. She is very creative, has wonderful taste, is flexible (continually changed things for me until I was perfectly happy) and extremely patient. People are still complimenting me on the invitations, menus, favors, etc. She always thought about coordinating everything to make a beautiful table, etc. Nancy was the stationer for my other daughter Karyn who got married in 2007 and I happily chose Nancy to be the stationer for Michelle's wedding in 2008. I would highly recommend "Something Blue" to anyone who wants a beautiful classy wedding.

Nancy at Something Blue is a great women who is not only creative but goes above and beyond to provide each client with superb services. From the moment you walk in to Something Blue, you immeadiately feel comfortable and welcome. It is classy, yet not stuffy and qaint, yet has so much to offer. Nancy is also the creator of Bride and the City, which is a magnificent event unlike any other. It is a must do for any Bride!
