The manager (and drummer) for Sound Influence was very acceptable to the songs I wanted. He gave us access to their playlist and allowed me to select what I really wanted to hear. My reception was inside and I was worried that a "live band", playing dance music, might be too loud. The sound level was perfect! You know how you can get a sore throat from trying to scream over the music? Well, we did not have that problem. The selections allowed everyone to dance... slow to rocking. I highly recommend Sound Influence.

Sound Influence, a premier variety dance band based out of Atlanta, GA, is available to perform at weddings, Bar/Bat-Mitzvahs, private parties and corporate events throughout Georgia and the Southeast.

Sound Influence offers a very wide and diverse selection of music, from the great standards of the 50’s, all the way through today’s hottest hits. Whether it’s jumpin’ swing, 50’s Doo-Wop, 60’s Rock n’ Roll, 70’s Dance Fever Disco, 80’s dance, the best of Country (yesterday and today), or the upbeat high energy hits of today. Since most events include people of all ages and tastes, we can provide the variety required to satisfy you and your guests. Every song is geared for dancing and fun, along with strong lead vocals with dynamic, powerful harmonies. We are able to customize our performance play list to create an event like no other. Sound Influence will satisfy your musical needs. We challenge you and your guests to stay in your seat!

Sound Influence uses the latest and best equipment available, including a very tasteful light show along with special effect LED and laser lighting. To ensure the professional quality that you deserve, we also provide our own sound and lighting engineer, at no additional cost to you. Wireless microphone systems are used to allow the lead vocalists the freedom to interact with the audience and not be confined to the stage area. We can help incorporate any speeches along with a Master of Ceremonies, if desired. We can accommodate any theme or color selection with wardrobe changes, or props for a sleek, sophisticated and professional appearance. You provide the guests and location, and we will provide the entertainment and fun!

Perhaps one of the things we are most proud of is that we provide the audience with a complete package of ENTERTAINMENT – not just DJ style music. We love going out into the audience to get them involved, dancing with them to the Electric Slide or having fun contests and trivia. We can also accommodate any themed events, such as sock hops, disco nights and many others. During the band breaks a DJ service is provided at NO ADDITIONAL COST, allowing the dancing, partying and fun to continue non-stop, making your event a success.

Do you have liability insurance?

What is your band's usual attire?

We dress as required for the occasion. We can dress anywhere from casual to black tie.

Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?

We can supply a CD by request, however our promotional music is available on our website by clicking on the "Promo Music" navigation menu item near the top of any page.

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?

Yes, we are willing to learn new songs with enough advance notice. Our goal is the satisfaction of the client and their guests.

How much time do you usually need for setup?

We need a minimum of three hours for setup and sound check.

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

We can provide a banner or sign, however we want to be sensitive to the guest(s) of honor and do not want to use their special event as promotional time for the band without prior consent.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

We have special lighting that projects on the band. Plus, we provide dance floor effects lighting.

Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?

We can emcee the event, when requested, or provide microphone access for special speakers or announcements.

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

Our two lead vocalists use wireless microphones and directly interact with the guests to get them on the dance floor and even get on the dance floor while singing for some songs, where appropriate.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Each set is usually divided into a one hour block of time. We usually play for approximately 45 minutes and then take a 15 minute break. However, there usually isn't a break during the last set (this allows us to play up to the event end time) so our break times may vary depending on the number of hours we are hired to play for the event.

If food is being served at the event we do ask that the client provide food for the band.

Do you play recorded music during your break?

Yes!

If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?

We have alternate musicians we are able to bring in to fill-in for the missing band member.

What is your overtime rate?

We are willing to play a few songs past the original arranged stop time, and usually this is at no-charge. However, if more play time is requested the overtime rate depends on the original event play time due to the required time for setup and take down.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

If we have to travel outside the Atlanta, Georgia area we ask for gasoline reimbursement. If food and lodging are required we ask the client to pay those fees. We do not markup travel expenses.

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

We require a 50% down payment to secure the event on our calendar.
