This webiste is amazing! I borrowed a beautiful Avant Bride headpiece that I would not have been able to squeeze into my budget if it wasnt for H.E.B. They sent it a few days before my wedding and it was the easiest process to send back. Brittany is awesome and always responds back to any emails! Ill be telling all my engaged girlfriends to use them for that special piece of jewelry!

I was so excited when I discovered Something Borrowed. They had exactly what I was looking for in bridal accessories. Their selection of Enchanted Atelier and other designers are just the ticket for stylist brides. An added bonus to their service is the ability to try on the accessories before you borrow. It is so hard to envision what your accessories will look like with your dress so this service was tremendously helpful. The accessories added just the right amount of sparkle to complement my Amsale Elle dress. I would definitely recommend them.

Wow the jewelry I wore was amazing! It added so much and I can't imagine not having the headband and earrings to compliment my wedding day look. Returning was very easy, the prepaid label was already in the box: all I had to do was stick it on and give to a bridesmaid to ship! Highly recommended, every bride should consider these rentals before purchasing.

I rented the Sophie necklace from them and it became the focal point for my entire ensemble. I was so grateful to find them because the rental price was a fraction of the retail value. I had seen the necklace in the window at a local bridal shop but it was absolutely out of my budget so I was grateful to find the option to rent it. I was worried about whether the necklace would show up in a timely manner since I was traveling for my wedding several days in advance, but it arrived early and in perfect, pristine condition. No would have guessed that it wasn't a brand new purchase. Everyone commented on the piece at my wedding. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

Happily Ever BorroWED (formerly Something Borrowed NY) is the premiere online wedding shop that rents designer bridal accessories at a fraction of the retail price! We know that after your wedding there is really no use for your tiara (unless you’re Kate Middleton), and that most of us don’t have the space to store yards of tulle and crystal baubles. We’re modern women who love fashion and aspire to wear gorgeous things on our special day. But we don’t necessarily value the possession of a one-time wear item. Partnering with designers such as “Enchanted Atelier” & “Justine M. Couture”, we’ve curated a special collection of veils, tiaras, headpieces and jewelry to “frost yourself” with for your special day. Any minor damages are covered (please, no red velvet cake fights) and after you’re done, just ship it back to us and we’ll clean and preserve it for the next savvy bride!

How far in advance do I need to rent my accessory? Happily Ever BorroWED can accommodate you from 1 day to one year before your wedding! Contrary to other bridal salons, our rentals are not confined by traditional and lengthy lead times. When does my rental period begin and end? Your rental period begins the day your order is delivered to your doorstep. We offer a 5 day rental period. For example, if you select to have your pieces delivered on a Friday, that is your start date and you would need to ship it back to us by Tuesday. In effort to obtain accuracy in tracking, we ask that you postmark your dress back to us by noon on the last day of your rental. If your rental period ends on Sunday or holiday it needs to be postmarked the following business day. If you need additional days, please organize with us in advance of your order. How do I pay for my rental? Paypal and all major credit cards. How many days in advance of my wedding should I rent my item? We suggest 2 days before your wedding. For example, if your wedding is on a Saturday, we recommend your rental start date to be Thursday. After the party is over, just pack up your item and ship it back to us Monday morning! How do I know if the accessory I want is available for my wedding day? As we’re in beta right now, we don’t have the ability to search by date. However, after you purchase your item, we’ll confirm with you that your wedding date is available for rental. Obviously, if not, you will not be charged! What if I accidentally stain or damage the item? Don’t worry! We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable and beyond your control. The $5 insurance fee covers any minor damage. In very rare and unfortunate situations, a rental may experience irreparable damages (our lovely bride got caught in red velvet cake fight, etc.) or go completely missing altogether. Should these travesties occur, your credit card would be charged the retail value (which is acknowledged in the rental agreement). How do I know my piece is clean? Each piece is HAND CLEANED between rentals and comes with 100% assurance that your rental will look sparkly and fresh when you receive it!
Regarding shipping and handling, our packaging methods are specially designed to fully protect and preserve during transportation. What if I want to keep it? Happily Ever BorroWED does not offer items for purchase. However, under extenuating circumstances, exceptions will occasionally be granted. Feel free to e-mail us with your request at contact@happilyeverborrowed.com How much does shipping cost? Shipping costs vary by state. Where do I enter my discount code? After you enter your information via paypal - it should send you back to our site to confirm your order. At that point you can enter your discount code. What if I want my piece delivered to a hotel or location other than my home? So long as a secured address is provided and a notified recipient can vouch for your delivery, we can ship to any location. What if I return my rental late? The borrowing possibilities of every gown are contingent upon reliable returns. As a result, we charge a late fee of 5% the retail price for each additional day your gown or accessory is not returned. We are grateful for you making us your something borrowed and appreciate you being mindful of the next bride. How do I return my order? Once your Cinderella moment is fulfilled, returns are on us! Just ship it back to us with the complimentary return label we provided and drop it in any USPS mailbox. There’s no need to iron or clean the item — we’ll take care of any reasonable wear and tear. Make sure you post the package by no later than 12pm on the return date. If your return date falls on a Sunday or a holiday, it must be postmarked first thing the following business day. It is important that we receive the dress back on time so we can ensure availability for the next Cinderella moment! What if I misplace/lose my return shipping envelope? Happily Ever BorroWED provides one complimentary return per order. If you misplace the label, it is your responsibility to send the order back by the required due date at your own expense. What if I am not happy with the item once received? Happily Ever BorroWED wants to assure our brides are fully satisfied. Feel free to contact us with any concerns about your item. Can I cancel my order? Cancellations of orders are allowed up until the day your item has shipped.
