Sound of Success

Our Dj was good. The company was a liitle slow in responding to emails. The dj was on time and and was very professional. We had the basic package which was perfect for us. They have packages for every budget.

We were very pleased with our DJ

The DJ showed up over an hour late and since he was being used for music for the ceremony, everyone at our wedding had to stand around for over an hour waiting for him to show up. We gave him a stack of CD's and said that he was to play those CD's and nothing else. He decided to play music other than the CD's and we had to repeatedly stop and go over and tell him to turn off what he was playing. We told him not to MC at all. We did not want him introducing us of saying anything into the microphone. He decided he would introduce us anyway and got both my name and my husband's name incorrect and decided that although I kept my maiden name he was going to introduce me with my husband surname. He started our wedding song half way through the song and after walking out on the dance floor for our first dance, we had to stop and go to him and ask him if would play the song from the beginning. I wrote the company afterward and told them all of my complaints with the DJ and they told me that it was not their problem. We paid for the Ultimate Lights package which was to include lights and surround sound. There were no lights provided and no surround sound. Finally for the climax to the evening, the DJ, in front of several of my guests grabbed my mother by the arm and said tactfully, “You Diane’s motha. I want my money.” I didn’t see in the contract the part where the DJ was allowed to touch the guests or be at all threatening. When they say something is going to go wrong at your wedding and prepare for it, everything that went wrong at our wedding was due to Sound of Success DJ's. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Horrible.

Sounds of Success worked out great for us. We were able to pick out all of our music online and were presented with our entire music library on CD after the event. Elian did a great job, and we had people up and dancing from the Salad on through the night. Everyone was having such a great time that we extended the reception another hour. At the end of the night, he wowed us all with a surprise breakdancing performance-Wow!

Love the online music wizard. We were able to choose the music for our entire reception from a massive play list. Our DJ provided the perfect ambiance for an elegant dinner followed by everyone on the dance floor for a great night of dancing!
