Sound Connection was great for my wedding. MC Raphael and DJ Kyle kept the party going and the dance floor packed. Guests loved it! They played every song I requested and then some and there were lots! Everything flowed smoothly and they coordinated with the restaurant as well. Definitely worth the money. If you want a worry free wedding then Sound Connection is the way to go! Raphael, the owner was responsive, professional and put my mind at ease. And Sound Connection has one of the best DJ websites I've ever seen with examples and pricing. So easy to work with. 4 thumbs up!!

We loved using Raphael & his assistants for our wedding!! We used him for everything from invitations, to gifts for bridal party, bridal shower cookies,all the bride necessities I needed, to the veil, flowers & the limo.
Raphael & the wedding connection were simply perfect & the best in making sure that our wedding day went on without a glitch. It was simply perfect thanks to him, Mitzi & his gang of assistants he used for the day & evening. I would highly recommend him & his wedding business & his assistants to anyone that was going to be married & have a wedding or any event really because without him & his buiness we would not have had a great day!!! I had Raphael & his gang of assistants & Mitzi his coordinator do everything for our wedding & they were fabulous!!!! They did everything for our wedding, from wedding invitations to brides essentials to bridal shower invitations, bridesmaids gifts, to family gifts & I have to say personally that everything was absolutely perfect, especially on our wedding day. And I highly recommend Mitzi she was magnificent & she kept all of our guests well informed about what was going on at the ceremony & at the reception. Mitzi made sure that I was made up perfectly at the ceremony & at the reception she kept checking on my make up & hair making sure that everything fell perfectly in line. Mitzi also gathered everything up at the church & made sure that I got everything back I was supposed to get back from the reception after the wedding was over for evening. We loved her & we loved Raphael & his gang . We loved the brief Bio he wrote about us & every word of it was so true!!! It was truly perfect in every way!!! We couldn't have asked for a better Dj & coodinator.

What a BLAST we and our guests had at our reception. Raphael, Derrick, and Kyle were amazing. Raphael and his team had our guests interacting and entertained from the moment the stepped into the reception. He was there early to set up with his team to make sure that everything went perfectly smooth. The guests were on the dance floor the whole night. The party never stopped. Even the people that normally sit back and watch were up dancing. We were on the dance floor the whole night and our pictures demonstrated how much of a good time we all had. He even had some wonderful games for us to play to keep people interested when we weren't dancing. They even made an interactive love story for us to set the mood and get the guests pumped for our grand entrance as husband and wife. Sound Connection made our event fun, exciting, and memorable. We had a wonderful time and our guests can't stop talking about how much of a great time they had. We are so thankful that we had them for such a special occasion in our lives. Raphael and his team were absolutely INCREDIBLE! Raphael was available to answer any questions and help with any needs at the drop of a dime. Not only did he provide fantastic entertainment, but he helped me plan transportation, provided a photo booth (which was a huge hit) and gorgeous wedding invitations. Sound Connection was one of the first vendors we booked when we were still planning our wedding. My husband and I did research a lot of DJ companies but never really made an appointment to meet with them. When I found Sound Connection online, I definitely liked what I saw and I immediately set up an appointment to meet with Raphael. Raphael was so helpful and gave us a package that was suitable for us. He provided a lot of options and add ons for us to chose as well. We booked him on the spot because he just made us feel at ease. Closer to our wedding date, when all questions started popping out of my head, he was always there to answer them and was always very responsive to any inquiries. He helped us with our reception timeline which made the night run smoothly. We didn't give Raphael a "must play list" only because we were so confident with him and his team. My family is Filipino and my husbands family is Colombian and they took note of that when they picked the song selections. Until now people are still asking if we picked the songs out, but all credit goes to the Sound Connection team for being so detail oriented. I'm so glad Sound Connection was part of our day, we weren't just another wedding for them. They helped us so much and took into account our requests. The music was perfect, my guest had a wonderful time. I cried when i saw my wedding pictures, not one by myself. They say its a thousand pictures.(not true) a lot of duplicate. To many darn duplicate. We got married 9-30-12, still no wedding book cause, I'm not happy with my pictures. I feel the price for the music was good. I should receive a discount on the pictures, not one a lone. I feel camera men just wanna to be done, and over. Snap, Snap, Snap lets go. only recommend the Dj.

Sound connection made my weddi a night to remember always they were professional , courteous and made our wedding so much less stressful for us . With their years of experience they knew exactly what we were looking for they even set up the whole schedule of events for the night , Roy was an amazing master of ceremonies he was funny , romantic and really got the guests dancing and Andy was also as amazing he knew exactly what to play ... My make up of guests was very diverse and he played exactly what everyone wanted to hear ... I could not say enough wonderful things about Raphael and Sound Connection. We didn't really know what type of music to play, but his recommendations were spot on and kept everyone moving along even if they weren't on the dance floor. Everyone had such a great time dancing, and we LOVED that he made the effort to get the whole crowd out on the floor with us. Raphael and his team at Sound Connection made the night a memorable and great night for my wife and I, as well as all of our guest. Since the event we have heard nothing but great reviews from all of our guest about how professional they were while making the event memorable. With the addition of the strings for the ceremony, the vocalist for the cocktail hour, and the DJ for the reception it made for a nice mix and a unique surprise for our guest to enjoy, besides the actual services, Raphael was more than helpful throughout the entire planning process and we would absolutely recommend Sound Connection to anyone.

One of the most important things for us at our wedding was for people to have fun. We wanted people on the dance floor from start to finish! Wow, did Raphael and his crew make that happen! DJ Derrick kept the music pumping and Raphael kept the crowd engaged. People were literally on the floor all night until the very last minute!

Raphael was very easy to work with, took our song suggestions and created a playlist for our reception that was perfect. He had great suggestions for the entrance songs, cake cutting etc. He took our last minute changes in stride. Sound Connection was overall very professional and easy to work with. When I see 5 star reviews I usually do not believe in the feedback, but for our wedding Sound Connection, MC Raphael and DJ Luis met every expectation we had and did an amazing job. Our friends and family are still talking about how everyone never stopped dancing and everything ran so smoothly.

There may be a large number of DJ's to choose from in the New York and Long Island area, but Raphael and Sound Connection were the most responsive to all our needs. They personalized the event to the exact music we wanted, had great recommendations on the overall reception entertainment, and played the perfect songs that kept everyone going. We had a full spectrum of guests ranging from traditional Chinese to young friends that follow DJs all over the world. Sound Connection provided the perfect mix of sound and lights to create an elegant atmosphere that pleased everyone. Even when they really turned on our hard core house music we wanted played later in the night the elderly stayed up until 1:00am to not miss out on the fun. That was impressive.

Sound Connection is a great professional team that followed-up with all our questions and gave us great guidance for our wedding to make it the best possible time for everyone.

I honestly couldn't have found a better DJ for my special day. The energy in the reception was up beat and amazing because the music was perfect from start to end. Hi Raphael, When we met you, I knew right away that we will get you as our DJ. Your such a sweetheart, you where so nice and patient to us. You helped us a lot with regards to picking up songs all the way to run the program in the reception. ON the day itself, we started a little late so I got worried that we will be short of time, but everything went well and everything we talked about were done. Mostly all the songs we requested, you played it. We really had a blast that night and part of it, is because of you. Out guests keep on complementing that the DJ we have "HES GOOD,GREAT JOB". Raphael of Sound Connection helped make our wedding perfect! After meeting a few times with us, he knew exactly the kind of music we wanted played, and delivered 100%. He provided the music for our ceremony, as well as reception. He had everybody on the dance floor the entire night which was our only goal. He even played the specific requests I had asked for during dinner. At the end of the night he played the last song, and our family started to chant "One more song!". Raphael turned his equipment back on and gave us one last song. We went with a very basic package for our wedding, but I can just imagine what he'd be able to do with all the extras. I recently relocated to the New York, from Georgia, three months prior to our wedding day. I found it extremely difficult planning a wedding in a city and state I was no familiar with. But I took a chance, and my Fiancé (now husband) and I were thrilled with the exceptional work of Sound Connection. Raphael and his staff were responsive, prompt, and professional throughout the entire process.

Because of our faith, we found it challenging locating a suitable DJ/MC for our "special Day" We provided several music files for inspiration and left the rest in your hands of the Sound Connection staff. We where a little nervous, not knowing what to expect. But EVERYTHING went exceptionally well. We couldn't have asked for any better service.

Raphael's creativity really came through during the wedding reception-convincing everyone to use the dance floor!!! While being relatively unobtrusive, Sound Connection managed to capture comprehensive footage of excellent quality. In the perspectives of scenes that are captured, the compelling effects used in filming, and artful editing, our wedding guests (even 3 months after our wedding), are calling to say "thank you" for such a wonderful experience.

For the amazing quality and creativity provided these services are quiet reasonably priced. We have even had to contact Raphael to purchase additional copies for guest for their own personal souvenirs. We couldn't be happier with the services provided for our wedding by Sound Connection!

Last night was absolutely amazing!!!! Raphael was an AMAAAAAZING MC, the lighting was gorgeous and the dj was siiick. He played everything just the way I had imagined it. That dance floor was packed all night. I had trouble getting through the dance floor at times. Felt like a club. I had an unbelievable time. My only problem was that I was sweating so much from the dancing. lol. My favorite part was the end of the night with the classic hip hop. Raphael coordinated everything and made it easy for me to drink, eat and dance, dance, dance. Mission accomplished. The picture file of the wedding was beautiful. I was able to watch the whole wedding happen in pictures. EVen saw things that I missed myself. Everyone seemed to look like they were glowing. Thank you so much for everything. It has to have been the best wedding in history!!!! Just saying...

Working with Sound Connection was the best experience of my wedding planning. Rafael was one of the first vendors we booked and from that moment on we were treated like family, not as clients. Your phone calls and emails are always answered in a timely manner. Rafael will sit with you and examine every detail of your wedding for you to make sure everything goes perfectly. On our wedding day the music, lighting, gobo lighting, and introductions were perfect. For our coctail hour we booked a singer to serenade the guests and he was amazing! Later on he went on to play the bongos and drums during our dancing sets! The music flowed perfectly!!! They had people dancing all night at our wedding. Wedding Connection's staff is very profesional. They make your wedding go smooth and without a glitch, they make your day very special. You can enjoy your day with no worries. The music was incredibull I still have family and friends telling me they have never been to a wedding like mine, all the seats were empty because everyone was on the dance floor enjoying the music and dancing. All the activities were on time and had more than enough time to dance and have fun. I would recommend them to everyone that would ask me for a wedding planner.

My overall experience with Wedding Connections was ok up until the day of the wedding. Raphael was a pleasure to work with in particular because our event was a Christian wedding. He understood all the dynamics pertaining to a Christian Wedding. My only concern was that my MC (I won't say the name) disappared for a while and the DJ took over, I thought it was too long of a time for the MC to be absent from the event. I was not comfortable with a DJ taking over whom i have never met or had a conversation with. I was not fully satisfied with the 700 pictures that were taken. I feel that i do not have 80 good solid pics to choose. I cannot rate the video at this point as i have not picked it up. The best feature WC is Raphael! He knows his stuff and does exactly what you want.

DJ assisted in music selections and contributed to our ideas to enhance our playlist. It enabled us to incorporate all the music we wanted from a vast selection of every type of music you could possibly imagine. DJ used state of the art equipment so the quality sound was superb. I highly recommend this DJ because we got a complete music package and his expertise as well.

Our DJ (Raphael) was great. He played everything on our song list. The only thing we were disappointed at was we bought the giveaways ourselves and they were never given out. All our requests were fulfilled respectfully. We have referred sound connection for another event.

Working with Raphael and his crew has been a pleasure. His professionalism is 2nd to none and his attention to details is excellent. My wife like most bride out there are very particular about the big day and tends to over worry. Raphael was so on top of things he put her at ease. Everyone at the wedding had a blast. I can't say enough about Rafael and Louie!! I wish I could put 10 stars up for each category. Prior to our wedding day, they met with us and took the time to listen to the type of music we wanted played (60's, 70's,80's) and that is exactly what they played. They were the quarterback to our wedding. Rafael, the MC, was experienced in how Asian weddings worked and was able to coordinate the timing of when dishes were being served and when to get the guests dancing in between courses. EVERYONE said our wedding was a hit including the wait staff. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!! We just has sooo much fun.

Words alone cannot express how incredibly thankful I am to Raphael and the entire Sound Connection staff for the amazing job they did at my wedding! The MC and music were perfect!
