I absolutely LOVED my bridal gown from Sophias. It was very unique--exactly what I wanted. The service was great before I purchased my gown, but afterward it was awful. My dress was a wrinkled mess when I went for my first fitting. They hadn't even taken it out of the bag. They left me back there in the fitting room and didn't even check on me to see if everything was okay. They do have a great selection there, but don't expect much help after you buy

I bought my dress, maids and tuxes at Sophia's and had a great experience! I found 2 dresses I loved and went back a few times because I couldn't decide. I also had 5 maids and 8 tux rentals with ushers and dads. I must have been in the store 25 times! Every time I went in I received one on one attention. There were a few times they were very busy that we had popped in that I had to wait, but it wasn't a big deal and I understood. The week of my wedding I picked up the tuxes and they steamed my dress. The girls were so excited for me and listened to me vent too :) They all made my experience special and everyone complimented us at the wedding about how beautiful everything was! Can't tell you enough good things about Sophia's!

Well, when I first walked into sophias I had the best experience, but then when i took in my bridesmaids to get their dresses I started to wish I chose them to go somewhere else. Not only was the owner rude to my girls just about every time I met her, she made them feel ugly. She meausred one of my girls that is a plus size but is none the less beautiful. She told my bridesmaid that it was depressing what she measured out to be. There were many other examples, but that was one. I am so glad that this experience is over with and that I never have to go back there. But I will say, I am absolutely in love with my dress and so glad that I found it.

I loved when I first came in and I got the personalized attention that every bride wants when she is trying on dresses. The problem came when it was time for the dress to come in. I ordered it in October and they told me it would be in in April. My wedding was June 5 so that was perfect. Well I called April 16, because I still hadn't heard from them and they said that what they really meant was late April. I then called back on April 30 and they said that it was expected to come in on May 13. That was three weeks before the wedding. I freaked out and was able to get it a week sooner than that, but overall I was not happy about the speediness of getting my dress.

I loved my experience at this store. They spent 15 minutes on the phone with me before I ever even went in to the shop so they could be ready for my appointment. They had dresses that I didn't see anywhere and the staff was very youthful and understood fashion. They actually pulled the dress I fell in love with and bought, it was a Robin Jillian. Haven't done maids yet, but we found 5 we really like. They are a very busy store, but I know why!

I was very pleased with my experience at Sophia's - even after having a bit of an issue at first! We had decided on my dress more than a year before the wedding - which included a veil and all! I had chosen a fingertip length veil with intricate beading along the edge. When they called to let me know my veil was in, I immediately went to the boutique to pick it up (I'll admit, the veil was my favorite part!! When else can you wear a veil and get away with it?!) I was so disappointed when the veil didn't lay just right on me like the veil I had tried on in the shop. They had informed me that the veil I ordered was teardrop shaped, which is not what I wanted (I forget the name of the other shape that I DID want). My mom and I discussed the wedding veil drama and I finally decide that what I REALLY wanted was a cathedral length veil. Unfortunately, because my original veil was custom made, they could not return it, but they offered to sell me the cathedral length veil with the same intricate details as the original veil for their cost since they had ordered the incorrect veil. Everything turned out perfectly and I ended up with 2 veils - which worked out even better!! I had the cathedral length veil for the actual ceremony (which made for some breathtaking photos!) and the fingertip length veil for the reception so I could dance and move without getting my head taken off!! I was so pleased and would definitely recommend Sophia's to anyone! Their staff is 5-star! Thank you!

Great Experience with Sophias. They were very kind to let me in on a tight schedule with out an appointment. Since I needed a dress fast, they helped me find one off the rack that would work.

5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!! This shop was the only place I went where I was given undivided attention, there weren't hoards of appointments booked at the same time and they have a HUGE selection of dresses for a great price! I found the dress of my dreams there and I love it! forget going to the other shops around the area! 5 STARS!

Fantastic - beautiful dresses many choices, they do alterations there, dress came in within plenty of time. Highly recommend them.

This was one of the stores that I looked at for a wedding dress with my mother and best friend. It’s a busy place and I remember that we needed to make appointments. I liked the wedding dresses they had here, I thought they had a good selection, and I liked that they had an on-sale section for wedding gowns. I found some dresses that I liked here, but nothing that I loved. My best friend did find the maid of honor dress that she wanted to wear, and my mother tried on a gown that she loved, too. I’m always nervous that MOB dresses look stuffy, but this was a beautiful dress, it was short and elegant, and we all agreed that it would look great at a garden wedding. My mother’s dress cost almost twice as much as my wedding dress, but she was so happy for me that day, and I wanted her to look beautiful! The maid of honor’s dress was also short, strapless, and really cute. They carry lots of different styles of dresses, so it was easy for everyone to find something that they liked.

I’m not giving the store 4 stars, which I think would generally indicate good/expected service just because I think the atmosphere is a bit strange at Sophie’s Bridal. I’m not sure if it was just the day we were there, but the staff members seemed to be arguing amongst each other. My fiancé and I were also made to wait even though we had an appointment, and we were never told why we had to wait. The suit selection was fine, and the suit that we picked up for the wedding looked great, but I’m not sure if I would go there again.

This was where my husband chose to get his tux, and I think they did a great job fitting him and helping him pick out a suit style for the big day. He rented his tuxedo instead of buying a suit because he wanted to look really nice, and we both agreed that there’s not too many chances for a guy to wear a tux. According to Eric, my husband, he booked and appointment and then the first thing they did was show him all the different styles of tuxedos he could have. He said that the staff was nice and not too pushy, and showed him what ‘most grooms’ choose, which is what he ended up choosing, too. This was his first tux rental experience, and he said that he was impressed by how big of a selection there was. The difference between my dress shopping and Eric’s tux shopping was that Eric was done in three hours, and it took me three months to pick out my dress.

I went wedding dress shopping here with my friends and got the flyers and brochures for my husband about the suits and tuxedos that he would be able to rent from them. The flyers don’t have prices, which is a bit annoying, but it gave us a good idea of the brands they carried. I went a second time to the store with my fiancé, and even though they were a bit disappointed that I wasn’t buying my dress from them, they were great about fitting my fiancé for a suit. They were great about making a second appointment for the best men, who went the following weekend to be fitted for their suits. I do not recommend going with the cheapest suits, because those rentals do look cheap. The salesperson was great about showing us the nicest tuxedos in a really good price range for a person on a teacher’s salary.
