Rev. Matt was wonderful. He allowed us to completely personalize our ceremony. All our guests commented on how touching it was. He was open to meeting with us several times and was so knowledgable and helpful about the entire wedding process.

Rev. Matt made our ceremony amazing!!! All of our guests are talking about how sentimental & personal our ceremony was. He made planning the ceremony so simple. He had a binder of things we could choose to include in our ceremony. He emailed everything over to us and let us decide. He was so helpful with answering our questions and very prompt at getting back to us. I couldn't imagine what kind of ceremony it would have been without Rev. Matt, I do know it would not have been as wonderful & meaningful as it was!! Thank you so much for all of your help & for marrying us!

About Southern New England Wedding Ministry

I am an ordained Christian minister whose sole ministry is dedicated to joining two people together in matrimony. I preside over marriage ceremonies mostly in the southern New England areas of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. As a matrimonial officiant, I specialize in customized, on-site wedding ceremonies, either Christian or simply non-denominational. And no matter what the venue may be that you choose as the setting for your special day, I will help you to plan the perfect wedding ceremony, tailored to suit your individual needs.

What officiant services do you provide?

What religious affiliations do you serve?

Christian (no denomination), Christian - Anglican, Christian - Baptist, Christian - Catholic, Christian - Episcopalian, Christian - Lutheran, Christian - Methodist, Christian - Mormon, Christian - Orthodox, Christian - Presbyterian, Christian - Quaker, Evangelical

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

I will perform a ceremony at whichever site the couple chooses.

What is your attire for the ceremony?

As in my pictures, I wear a shirt and tie under a black robe with a stole.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

I provide materials to help the couple put together their ceremony, however the final wording is left completely up to them. The vows should be a reflection of how they feel.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

They can choose from what I offer or write their own.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

I offer a list of pre-selected readings, but the couple is not limited to them.

How long are your ceremonies?

Depending on the content the couple chooses, the ceremonies usually last between 10-20 minutes.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No premarital counseling is required.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

I will perform pre-ceremony rehearsals and encourage them when the ceremony will be more than just a very small, initmate affair.

Do you supply a sound system?

I do not provide a sound system; however I am more than happy to wear a lapel mic provided by the DJ or videographer.
