Veronica was amazing!! She always answers emails right away and is so nice about everything. Her prices are phenomenal, especially for the amazing quality of product and service she provides. We got 3 flavors, which we were not expecting to be in our budget, but her packages are great. I would recommend her to every bride I know in the area and cannot wait to go back for our anniversary cake!

Our experience with Veronica at Southern Gold Leaf Cakes couldn't have been better. She was professional, flexible, and creative, and most importantly the cake was delicious and beautiful. She also made gluten-free/dairy-free cupcakes that were enjoyed by guests with allergies and many without! We loved our cake, which featured diamond tiers and the beading design on my wedding dress. Veronica's prices are also unbelievably reasonable. Five stars on everything!

Both our wedding cake and our groom's cake were beautiful. They also tasted great! So many of our guests commented on how delicious the cake was. Veronica was great to work with. She was one of the few people I found who knew how to do false tiers to produce a bigger cake that added so much to the decor. We had a four-tiered cake (with a false tier) and a "kitchen cake" (a sheet cake that cuts just like the real one, but is kept in the back, cut and bought out for guests already cut.) This was such a great value. If you want a beautiful delicious cake at a great price, then definitely talk to Veronica.

Veronica made a beautiful cake for my wedding 10/27. We chose her based on the recommendation of our Wedding Planner (Catherine Katz-Cherrished Celebrations) as well as the great reviews on line. Veronica met with my Mother and I and providied samples of the flavors we were thinking about. My Fiance had given me several photo's of what was important to him in the appearance of the cake and Veronica was excited to be able to make our vision a reality. We chose a double layer cake with 2 different flavors and frostings that were all covered in her WONDERFUL home made fondant. I admit, I was worried that fondant would taste like card board, but hers was light and tasty. The cake was moist and beautiful. She delivered it herself and helped me (with my shaking hands) cut the first slices. My guests raved about the taste and look of her cake and I would recommend her to anyone! I will surely use her in the future for my Husbands business meetings as well as for other events. Thank you Veronica!

Veronica made special "cake cups" for us. We had a basic idea and she took it and ran with it. They looked fantastic and tasted even better! We were able to choose a variety of flavors too. It was hard to pick our favorite from all the ones we tasted! We loved that she was willing to do something different for us.

Veronica and Southern Goldleaf Cakes made the most beautiful, most delicious cake I could have imagined. She was very responsive in getting just the right flavor (amaretto pound cake) and just the right design. I got a work of art as well as a very tasty dessert. My good friend also surprised me with one of Veronica's cakes for the rehearsal dinner -- it was a very clever design that was also delicious. Southern Goldleaf Cakes is a small operation that will give you the personal attention that you deserve in planning your big day.

Veronica met with my daughter and son in law months prior to the wedding. She brought a variety of cakes and icing flavors they were interested in for tasting along, with sketches of cake designs based on what the bride/bridegroom wanted. Then she guided them through "building" the cake that they wanted which included cake flavors, icings and the details of the cake design to create what they wanted. It was a delightful experience for the family. Veronica kept in touch as she said she would. On the wedding day, Veronica came and assembled the cake which was EXACTLY what they wanted and looked perfect with the other decorations. The bride/groom had selected 3 different cake flavors and icings and made sure to have some of each type. There was plenty cake left over which our family enjoyed for several days!

Southern Gold Leaf Cakes did mine and my husbands wedding 6 years ago, and did a WONDERFUL job! The morning of, she showed up extra early to make sure that everything was perfect, and that everything was in order. She delivered the cake, and set everything up, and everyone was so impressed and fell in love with the cake. It was absolutely beautiful, and the taste was incredible!!! I now live in Tx, and will tell my friends that are getting married about her!!

The best tasting cakes around! Veronica has the ability to create a master piece of art in her cakes. I have had the pleasure to order cakes from Southern Gold Leaf cakes for personal use as well as taste them at various wedding vendor events. I've always been very pleased with the professional presentation of Veronica's work.

After sampling several of Southern Gold Leaf Cakes, I can say they not only have a beautiful and unique presentation, but the taste is amazing. No flavor is too overwhelming, the cake is light with the perfect amount of sweetness and every part from the fruit to the icing tastes so incredibly fresh. Veronica is a lovely person to talk to and is passionate about baking with only the highest quality, seasonal ingredients. Everything is completely from scratch and she is happy to work with whatever is on your flavor wish list.

We contacted Veronica at Southern Gold Leaf Cakes at the last minute for a display cake for a Bridal Show we were both participating in. Without hesitation she got right on it and provided us with a beautiful cake that even matched our booth colors and since she knew we'd be lighting it with our Cake Lights, she even added some beautiful shimmer to it. She was so great to work with and is so flexible. Her cakes were delicious (we LOVED the strawberry lemonade!!). It's hard to find beautiful cakes that also taste great but she seems to have done it. We will definitely be recommending her to anyone looking for a cake for their Wedding or Special Event!!

Veronica makes delicious and beautiful cakes. She provided a lovely cake for a wedding I officiated on Dec 31st at The Washington Duke. So she is even available and undaunted by demands at unusual times. She's also a joy to work with. I can't recommend her highly enough.
