Sounds Abound did our Ceremony music and our Reception. We met with Jeff Wells and liked him so much during our introductory meeting that we asked him to be our DJ. Throughout the whole process, Jeff was nothing but professional, friendly, and accomodating. The ceremony went perfectly, and at the reception, our dance floor was packed all night long!They have an easy to use online planner where you can list your Must plays, play if there is time, and do not play songs. They will play anything you want. We even had Jeff repeat a song later in the evening because everyone has such a blast with it.The rest of the office staff is helpful and friendly. We got our wedding invitations there as well and we got 30% off becuase we had booked a DJ. They also have photo/video services and a wedding shop where we bought our Sand Ceremony material.Choose Sounds Abound and you will not be sorry.

Sounds Abound was awesome from start to finish! We used Sounds Abound for uplighting (which looked great!) as well as DJ services for our wedding reception in September 2011 at the Westin in Lombard. Also, the Sounds Abound office has a wedding shop with a huge selection of invitations and wedding accessories (toasting flutes, ringbearer pillows, bridal party gifts, etc.), which I definitely visited to purchase some things for my wedding! Jeff was great to work with during the time leading up to our wedding, and he answered all of our questions very promptly via email and telephone. The website is also very easy to use and has a lot of helpful information on it, including video clips of each DJ at actual past weddings, which we thought was great. We chose Tony Ho as our DJ based on the videos, because what we saw was exactly what we wanted at our wedding – a fun, energetic and engaging DJ. We definitely made the right choice with Tony! We had a telephone meeting with him before our wedding where we discussed our music likes/dislikes (we are into dance/club/B96 and KissFM type music, which he said he also liked), and he and the 2nd DJ, Mike, totally hit it on the mark at our reception. We loved every song they played, and our friends (and us!) barely left the dance floor from 9pm to 1am. Even when the reception was over, the lights came on, and they started playing Justin Bieber to let us know it was time to go, we all kept dancing anyway since we were having such an amazing time all night! Tony Ho made our wedding so much fun for us and our guests, and we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out thanks to Tony Ho and Sounds Abound!

We could not have asked for a better experience with our DJ Tony Ho and Sounds Abound! We have gotten so many compliments about the music - everyone was talking about how great the music choices were. We even had some people ask for the playlists! People thought we had picked all the songs ourselves - they were surprised when I told them it was all Tony! He definitely understood the type of music and the type of atmosphere we were looking for. He took the time to really ask us about our music preferences and how we wanted that to play out in the reception. We were beyond pleased with everything from beginning to end and will definitely be recommending Tony and Sounds Abound to our friends!"

Our DJ was Keith Talaga, and he was great!! He provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as set up a screen for a photo display during dinner (which we requested very last minute and Sounds Abound happily provided with no problem). We didn't give him an extensive "Must play" list because we trusted that he could get our party rockin' without it, and we were right! Keith kept everyone dancing all night, most people stayed til the very end, filling the dance floor! He completely kept to our Do-not-play list, and played requests our guests asked for! It was an awesome night, and I HIGHLY recommend using Keith and the rest of the guys at Sounds Abound for your party needs!!

Jeff did an awesome job! He played a variety of music, starting with stuff the older guests would enjoy and then moving to more dance/new music later in the night. He even filled in for a bit during cocktail hour when my Spanish guitarists were running late. Very professional job!

I used Craig as my DJ. He was rude, pushy, and didn't listen to anything I told him that I wanted played. When I went up to him at my wedding reception to ask him to play different music he was so rude to me, I was beyond upset. I emailed the owner after the wedding to tell him how upset I was with his services and he just stuck up for Craig. I would never use this company!!!

Our DJ was just amazing. He always made sure to keep i contact with us, phone, via-email and offered to meet with us if we needed as many times possible. Very professional along with the other people who work at the company who were on top of things making sure our day would be perfect. The day of the weddding showed up early and also went over a few small things with us to make sure it would be what we wanted. Hands down the best place to go with!

We used Sounds Abound Entertainment to DJ our wedding! LOVED them! First of all, they were so responsive to any questions I had, they didn't have some of the songs I wanted on their online planner so they found the songs and added them for me, their online planner was great. Our DJ was Keith Talaga and I am so happy he was our DJ! Very fun, attentive, and was definitely not cheesey!I would absolutely recommend Sounds Abound to anyone - Especially Keith!

I had seen their work 5+ times at other friends weddings and have yet to be disappointed. Sounds Abound was extremely helpful! David did a great job and we were more than happy with all of their services. I met with David a few times and spoke with him on the phone before the wedding, he was very receptive to the music/atmosphere we wanted to set for our cocktail hour & wedding reception. We also booked our photo booth and up-lighting with Sounds Abound and both were impeccable! We have numerous friends asking who we booked with and I am proud to tell them!

We booked a specific DJ with Sounds Abound because we had gone to a wedding that had one of the most fun, energetic dance floors we’d seen. We were so glad we ended up booking a large company like this because 9 days before the wedding we got a call from the owner that our DJ had become extremely ill and would be unable to do our wedding. We were lucky that there were still about 5 other DJs available, who had tons of experience. The new DJ we selected took time out of his schedule to meet with us the week of our wedding and completely put us at ease. Our original DJ also personally called us to apologize, which was very much appreciated especially given the horrible situation he was in. The owner of the company handled the situation great, giving us his personal cell phone number and always answered when I called. Even before this happened, the company was great about following up with us and making sure we didn’t need anything, and keeping us up to date with our timelines of when we need to pick all our music by, etc.Our wedding ended up being AMAZING – Steve did such a fantastic job; our dance floor was completely packed the entire night. To the point where the last hour or so people were dancing around the dance floor because it was so full. We got so many compliments on how great the music was. We cannot thank him enough for making himself available to us!!I’m writing this hopefully not scare you because this is obviously an extremely rare situation. But the point is that the company handled this unfortunate incident extremely well, and provided a backup that was just as good if not better than the DJ we originally booked. You cannot go wrong no matter which DJ you choose!! I now know of 3 weddings besides ours that have used Sounds Abound, and all have been absolutely great! None have had this situation occur :)

Plain and simple, Sounds Abound (Ken and Joann in particular) made our wedding absolutely perfect. The level of service was top notch, immediate responses regarding any inquiry we made. When we had an issue, Joann and her staff went above and beyond to make sure things were resolved to our satisfaction. Ken was our DJ and he truly knew exactly what to play and when in order to keep our night alive and moving along. He was helpful in getting the specific events started, but never pushy and he always kept the party going until the very last song. My husband and I went with Sounds Abound Entertainment for our DJ and MC services. We attended an open house and got to meet with some great DJs and watch videos of their work. We choose DJ Edge for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! DJ Edge stayed in contact with us throughout the entire planning. Always giving advice and suggestions, and never getting impatient with me as I changed the music list numerous times! The professionalism of DJ Edge and the Sounds Abound team made the entire planning process easy and smooth. The music for our ceremony was perfect and beautiful, and the reception music kept the guests dancing all night. By the end of the night we felt like DJ Edge was part of our family! He is an extraordinary DJ/MC and we can't thank him enough for making our wedding PERFECT!

We were referred to Jeff Wells of Sounds Abound in Naperville by family and are very pleased to say our reception was a huge hit!! Jeff kept the dance floor full with our family and friends that night and we are so glad we chose him to DJ. Jeff kept us on task during the planning process with email reminders from his team and with an easy-to-use website to choose our songs. We felt the song selection process was one of the more fun and playful parts of wedding planning, and put a lot of thought into our choices. Jeff allowed us to have him "call out" some friends and family before certain songs to keep the energy level high and keep guests wanting more surprises! Jeff gave us good ideas when we were stumped about certain song choices, and made sure our reception was reflective of us as a couple!We highly recommend Jeff Wells and Sounds Abound staff to anyone wanting a full dance floor for their wedding!

Our DJ, Danny, was spectacular! I picked him after watching videos and was not disappointed. He was very on top of everything and it made me so much more relaxed knowing that I had a professional there who would tell me when to cut the cake, first dance, etc. Communication was a breeze.. and the music rotation was great. He fit in our must play songs, and the dance floor was NEVER empty the entire night!

I have nothing bad to say about this company. They were quick with responses, the music planning program was easy and user-friendly and our dj, Matt Ammons, was amazing and really made our party amazing!

We hired Sounds Abound for our DJ, Photo Booth, and Invitations. They have a great package program and great discounts for using multiple services. Our DJ& Emcee was Matt Ammons. He was awesome and provided great guidance on some of our questions. He kept the party going all night and our guests LOVED the variety of music. There was NEVER all lull on the dance floor. We've been recommending him to our friends. The photo booth was the best money we spent. In addition to the music, this provided such great entertainment for our family and friends. We opted to get the attendant and scrapbook, too. SO WORTH IT! It was awesome to check out the pictures and messages when we got back from the honeymoon. Our friends got really creative. And family members surprised us with some laughable pictures! The Invitation Shop was great too. The girls there were extremely helpful in finding just the right invitations to match our colors, wedding style and budget. They had a great deal on the invitations and we're so glad we went through Sounds Abound. Great Company and Great Employees!

Sounds Abound were great. We were able to view the DJ's video and pick which DJ/Emcee we wanted. We chose Matt, who was great. When he met with us before the big day, he made sure to ask all the right questions on how we wanted the wedding to flow. He also made a few suggestions which actually made the whole experience better. Matt was with us from the ceremony all thru the reception. I can honestly say the dance floor was never empty at all thru out the whole nite. He kept the party going until it was time to leave. Not one of our guests left early, and we believe it was because of Matt and how he just kept us all going. He is a great guy, and a fantastic DJ/Emcee. He would be great for any party you might want to have and especially a wedding. Thanks Matt for everything.

We booked Brian Keck of Sounds Abound for our wedding DJ and he was GREAT. He played all the songs we wanted (and none that were on our do not play list). The dance floor was going all night! Didn't want a DJ that was cheesy, talkative, and annoying...Brian Keck was perfect! He played the right music at the right time - end of story. Highly recommended!!

Keith was our DJ, he did exactly as we asked. We got the computerized light show and it was awesome. I could not be happier with our DJ. He was so professional and fun but not cheesy at all. Thank you Keith!

AMAZING!!!! What professionalism and knowledge. Anything I needed or may want was offered. I booked a wonderful DJ (and there were plenty to pick from) and they even have an emergency DJ just in case (so you don't have to worry that their would be no music). Everytime we went in to their showroom we were able to talk to someone (even if we popped in unexpectedly), we got to go into their music booths to browse there music selection, and shop! We also used their other services. We bought our invitations from them! They were gorgeous and one of the wedding consultants help us pick and place an order! We received them quickly!!! We also bought our unity candle, flower girl basket, sign in book, and some things for the bridal party. We finally booked uplighting and A PHOTOBOOTH! Wow, that photobooth was also a big hit!!!! The wedding was beautiful... I didn't expect to get so much for my reception in one place. Every respresentative was professional and completely attentive!!! They were on top of everything!!!! I definately recommend this company! My husband and I were so beyond please with Sounds Abound!!! They really are the best of the best!

I would highly recommend Sounds Abound to any bride and groom looking for a professional, yet fun DJ company. Our DJ was David. He was extremely attentive and took care of the schedule and all our needs for the evening. He listened to our likes/dislikes and created a great playlist for everyone to enjoy. The price for what we received was also reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

Our DJ, Tony Ho, did an amazing job at our wedding at Cantigny. While he's generally pretty busy during the week, he made time to meet with us to discuss our wedding details and musical tastes, and then was available by phone and email to field any concerns and questions. Tony was incredibly professional throughout the planning process and after discussing the details of the night with him, I never again worried about the logistics of the reception, knowing that it was in his experienced hands. The reception turned out great and the guests, me included, all had a wonderful time!

Our DJ Matt Ammons did a fantastic job at our wedding. He was personable, professional and energetic! He was our dj for our wedding ceremony and reception and he didn't fantastic in both areas. He kept the crowd happy all night long. I would definitely recommend Matt.I was a little disappointed in Sounds Abound "dancing with the stars" package. The stars were green and looked like polka dots on our tent ceiling. However, everything else was perfect from Sounds Abound.

We absolutely loved our DJ, Tadd! He was wonderful and easy to work with. We danced almost the entire night and had such a fun time, in part to the wonderful music he played. We also used Sounds Abound for our videography. We chose the BluRay package and it turned out great! We are so thankful for great videography since we are disappointed in our photography.The only downfall we had with the DJ is that he was to play an instrumental version of a song but ended up playing the singing version. It worked out fine though so it did not bother us that he made this error. We would definitely recommend Sounds Abound for their DJ and videography services.

Our DJ, Kyle, was exactly what we wanted for our wedding!! He was committed to making sure the day went perfectly and was able to meet with us before our wedding to discuss our vision, go over names of the wedding party, make sure he had any special songs we wanted, and finalize the reception details. Kyle listened to our requests and created the reception we had envisioned. The dance floor was packed, for close to 4 hours!! We were told by numerous people that they had never seen so many people out on the dance floor all night. We owe so much of the fun we had dancing to our DJ.Although this was our dream reception, I'm sure they can help you create exactly what you want in your reception entertainment. We would highly recommend Sounds Abound, especially Kyle!

Keith at Sounds Aboud was our DJ. Keith and his partner did a fantastic job at our wedding. They were very professional, organized and in constant contact with us up until our wedding day. We felt very confident he would do a great job. We had many people comment on our DJ - they liked the mix of music. Also, my husband and I thought they did a great job keeping the evening going. It was a huge relief because we didn't have the confidence in our event coordinator. Keith saved the day!

We loved loved loved working with Sounds Abound. From choosing the best pricing, getting all of our music played, and working with the crowd, we had a great experience. Brian was awesome. He helped coordinate everything throughout the evening so well. He played great music, entertanined the 13 kids we had running around the reception site, and did everything we could have asked and more. Everyone had a great time dancing the night away. I just had some issues with getting people to call me back in a timely matter during the booking process. We also ended up booking the photo booth from them at the last minute. If you can swing it in your budget--do it! It was SUCH a HIT! Everyone had so much fun and we love having copies of all of the pictures!

The only reason I gave 4.5/5 for professionalism is that DJ was almost too nice! I appreciate that he worked with us, but my one regret that night is that we did our first dance too late in the evening. When he first came to us to see if we were ready we were visiting tables on one side of room. I asked if it was ok to wait a bit and he said yes. I really wish he would have reminded me that we were prolonging the dancing because generally it's slower dinner type music until bride & groom dance and then father/daughter dance. I just felt we got the party started too late. It's definitely our fault, but it would have been nice if he was a little more "pushy" with us! But overall very easy to work with and no complaints :)

We had Tony Coix and he did an AMAZING job!!! The dance floor was literally filled the whole night! He listened to us and really got the music that we wanted. He also pronounced all the names of the party right! He was also readily available if we needed to speak to him or changed our minds about things. At the reception, about 8 people came up to us and told us this was the best wedding they've ever been too. I would highly recommend Sounds Abound especially Tony!

Danny was awesome! The choice of music was fantastic! He worked well with a room full of firemen and teachers! The night of the wedding we decided we want a dance off between the teachers and firemen and he made it happen!Everyone had a great time!

We used Dan which I believe was $100 or $200 extra but definitely worth it. This DJ service did everything that we wanted.

We are repeat customers of Sounds Abound. Four years ago we had the owner Ken as our DJ and he did a great job. Ken wasn't available for my other daughter's wedding this November so we watched all the DJ's video and the bride and groom picked Tony Ho. Tony was perfect! He called the bride and groom several times before the wedding and made a great job of knowing exactly what they wanted. He was fun but not "over the top." We had our own video montage and Sounds Abound played it for us during the salad. We did however, have the upgrade Dancing Under the Stars... well worth the money!

We would definitely recommend Sounds Abound, and particularly, Larry Merkel, for a wedding DJ. We had nothing but supreme customer service from them from beginning to end. Our families are wall flowers - we never expected them to get out on the dance floor. But the floor was packed all night, thanks to the excellent song mix and encouragement from the DJ. About two weeks before the wedding, my father requested that we play a song special to my mother and him. It was some outdated thing that no one had ever heard of. While it wasn't in the Sounds Abound library, Sounds Abound worked with him to make sure that his favorite version of this song was the one played. The only downside of the evening was that they didn't note the updates we had made to the online planner before they closed it. We had changed the father/daughter and first dance about 12 days before the wedding (-the online planner locks us out at 10 days before). Those changes were not reflected. It wasn't a huge deal because we liked the songs we initially chose, too. But we were a little disappointment that our changes weren't made. I still would not hesitate to recommend them. Our reception was above and beyond anything we expected, and we were thrilled with their service.

Sounds Abound is a great DJ company. They are very detail oriented to make sure everything goes smoothly. Our DJ Keith was great - we'd definitely recommend him!

I would recommend Sounds Abound to anyone needing a DJ/MC for an event. Tony Ho was the DJ/MC at our wedding and he was great! He really set the tone for the night with the music and had everyone on the dance floor all night. It's been a month since our wedding, and I still have people telling me how great the music and the dj were.

The DJ (Matt) was very nice and accomidiating. He asked what type of music we liked and was response to the audience (when no one was dancing, he changed the music!) You can choose songs on a database from their website for all the type of dances you want. It was very easy!

The reason we went with Sounds Abound was because DH's sister had them at her wedding & they were magnificent! We met with Jeff & talked about how we wanted to make sure our guests were having a great time & how important the music would be because we were inviting people who love to dance. Jeff was a pleasure to talk to & after we put down a deposit for the signature gold package, we came home to view a video clip of their DJs to see which one we'd want to hire. Well, the one that stood out to me was Danny Diebold, although his request fee was $200 (only three of their 23 DJ's had a request fee). I really wanted to book Danny & DH agreed that he was exacltly what we were looking for in a DJ so we booked him. Upon meeting Danny, he has such a genuine kindness about him, knows his music very well & takes great pride & has a passion for his work. He helped us when we were stumped with songs for intros. & was quick to respond to our questions. We had a big bridal party (14 people total) and he was wonderful at getting them all together & ready to be introduced. Danny was very organized, attentive & a great DJ overall! When needed he would let us know what was coming up & we did not have one worry whatsoever. We all had such a wonderful time dancing, we were so bummed when it came to an end. The Sounds Abound website is very easy to navigate, they also have a wedding shop located in the store, where we bought quite a few things for our wedding as well as our invitations which turned out beautiful & elegant!! When you book Sounds Abound, you get a discount on anything you buy in their wedding shop & it applies to their invitations! We were so happy with the Sounds Abound staff, they treat you wonderfully & offer so many great options in their packages.

We first heard of Sounds Abound at my new sister-in-laws' wedding back in 2007 & when we were researching DJs we felt that Sounds Abound had not only a great reputation but they have so many DJs to choose from! Our DJ was Danny Diebold who although had a $200 request fee, I really liked his personality & just had to have him at our reception! Danny did not disappoint, he has a friendly, genuine personality and he really loves his job & music. He made our happiness his priority & during our meeting let us know what to expect the day of, for instance he would let us know when we'd be cutting our cake, having our first dance, etc.. because with all of the excitement of the day & everyone stopping to talk to you, you forget things! One thing we wanted to make sure was that our guests had a great time & that they did! Danny played music we had requested as well as songs that he knew would get more people onto the dance floor. He has an excellent way of reading the crowd, not to mention when it was time to gather our 14 person bridal party (yes it was big) he did an excellent job of getting them ready for their intros. Danny was definitely worth the extra $200 and Sounds Abound only has this request fee for 2 or 3 of their many DJs. They also have a wedding shop with almost everything you need. We purchased our invitations thru them, which included a Sounds Abound discount & they turned out beautiful! My mother-in-law also purchased our unity candle & a few other accessories for us at their wedding shop. I had such a wonderful experience with Sounds Abound & highly recommend them!

Amazing DJ, the dance floor was packed the entire night long!! The only problem i had was they never changed the father daughter dance when we asked them to (granted, we did ask only 2 days before the wedding so it was kind of last minute). otherwise they were perfect! And great value for the money. Tony Ho is the best!

I found Sounds Abound on Wedding Wire and they got good reviews so I decided to meet with them and check it out. The service at Sounds Abound was excellent! We actually used them for our invitations and they turned out great, and check out the wedding shop for your ceremony decorations they also give a discount if you book with them! The ladies in the office are very nice, always willing to help and they keep you posted on what you need to do in the weeks before the wedding. Our DJ was Brian Keck, he was AWESOME! By the end of the night he knew the names of a bunch of my guests and kept the party going strong until we had to stop. Many of my guests commented on how quickly he changed the music if people were not dancing and then the dance floor would quickly fill up again! Brian was very sensitive to how we wanted the wedding to flow, he always asked before he announced something (bouquet toss for example) he wanted to be sure the timing was right for us. The dance floor was going strong all night long thanks to Brian and we all had a great time! We also did our photo montage with Sounds Abound, it also turned out great and the guests loved it! Videography was also done by Sounds Abound, they gave us a discount if we booked both DJ and Video so we decided to do both. The videographer was great as well, I hardly knew she was around and I cant wait to get the finished product! I had a great experience with Sounds Abound, I would use them again for any party!

Sounds Abound was great to work with, they played awesome songs for my wedding and kept everyone out on the dance floor. Everyone commentedto us on how that they haven't danced this much in a long, long time at a wedding. DJ Larry and DJ Rob were really, great

Jeff Wells was our MC/DJ for our reception and he is awesome!!!Since the groom is also a guitarist, and the bride and groom share a love and passion for music - there was a specific type of music selection we wanted -only instrumental guitar music during cocktails & dinner. Everything from electric to soft acoustic and some baroque mixed in between. (think Joe Satriani, Steve Vai & Paul Gilbert to Ottmar Liebert and Jesse Cook) With our list of music & who knows how many Cds... Jeff gladly accepted the challenge with excitement! He made a special intro for us, which totally represented us as a couple!! (police sirens and all ;-) )Jeff really set the mood for the evening's events. After dinner, he rocked the dance floor & kept everyone moving all night!Too much fun, he's a great MC/DJ & all around great guy! Highly recommend him!

We couldn't have been happier with Sounds Abound as our DJ service. Our DJ was great to work with, and he had absolutely everyone (young and old) out on the dance floor the entire night!

Everything was great up to the day of my event. Our DJ didn't play any of our songs!!!! We spent so long picking out songs we wanted played, and had a meeting with him and then he didn't play our songs. When my husband asked why he wasn't playing our songs he said "These are good songs I'm playing". Well, great! It's not about what songs YOU like, it's about what songs WE like!! My husband had to babysit him the whole night. Do not go to these people!!!!!

My husband and I got to work with DJ Tony Ho from Sounds Abound-and he was AWESOME!! he got people involved, but in a fun way where they wanted to get up and dance, he played great music, he had a great personality and was super friendly! We had a HUGE wedding party and he never skipped a beat or mispronounced a name! Everybody asked me who I used and I couldn't have been happier with my DJ and his assistant! The company as a whole was also a pleasure to work with and their prices were really good. The value was unbeatable between the great people of sounds abound and the quality they put out!

Sounds Abound was a great company to work with from start to finish. They were professional, responsive and took the time to ensure the selection of songs met my vision. The overall organization of Sounds Abound seemed pretty identical to the other DJ services I looked at. However, Sounds Abound turned out to be one of the highlights of our wedding because of the particular skill of our dj, Edge. Edge had a natural knack for playing the right things and we received many comments from guests that they loved his playlist (along with the testimony of seeing the dance floor crowded with a great mix of people). He also respected all my preferences of things to play and things NOT to play. He kept the night running smoothly and even helped my husband and I to monitor the time so we didn't have to break conversations to worry about how many minutes we should wait until the bouquet toss etc. We had a great time with Edge's help, and I would gladly recommend him.

David was great. Followed Do Not Play and Must Play lists. Kept guests entertained, kept people on the dance floor all night. Everyone loved his personality, we are very happy with David W at Sounds Abound.

We loved Sounds Abound Entertainment! The company was super easy to book, and to work with throughout the planning process. They have a great online planner that allows you to plan your event, select 'must play' and 'do not play' song lists at your leisure. The prices were competitive, and the level of service was excellent.Our DJ was Matt Lodding, and he did a wonderful job! He played all of our 'must play' songs, got everyone on the dance floor, and kept them out there all night! For the very last song of the night, we had everyone on the dance floor... it was a wonderful night and Matt was a huge part of it! We love Sounds Abound & Matt!

The basic DJ package was just right for our needs and budget. We selected Rick Young from the list of DJ's, after careful consideration. Sounds Abound was, above all else, very professional in their sales and customer service. When I was considering the company I received a very polite (and not high pressure) sales pitch via a phone call. I received a follow up call some time later to see if I had any further questions, etc. When I brought my now husband in to their Naperville location (we had essentially decided to book with them) the same salesman, very politely, gave essentially the same pitch with the same information. Even sitting in his not terribly spacious office, neither one of us felt pressure to book them. We did, though, and quite happily made use of their music listening room. We had a list of songs we knew we'd want that weren't already in the database. Before we left they had the songs added!A month before the wedding date, I got an email about the balance due and filling out the remainder of my online planner before a certain date. About 2 weeks before the wedding, there was another, similar, email and a phone call to the same effect. The week before the wedding, I spoke with our DJ on the phone for about 45 minutes and we went over the worksheets that I had filled out, along with the pronunciation of everyone's names.Rick and his assistant were set up by the time I arrived. They were dressed appropriately and professional at all times. When the guests were eating dinner, I noticed they set a playlist and also took their meal. I was wrapped up in enjoying my wedding day, but I did notice that the DJ, the photographer and the wait staff were coordinating the exact timing of the various reception events. (Dinner starting, introductions, toasts, cake cutting, tossing stuff, etc.)I actually blame Rick for changing my plans at the reception. My now husband and I had not really planned to stay for the entire reception, but the music, the people, and the atmosphere was so much fun that we stayed until the very end. It was all his fault for working the crowd so well! Ha ha.In short, I cannot help but rate this vendor very highly in all areas. I felt, at all times, that this was a professional business with a lot of practice in their field. They were highly courteous and quick to make any adjustments necessary to fulfill my needs. They are not the cheapest DJ service, but the level of service you get for the price is amazing!

We were extremely happy with Sounds Abound and with Gregg, our DJ. They were always very responsive and very easy to work with. My husband worked with Gregg to find an obscure song (as a surprise for me) - Gregg worked to find the the song and then spent time editing the song to fit our needs. Gregg also worked with us to understand our music tastes and incorporated it into our playlist. He played all the songs we requested and incorporated the non-danceable songs into the dinner music. We didn't have a long list of requested songs - at the end of the night though we had no complaints on what music was played.

Amazing! Danny Diebold was fantastic! I can't even tell you how many positive comments we heard about how great he was. The dance floor was packed the entire night. He kept everything in line with our time frame and make sure that we were clued in at every step along the way. He was great at coordinating with our photographer and videographer to make sure that everyone was working together throughout the entire night. My maid of honor surprised me with a power point presentation but at the last second her mouse on her computer died. Danny jumped in to save the day and helped her pull it off without a hitch. Booking with Sounds Abound was the best choice we made in planning our wedding. Again, AMAZING!

Fabulous DJ! They made sure to make our night special and memorable, not cheesey or obnoxious like some of the DJs we had seen at other weddings. Carried out all our requests, made sure everything was just as we wanted it, from the definitely-play to the don't-play list. Even took the time to include some offbeat songs that had special meaning to us and our friends and family. Their website is fantastic too, we basically took care of our song selection from home.

Jeff Wells of Sounds Abound provided the music for our recent wedding. We had a great experience with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, polite and easy to work with. No cheesy DJ here!!! We hand-picked A LOT of our songs and even provided a number from our own music library---Jeff managed to play just about all of them. And we didn't hear a single thing from our dreaded Do Not Play list. He worked in requests and kept the party going all night long. We had a great experience with him and would highly recommend. The fact that Sounds Abound always provides a DJ assistant means the night moves smoothly! Fantastic.

Mark was awesome! We sent him a link to the website we created for our guests, which included a page for them to reqest songs for the reception. He did a lot of digging through his songs to find as many of their requests as he could. It really showed because the dance floor was PACKED all night long.

Sounds Abound were great to work with, they gave me exactly what I was looking for and made me comfortable that the day was going to turn out great. People were wonderful, nice, and efficient.

After a small hiccup (the original DJ cancelled and we had to pick a different one), our night ended up great! Kyle was the BEST DJ! He even came out and danced (after some coaxing) with everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better soundtrack to our wedding day!

The music selection was great and the DJ was not cheezy at all! Our guests were on the floor until the end and chanting for one more song.

David was our DJ and he did a great job keeping the dance floor packed at our wedding. Our reception was a massive dance party all night. Much to David's disapproval, we even ended our night on a favorite of our friends and family, which is very non traditional, but was the perfect ending to our perfect day. We met with David about a month before the wedding and talked to him for a while about the different types of music and artists that we liked, which I thought was really good to give him some specific examples of what we were / weren't looking for. We were very happy with the music and entire flow of the night.

Sounds Aboud was GREAT! Easiest vendor in the world to work with. They let you have 100% involvement in the process to pick songs that YOU want played. The DJ we worked with was John Cicconne. I could not say enough good things about him. He was thorough and made sure that I did not have to worry about one single thing on the day of the wedding. Highly recommend!!!

Sounds Abound has a great online planner that really helped our wedding reception go smoothly. Every song we requested was played and the DJ stayed on schedule.

What a wonderful job Ken did. We were told he was the best in the business and he was. He made sure that people were on the dance floor at all times. He was also willing to change things around as far as what was happening when during dinner. We had a great time with him!

The dj was great and on top of everything & quick to respond & help out. He played all of our songs, (even though some of them were very hard to find). they did great

Danny from Sounds Abound was FANTASTIC! He kept the dance floor packed the entire night and really read the crowd. He started off with older music and then it got younger as the night went on (which is what we wanted). He played every single song we asked for and was non-cheesy, which again is what we asked for. Danny was very professional and was like having a second wedding coordinator, as he was willing to help with anything! Sounds Abound was great to work with. They were extremely professional from the first consultation to the last. The online planning tool was wonderful as well!

I really was so happy with Greg from Sound's Abound. We had a specific list of songs we did not want to hear, and a list of songs we wanted to play during cocktails, dinner, and after. No cheesy songs and absultely no electric slide! With some minor exceptions, every song we chose plus some additional throw ins (halloween music b/c our wedding was on halloween weekend- lol) were played. The dance floor was packed and everyone commented to me on how good the music selection was. We are huge music buffs, and thanks to Greg, we had the perfect music played during our cocktails, dinner, and dancing. They don not say 'no' to any music you have and will play exactly what you want. The price was very nice too!

Sounds Abound is wonderful. They were so nice, attentive and professional. They were our d.j. and they have a shop where we purchased our wedding invitations which were gorgeous! I have 3 other friends who all used Sounds Abound last year for their weddings as well. Everyone was very pleased.

The owner of Sounds Abound, Ken, also created a photo montage for additional reception entertainment. Everyone loved it! This company was very professional- great communication and follow through.

Jeff did a great job, but was VERY expensive for music!

The DJ was okay. It was my own fault though I waited until last minute. The officiant was mic'd and turned his mic off and neither the DJ or Herrington Inn manager jumped in to point that out. So needless to say, no one could hear us and I didn't find that out until well after the wedding was over. The music was good, and the guy we had was energetic, but kinda cheezy. My only other issue was the music that was supposed to start as my hubby and I left the alter, took awhile to start and we were almost to the door, but I think that's because no one could hear us and didn't know we were done....

This DJ was the best DJ i have seen at a wedding. my sister used him and now after my wedding reception my cousin is using the same guy! He was very friendly and energetic. He got everyone on the dance floor he even did the cha-cha dance and was very instructional with other songs - Best Dj out there

Sounds Abound and their wedding shop met so many of our needs it is hard to know where to start. They did my invitations which were beautiful and fast. I bought our unity candle there which was a hurricane lamp and they did etching on it. I got my cake topper and my favors there. It was like one stop shopping! The DJ was great and they had a room where my fiance and I could sift through their catalog and select the song we did (and didn't) want to hear ahead of time. They were very professional at the wedding and I never felt like I was subjecting my guests to a commercial. At least two other couples at my reception went with Sounds Abound as well. They are the tops! Everybody said they had fun.

A friend recommended Sounds Abound and I'm glad they did. I've been to allot of wedding where the DJ was just OK. Sounds Abound was unbelievable and the best DJ we ever heard. Their equipment and music library was second to none. You can't go wrong using this DJ.

Our Sounds About DJ was great. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. What was best was they were able to follow our 'ban' list perfectly. We used Gregg Eisel and he was great. I would recommend using him.

I loved the fact that our DJ Tony Coix really stuck by my "no play list". Even when my groom requested a song that was on my "no play list" he stuck by it. Everyone was so professional and friendly--from the receptionist to the DJ assistant.
